Nothing. They don't think about the boosted / available characters in event re-runs, only in the first run. They just push the RNG blender and see what comes out; and/or stick to whatever their boosted rotation schedule is. Not sure which, but in any event it's just a pre-programmed thing.

I think Venom Bomb suffers from this problem the worst. The event's original run had Cage, Fist, Marvel, and Spidey all boosted to deal with the symbiotes. So you had some quick cheap abilities, acceleration, board shake, stuns, free attack & protect tiles, etc. It was challenging but tailored to the chosen heroes' abilities. One of the next runs had KK, Thor, and Panther. All strong hitters, but slow to get going and lacking any abilities whatsoever to slow the symbiotes down. It was complete trash and ruinously difficult. VB hasn't gotten any easier since.

Anyway. This event's been utter junk due to such rotten character selection.

I'd choose venom bomb with no boosteds over this steaming pile. give me unboosted jean and witch or unboosted fist and oml any day. im40 with ice or 4thor....who cares about boosts? its the character quality that matters. and this has very little to choose from.

Just realized I probably won't reach final progression here. Oh well.

Gwen morales and pegy works really well here. Even tough I have all of them higly underlvled (121, 111, 101) they have good synergy - keeping opponents locked and bombing them down with cherries.

    Sub 3 scaling, ****?

Max levels on entire hard track, first play?
    T3 average 276, node average 325, DEADLY. I haven't seen a DEADLY in months

This is half correct. Yes, the tile damage for red goes to the Grenadier because his tile damage is higher. This does not mean red is their "strong color" It's not. Against that team, the strong colors are still green, blue, black. You are relatively safe using Blade against this team. Despite what the tile damage says for goons, their strong(preferred) colors are their ability colors only.

If you were fighting Doc Ock (green/blue/black), Lieutenant (pink/yellow), any ninja (red/x/x), you would be fighting a rainbow covered team.
This. The AI doesn't chase its strongest colors, it chases colors that "charge abilities." I put that in quotes because it counts passives as abilities that can be charged. If you're fighting Ock and two Maggia Thugs, they'll prioritize blue, green, black, yellow and TUs. They will ignore red unless there's a match-4 available or none of their primary colors can be matched.

And how would Dock Ock activate insult to injury? By chasing matches that include a special tile... Therefore as others pointed out, Blade is not ideal to use. There's no way to ensure he would leave Blade's strike tiles alone. Match 4s have nothing to do with this

While we all assume it is just an RNG thing as far as what characters are boosted, but far too often it seems like we get loads of special tile generators to go up against Doc Ock in this heroic.

Ummm....am I missing something or will 3 clears per sub not get the 25 CP? I have done clears optimally 3 per sub plus all one time nodes and I have continued to optimally hit the repeatable node but I won't make 43000 unless I grind it appears....****? I am at 2 clears for the last sub left and only at just under 30000 points and am 31 in my bracket...

Yes, the sick progression is also GARBAGE in this event.

It was probably "too easy" to grab 25CP.
Now, to paraphrase, "you have to grind more".

Lvl 325 everything, but oh hey look who have all cleared the sub before I can even attempt the second deadly node....the soft cappers.

This is one of the biggest failures in this broken game: You've been punished for having build up a stronger roster, while if you had softcapped your characers you could have an easy life icon_e_surprised.gif

    It's insanely absurd icon_mad.gificon_cry.gif

Blade wasn't ideal to use but it was pretty much a MUST. I personally avoided all of Dock Ocks attempts to make ITJ and it was easy. So go ahead, use Blade you wont regret it and you will thank me later! icon_e_wink.gif

I would like to check how is the scaling of the second and third subs for this Heroic: Juggs.

I don't understand how my enemies can have such a high level. My roster has a and almost maxed OML, and 12 champed 4s but I CAN'T use any of those in this event, my most levelled chars are Doom 258, Loki 256 and HT 251, but then my last two hard nodes are 325 and they appear as "Deadly". I remember last time this event was run I already had a lot of problems with the KP nodes, but I guess I had one of the champed 4s in the roster and I thought the levels were ok, but now I think it is too much. Also, the first sub was not like that I think the max levels were around 280 so it looks like something wrong is happening here.

So If my average is 255 how can my enemies be 325, that is 70 levels more???? Is the same for you guys? Is the system using all my roster for calculating the difficulty in these two subs? Usually the hard nodes are 10-30 levels more, not 70. Is everybody having the same fantastic experience? Is this a punishment for something I did in a past life? Am I just to old for this ****? icon_razz.gif

    Avg roster: 255
    Hardest node sub 2(KP): 325
    Hardest node sub 3(Mags): 325

PS: This has been the worst PvE EVER for me, I have lost more than 5 battles, and I could not get all the CPs in the nodes. This is nuts. I will get to the 25 CP barely.

I Thought it would be a bad sub, but I've found Beast/Shehulk/Loki to be a great team for the hard nodes. Not ideal, but what is in this PvE?

I didn't even finish the 3 hard missions last night. They wiped She-hulk out before I even took out a goon. This scaling is just bad. I didn't think the first sub was bad but Subs 2 and 3 have just been crazy. I refuse to buy freaking healthpack.png for a single clear. icon_evil.gif

Sub 2 and 3 have definitely felt much harder than Sub 1 did.

Actually I find sub 3 much easier than previous ones so I should hit 25Cp reward. Yet being so high ranked with such a low score ... People really "love" this event.
