I'm guess they change out in the next hour or so. I noticed the length of the event was 6.5 days so maybe they are making up those 12 hours today which is why this last round was 36 hours. I'll probably hit the new nodes tonight if they do reset.

I shielded at 935 points for #1 in my bracket for now. 2nd is at 913. Don't really care about Cap covers, but a green IW is appealing and its one of those thing where I hit 700 and I'm like I could push another 100 pts for 1000 ISO. Then it's like the leader is at 913 so what's another 100pts. Gonna have to monitor it to make sure he doesn't unshield and try to take the lead at the last minute.

Someone else must have had me in their retaliate queue and hit me...and lost. So I picked up a few more points to 648, which is still getting me top 25 with a handful of minutes left. Top 10 is 715 in mine, so I guess I could go for it, but it's a bit of a crapshoot so I'm just going to hold here.

Gratz on your top 25 finish j12601! It gets brutal trying to push up to 700. I was playing my son's account (venom8) and had a heck of time in the mid 600s. He still finished top 25 though

Looks like most of the alliance needs GSBW covers. Hopefully the new Cap covers will help you. I'm aiming for top 25 in First Avenger. I'll keep an eye on alliance ranking but I don't think we'll have an issue getting a cover based on the last few events

Got to 500 in First Avenger. Doesn't look like many in the alliance have done much in this one. Hopefully that just means we have some late starters. Points don't look that high overall beside shield which has more than twice any other alliance right now at 13k.

Nodes didn't reset tonight for Unstable ISO. Not sure what to make of that. Guess we'll get one more reset at noon to carry us to the end on Monday night.

I hadn't really started on Cap pvp yet. Just played a few games and got to close to 200, both in points and place. I'll play a bit throughout the day and work up a bit more. I really need some lightning rounds to drop my mmr. Keep getting fights I can win but not by enough that I can grind out a lot of them. We're at 118 as an alliance, with an average of about 160 a person which is far below our pvp averages lately, so I'm guessing everyone is just waiting until later today to play. I'd love to get some grey widow covers since it looks like she's the next pvp.

And yeah, S.H.I.E.L.D is up to 16k, still twice second place. Crazy.

I started an hour ago on the Cap PVP and made a berserk fuelled rush with Patch to 400. I only need 1 green and 1 pink cover for GSBW so I am aiming for 500 and then shielding up.
I am glad this current PVE is almost over, it sucks to receive no rewards for almost a week! I much prefer it when the sub events gives you a little something each time. I am looking good for top 10 around 45 000 at least, so that should give me all the Torch covers to experiment with

Played a couple more cap games and got over 300 which gave me the token, which got me the last yellow cover I needed for CStorm (still actually need another green to respec to the build I want),but now I should be able to actually finish her off once I get more ISO.

I'll probably play more tonight and try and push 600, though I don't know how likely that will be. But I do need the yellow Thor reward so that will be the goal at least.

We're top 100 now at 89, so I'd figure as the day goes on we'll lock in a GSBW cover.

Unstable ISO event... my bracket seems really tight if not a touch lazy. Top right now is under 40k, I'm hovering around 60th with 2k less. That's just going to be a push tomorrow night since I'd really like top 50 to get a 1/1/1 Torch going. If I time it right could probably top 20, but the difference isn't all that big in those reward tiers.

I'll probably aim to get to 700 or 800 in First Avenger depending on how the retaliations are once I get there.

In Unstable ISO I'll probably do two board clears tonight then wait until tomorrow night to push for top placement. Having a hard time grinding these out. Like you guys, I prefer the events with sub events for more rewards. Plus in this event grinding really doesn't help. If you're in top 250 range with a full stack going into the last couple hours you'll be able to slingshot in for top 50 without too much trouble.

I hate OBW.

Meh. Fights were ugly. Really need to drop my MMR. Every fight I was getting was 85/85 2 stars, or close to it, which is about where I can fight and win most of the time, but it leaves me in bad shape. Almost every team was a close to maxed 2 star team of Wolverine, Thor, OBW, CStorm. Ended up throwing up a shield at 542 which is good enough for 20th currently and should hold for top 50. I'll look for a few more fights and maybe break if I think I can line up 3 fast ones at the end to break 600. We're still sitting pretty at 38th as an alliance, I doubt we'll drop below top 50.

I feel your pain. Every fight was max 2*. I've never seen so many max 2* teams. This was basically a 2x2 fight with cap as dead weight. Not one of the more enjoyable events.

Yeah, definitely not a lot of fun. At least with the wolverine event I felt like because of the damage he was dealing fights were quick even if they went badly. These just drag on as most teams are running big fat guys, or OBW drawing things out. Oh... about to kill me in a turn with some abilities? Nah, recon. Heal. Recon, heal. Dammit.

PVP event ending in 5min. Alliance currently ranked 42, shud be safe for top 50.

I'm currently ranked 7 now, shielded but may make a last min push for top 5 since only less than 15 points separate me n 5th. For this event I tanked early in the event. Match ups were quite kind for me, thus easy to push to top 10, hardly any retaliations.

I pushed up to 609 at the very end. Prior to the fight I was 11th, so not sure if that was enough to break into top 10.
Didn't get my progression reward though, which was the reason I made the push.

And... looks like I didn't hit top 10. Probably finished 11th. Guess I now have to submit a ticket or something for my missing progression cover. Bleh. That event sucked.

On to Hollowpoint Kiss. Looks like Psylocke is the 3* reward! I need a few covers to finish her out. I like her abilities at high level when she was buffed. Blue isn't the greatest but red and black have good synergy. Now I just need to figure out who to team up with GSBW...

Unstable ISO levels are scaling up. Still doable but getting into boost territory. Hope you all can finish strong. Human Torch looks interesting. Low health but three offensive abilities. Should be fun to play with

I don't mind her covers but prob will nt b leveling her up further till I'm done with CMag/Hulk/Patch/Punisher. Need to save up on my ISO

Spent 20 minutes going from 200+ up to 23rd, playing the essentials 2-3 times, and the new one once. As long as I can do that again late tonight all is well.

Now to beat a low level seed team and get some tanking in on widow's kiss.

I think that's the best strategy. The winner of a bracket it going to be the one still playing at midnight EST finishing up their last node with seconds to spare. I had fallen far enough behind this weekend to get full 10x multiplier on Venezuela which made it worth 3000 pts. After 2-3 clears of the nodes I rocketed back up to 1st. There has been no way to build a substantial lead. With sub events you can grind them out so going into the last day of an event you can finish top 10 with minimal effort. However, in this event with only a main event running it's up to grabs to just about anyone able to play the last couple of hours.

Good work on the PvP guys, top 50 yet again! I took a different approach to this one and waited to join a bracket when there was less than 24 hours left in the event. Seemed to help get the more casual players because I charged up to 2nd place (675 points) without a scratch (1st was shileded at 920 so I gave up on that mission). Had a pretty comfy lead on 3rd so decided not the shield. Checked in again last night towards the end of the event and only got attacked for 15 points, still good for 7th. Made it into top 10 without shielding once (!) and boosted my GSBW from 1/1/1 to 2/2/2. Now she's ready for the new PvP, where I also need some Psylocke covers.

Anyone else nervous about the last 12 hours of the PvE? It's strange that they have 160,000 point progression rewards listed when even the #1 alliance's average member score is just around 47,000 each...

I'm worried that they're going to do something silly for the last 12 hours that will put the last 6 days worth of work in jeopardy somehow.
