    About to attempt a push to 1100. Please be kind. I don't even want Widow, just Spidey. Actually prefer Thor reward. Was reading the other thread how people skip other forum goers and now I'm a bit sad that my forum name and IGN are not the same. I think my name was too long or something.

    Finally found a combo that gives IM priority (C. Storm and Thor, both a Lv85), that Forest Fire is pretty fun. But, yeah, pretty annoying that you have to manipulate the game to get around the bug. icon_evil.gif

    And... Finally got Spidey. Had the points twice only to drop under between being told I had them and rejoining the room... third time I was lucky (and spent a lot on boosts to make sure I killed as quickly as possible.)

    I'll be topping up before bedtime, so you got a couple of hours or so to smack me around again.

    Was hoping to make the push to Spidey (or even the second Mk 40 token) this afternoon, but I can barely stay over 900 after the slaughter I took this morning. Probably diving back in after dinner for a final push before the last-hour decimation. At least 900 keeps me competitive place-wise (for now...)

    Well, I was below 800 when I started my last push, so it's doable. There's enough people around with higher scores, I think that's more important than where you start from.

    Depends on what team you have and what teams you're being matched against. I don't think I'll break 900 before the carnage begins, but maybe I'll get lucky. 1000 is pretty much impossible for me, and 1100 is a dream.

    Team -- L15 freebie or L28 IM Mk40 (2/1/0, max level), L45 Thor (3/3/2, max level), L52 2* Wolverine (3/3/4, still leveling as I get ISO) or L53 C Storm (2/3/4, max level, likes to tank)

    I'm going up against teams with L60+ C Storm and Thors (most common).

    Oh, joy... while writing this post I just lost 40 points to someone w/ under 100. L15 IM, L85 C Storm, L25 Venom. Easy to beat, but I get 1 point for doing so.

    I've spend most of the weekend in the top 25, but all I really want is to finish in either the top 10 (unlikely) or 26-50 (2 Thor covers). The single BW cover isn't worth it.

    Zathrus, that's an impressive performance for the team that you are fielding. If you can get the covers to max out Wolverine's green and yellow, he's a monster - have you completed the mission that gives his covers?

    If at all possible, you want Wolverine tanking instead of Storm, he can take it a lot better, but I'm guessing that you already knew this, lol. I'm deliberately holding back levelling my Ragnarok because he doesn't regen and most of my damage comes from the Strike tiles anyway, so I can afford to have Wolverine tile-matching still.

    It's also a shame that most of the people winning Thor covers already have him maxed out...

    I also find that occasionally there is just nothing you can do if they get the first major cascade

    I made it past 1k this afternoon, I was hoping to push for 1100 this evening, but I'm losing points way too fast. I was hoping my lvl 69 spidey would stop people from bothering me, but that's not happening. Maybe I'll use the 500 hp to pull a few heroes.

    I think that's the nicest "wow, your team sucks" I've heard =) . I'm a f2p'er -- I'd be willing to toss some money in to the dev team, but not until the ranking system gets some fixes.

    Yes, I've completed those missions (well, there's a Red Wolv cover I don't care about left). I'd love to max out Wolv's yellow and green, but that'll depend on the luck of the draw and/or future tournament rewards. Note that before this tournament started he was <L10 -- I made a ton of ISO off the Lightning tournaments and nearly all of it went into him.

    Yeah, I leveled up C Storm forgetting that I had her at just the right level for Thor to tank for her. I've now raised Wolverine to 54 so he should tank instead of C Storm. We'll see how it goes in the last few hours.

    Maybe I'll try out Thor for a while too. Only prob is that he steals tiles from IM40, even tho with the boost he's higher.

    Made it from about 800 after dinner to 1077 before I started getting hit back and unable to find any 20-point opponents.

    Ahh this sucks, I'm #1 in my bracket. seems everyone else wants to be where I want to be (at #26-50) as I'm not getting attacked nearly as much as I normally would by this close to end of the tourney.

    I am in #3 but seem to get hammered every time I approach mid 800's
    Luckily got my 900 reward but I am not hopeful for the 1000 hero points
