    As usually, I'm unrelated to the game... but... Wow Captain America Winter Soldier is good. About halfway thru you realize it isn't really a super hero movie as it is a spy/old school james bond movie.

    I'm seeing it with some friends tomorrow. Matt Fraction said it was his favorite Marvel movie yet, which is high praise in my eyes.

    Back to Alliance stuff, I got busy with friends visiting and fell out of top 50 for the Triple Edged PvP. Not only did. Miss out on one or two Moore 3* Caps, but now I feel an added sense of guilt for somehow failing the team. Still, we got one cover and 2000 ISO.

    Failing the team would require the team to have some degree of standards by which you failed... if we do, i'm kind of worried cause no one told me...

    I'm seeing Cap tonight after the family goes to bed. I'm excited.

    As to 'failing' the alliance, I'm just happy if we get the cover reward. It seems pretty easy when you only have to be top 250.

    Thanks for the random ISO, by the way. This Facebook thing is working out.

    I shielded in 6th with exactly 3 hours to go. Eventually fell to 10th, but the next 2 spots below me were shielded Euro's (based on their Alliance names). Someone came charging up to within a win of overtaking me at the end. Broke shield with 15 minutes left. Won 2 fights and apparently lost one at the buzzer. When the awards came in they were top 25. Where is the McKayla Maroney is not impressed meme.

    So who is everyone looking to level? I've just maxed my BP and I'm giving a serious look at BWGS as the next to level. The two of these guys cover the rainbow and dish out two of the most deadly team damages in the game. A sniper rifle followed by rage of the panther and it's most likely game over for any team. A third support character such as Spidey for the purple defense and occasional stun, or Hood for stealing could round out that team nicely.

    I'm still on the fence as to what to do with these new Gold guys. Thor is probably a better option than BWGS due to high health and similar team damage.

    I'm thinking BP, Doom, and Hulk. High HP and the good doctor can feed rage to BP all day. Hulk just because he was my first fully covered 3*. But, I've been using Psylocke a lot and really like her black and red. Kind of torn.

    I've got Hulk maxed and GWBS well on her way. Spidey is high level, but maxing him isn't as much of a priority with his powers. I'd like to get The Hood or Classic Magneto in the mix, but need more covers on both. Also, I'm oddly excited about 3* Cap.

    Facebook-linked users occasionally get the chance to share three extras of the reward from a PvE or PvP match with friends who play. It's not significantly game changing, but it's a nice bonus. I don't know why they haven't extended it to PC players.

    Be careful on who you level and how far. Some of the characters (Mags, BW***, and spidy) will be nerfed soon. Aside from that, think of how effective they are. My spidy sits at 110 because (well I don't have the ISO) at this level he does not override OBW's espionage, so I can stun, steal,, heal, defend, and deal massive damage when paired with punisher or wolvie.

    I've never seen anyone say 3* Black Widow is due to be nerfed. As far as Spidey, they'll change him, but they're not going to neuter him like they did Ragnarok. He'll still be a strong character in need of a respec at most.

    I saw the nerf list after the Rags slaughtering, and held off leveling Spidey and Mags after I came back from my "break" because of that. I'm starting to wonder if it was a psy-op of sorts to get people to stop doing just that and start to look at other characters. It's been over 2 months since the announcement and I personally have started to forget about these guys. I'm finding most fights with Spidey in PVP are increasingly easier. I think he is good in PVE against goons, but I'm starting to stop trotting him out unless it's the end of a tourney where people are looking for quick wins.
