Got 2nd in my Lord of Thunder bracket. This juggs heroic is kicking my **** though. None of those characters are ones I've leveled much.

I got hit hard overnight in the Thor PVP. I just wanted to finish top 50, ended up finishing 22...every team I fought this morning was mostly low level Thor and two 141's, all worth 40 points or more....I got to 22 and shielded because I was worried about those big guns retaliating.. Essentially I paid 75 HP for a Red Psylocke, 2500 ISO, and 100HP. I can live with that.

Congrats to everyone who placed high in the Thor tourney. I wasn't really aiming for any specific place but managed to get top 25. I decided against playing any last night so I just started climbing up from 130th place with an hour and a half to go. Only had 2 people hit me in that time frame so it seemed to work pretty well.

Gah, that stupid Thor event. I just wanted to finish top 10 for 2 covers, and I was easily on my way to a top ten finish (I was sitting in 11th), with 15 minutes remaining. Then the MPQ server I connect to decided to go down, and stayed down until after tournament ended. I just needed to finish one more fight for that second cover. Ended up finishing 11th for just 1 more cover. This game can be really frustrating, especially when stuff like this happens.

Oh, that sucks. I had problems with the server, too, and was just thankful I wasn't making a push for a certain spot.

Because I shielded for next to no reason, the outage didn't affect me. If I were trying for placement at the time,I would've been a bit upset by it though.

After seeing the stats Icex posted I was curious as to where most of us are located...if we have an international feel or are we more centralized...I'm in PA.

I ended up taking 2 hour leave from work to grind the LoT in the morning. Shielded at 5th around 9:30 because I had to get to work, ended at Top 10. I hate events that end at 11 a.m. CST (I'm in AR btw)

Yes I saw Jozier in my bracket and knew 1st place was out of reach, then you climbed to 1000 and I gave up on 2nd too. Fortunately ended up top 5 anyway despite not playing the last 30 minutes.

Those heroic Daken missions are a race to fill yellow and green while trying to minimize strike tiles. Gotta smack him (level 162, 6k+ health) with both and still needed red and black from Psylocke to down him.

Really don't want to hit a wall of 230s by overboosting.

Ohio resident here. So some of us are pretty centralized, at least.

There are a few nodes in the Heroic event that I'm looking at (Daken, Hood) and debating if I even want to put myself through those fights. Might just go back and play the easier rounds. Not going to be able to get a top prize at this point anyway.

I was actually surprised to wake up this morning (Hawaii time zone) and discover that I managed to get a Red Psylocke from the Thor event! Typically, I get hammered during the overnight hours here, with the close of events happening a lot between 5:00 am - 7:00 am for me. Still waiting for my first black cover for her, though.

I've been hearing a lot lately that it's best to let the "special" tokens during some events sit until after the end of the event to convert to a Heroic token. Is this what most of you folks do? I typically use them because there's that chance you get the featured 3 star without having to "compete" against the entire cover selection. I was severely let down the other day when I decided to by the 10 pack that had the higher chance of getting the new Thor, only to get absolutely NO Thor out of the 10!

Hood has been squishy at 64 for me. He dropped in 6 or 7 turns.

You can always try the Mags and Daken fights with 60% to all and 75% crit damage on the last cycle so as to avoid scaling repercussions.

Welcome Katai and all new members. Good luck in the up and coming PvE event, probably soon. We don't have any performance bar or requirement just play as you normally do or harder if you want...I probably will

There are no metrics show activity so as long as you show up every now and then on the forums we will know you have not died and/or stopped playing.

And as always have fun. I'm certainly not going to spend my cash cow on boosts to win some token that is probably going to be a Daken or Captain America. Its a game yo.

I think it depends on the token and what you can get from it. If the token only has a chance of 6 or 7 characters and you have all of those characters, then it's better to wait. I typically use the tokens as soon as I get them. I don't like the ten-packs much. Too much HP for what will probably be one or two covers that I can actually use. Though I have bought a couple of Villain lightning round multi-packs. At the time I bought them I needed every single villain cover, so I knew I'd be able to use every cover I got.

You're right, Hood was very squishy. Ended up not having any problems with that fight. Took a couple of tries on the Daken/Magneto/Rags fight, though. Finally used some boosts and was able to keep enough blue going for MBW's stun to keep things under control.

The only token I saved to date was the special one from the Hood tournament last week because I had him maxed and he was the only 3* available in that pack.

My luck is so atrocious in this game for tokens I open them and expect little, if there is a chance of getting something I need to for current event or something I have little of I will snap open it and sell those Captain Americas.

How many tokens have you guys stockpiled? The most I've been able to set aside before getting sick of looking at them was 17 Recruit Tokens. I have 12 stockpiled now...I think I'm going to let it go for a while. I rarely get anything from them these days.

Gives me something fun to do each day if I earn a few. Plus nothing untoward can happen to them if you use them.

Pretty much all my worthwhile pulls were standard tokens. They have given me significantly more 3*'s than heroic/event tokens. I know you get far more standards than heroics but thats just the way of things.

Almost at 100k ISO again. Probably going to boost up Psyloke so she can do some damage in the Jugg event with 5 black now, currently lvl56. Much better than wasting more on IM40. But ill do what I have to. Going to join it tomorrow morning, probably a mistake to leave it so late but meh.
