So the team-up request feature breaks alliance chat pretty badly. Does anyone mind if we make it a formal alliance rule not to use it until they improve the UI, or at least not unless you have two players *committed* to filling the request immediately, thus clearing it from chat?

Personally, I think it's easier to just ban it for now, but I'm pretty annoyed about such a basic screwup from the devs.
  • I'm down with that. If someone specifically needs something, ask and we can accommodate, but that thing will destroy in game chat.

    That seems pretty reasonable.
  • I'm good with the ban. It's boy like I use TU much anyway

Sounds good. We won't go crazy, a few people are likely to try the feature before they realize what it does or see the latest thread posts, but we can have a unified front in asking them not to do it again.

I agree. Would use this feature only in an emergency anyway.

It sounds like almost everyone on Lollipop is. If anyone else is unable to play because of this, please let us know ASAP so we know you didn't just quit.

I don't see alliance chat anymore, but that seems to be a known issue.

That should be fixed by an update to R65. R65 updates seem to be safe except for some Steam users (be cautious, Steam bros). Updating to Lollipop before R66 is probably a bad idea.

(Or, hopefully, an R65.1 update for Lollipop support)

The chat vanished after I upgraded to R65. Which annoys me a bit, but I hope for a fix.

It vanished for me then too, but then I saw new messages from that point on for people who had upgraded as well.
  • Anyone heard any new news on a lollipop fix?

Nothing yet. They're gathering device and build info over here, if you want to add yours:

    Trying out the new sig.

    Is it too much?

    Thanks for making this, siebenvier!
  • Not at all.
Actually, while sizing, I kept in mind that some might want to have other things in their sig too. :]

    You're welcome.

So, we came in at #85 for season 8, but it was a bit butt-clenching towards the end, with some time spent in the 90s. Is it time for us to consider increasing our PvP minimums? We've always asked for 500 or higher, how would people feel about raising the bar to 600? That's a pretty common number among other alliances.

I'm not laying down a policy change here, just seeking people's thoughts for now.

I think that should be a reasonable (and manageable) figure. Members should have a decent roster thus far to reach (and stay) at least 600 without having too much trouble.
