    Thanks for all your contributions over the last months. You were a big part of what somehow became a very good alliance.

    Well, you see, this Sentry event - I'm not interested in it, grinding subs in optimal times, keeping scaling in line,rinse-repeat-rinse-repeat - it leaves bad taste in my mouth, especially for character that doesn't appeal to me (3* Ares? no, thank you). Same for PvP - I feel that I want some rest, some time for other games, for something..other. And I feel that this will be bad for alliance score - and no one would want that, yeah? On other hand, I don't know, if this feeling is permanent or not. Maybe we can settle for temp leave - for duration of season?
    And yeah, I did leave alliance so that other recruits could join and expand it, heh icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Well how about this. Take a break. And if we need to fill a position in the future you'll probably get higher consideration. Similar to how we fast passed bonfire bc we knew him from before

    I know how you feel. I'm not excited about sentry but I'm enjoying playing the pve.

    I too am burned out on MPQ and will be quitting. With the way rubberbanding works I have no desire to play when forced to, I want to play when I feel like it, and lately, I have zero desire to play. Thank you all for the good times and if I ever do decide to come back, I'll definitely look to rejoin the church!!!

    Welcome to our newest members, and a fond farewell to our departing friends.

    So, like pretty much all of the top alliances (and a good chunk of the rest as well) the Church of Patches is seeing turnover due to a number of terrible decisions made in the last month or so by D3. Players are burnt out, angry, and tired of being treated as disposable (literally) income.

    I still plan on us remaining a Top 10 alliance, but I think I'll be cracking the liquorice whip even less than before--if we slip a bit... well, I'd rather have a group of players than enjoy being with each other than whatever else the alternative is (the alternative being somewhat akin to how AB's brain feels about living with him).

    We are still committed to being a 'have fun at any cost' alliance. If you aren't having fun, let us know, and we will replace you with a more suitable funbot. I get them discount in bulk, along with my meds.

    Sorry, Arognt, I intended to have an unshielded top 25 in Psy's tourney, but I kinda got top 10 and shielded, so I'm going to shield hop to get more points and probably jump you. We are both pretty vulnerable though at our 9 and 10.

    Haha no, the blame is purely on my Internet issues - first time it happened at a critical time, but meh, I got the 1000 pts prog reward after not getting it multiple times before due to attacks, and that fat ISO went straight to the Fat man. We have lazyDaken awards AGAIN so I think I will try better this time icon_e_biggrin.gif

    It's unfortunate, but due to a number of unsavory situations, the time has come for me to leave the warm embrace of our fellowship. Things may have played out differently had Season 2 not ridden in on the back of Season 1, but as it stands, I can no longer commit to the schedule of play requisite to contribute to the continued success of the Church. I remain a devout follower of the tenets laid down by the Bladed One and will attend worship when able, but cannot be counted upon to attend ice-cream socials, make lemon squares for the bake-sale, or oversee blood sacrifices; please strike my name from the mailing list for the newsletter.

    I regret that I never baited OTERSEY into a drunken shouting match about anything.
    I regret that I failed to make referring to Bonfire as "Binfire" a thing.
    I regret that I couldn't find a contextually relevant opportunity to use "lmaonade" here on the forums.
    Mostly, though, I regret that I let Poontree make his exit without a pronounced limp.

    This is a great alliance, full of great people; I am honored to have been a part of it.
