    Ya I defeated seed teams in at least 9 lighting rounds this week and didn't actually get to play in any, I wanted to play in a mag tourney but due to the time change none fell within a reasonable playtime. It was all during work or during bus ride home or once I went to sleep. So for the first 600 points I was facing 1* teams and only started to see higher rosters at 800 but still kept seeing modern storm on teams. So In essence I saved up all the non playtime for this IW cover and a good rank for our Alliance. Played in the middle of the night and 24 hour shielded and it worked.

    Its kind of annoying that to win, you need to game the system but if that is what you have to do...

    Going to take the Thor tourney easy, bank some hp try for 2 Psylockes minimum I hope. Not sure if I am going to run 141Patch or Punisher plus OBW for that. Going to avoid shielding if at all possible.

    Anyone on the forums in the alliance who is not on the main post, we will be cleaning everything up in the next while so post your in game name if I missed you.

    Well, I did manage to finish top 5, despite running into my first ever cheater. I'm not a sore loser, but this guy with a level 15 Psylocke, 25 Iron Man, and 16 modern storm defeated me 3 times in 10 minutes. I have no problem with lower-level teams scoring in the top 10 of tournaments due to MMR, but when someone is magically beating everyone they see in minutes, something is fishy.

    I reported him. I'm guessing a week or so to hear a response?


    Also: Great job guys on a 6th place finish!

    It's not so much your roster levels, though if you're facing high-level teams you should tank in an event or lightning rounds. My top ten included one player who had no 3* characters and no maxed 2* characters.     damn, 721 is not enough to guarantee top 10 in my bracket. after shielding, take my kid home from school. bam!! goes dwon to top 50!!! people shoot up in the last hour. top 10 got 800-900+ point

    Ended up slightly under 800. Lost 60 points in the last 10 mins from a retaliation and then a loss from some unlucky cascade . The number 1 guy shield hopped to 890 so I didn' t have a chance at the No. 1 anymore. At least I made him burn another shield.

    Plik fared better at 860 and got his top spot.

    I was surprised to see so many slot additions near the end. Thanks Sockid for the generosity. And now I have to be more careful not to hit a fellow alliance member. Sorry if I did, I wasn't dilligent enough to check all the rosters.

    820 was enough for top 5 in my bracket. This was actually the highest I've gotten in a PvP event so I'm pretty happy with the personal milestone! I only got OBW last week with the Hulk event and I can definitely see why she's a mandatory 2*. Carried the team so hard.

    Will probably also take the Thor event easy as I wouldn't be able to use my 2* Thor and I doubt a 20 BigThor + 61 OBW + 50 MStorm would get that high.

    I broke shield last night in the final minutes to push the 700 barrier, but got shut out of the top 10 and the second BP cover by a measly 10 points. 10th place had 710 and I ended up with an even 700 after getting attacked. The new award structure for places 11-25 instead of 5-15 really burns when you get 11th place, haha.

    Anyway, I just linked my game with facebook a few days ago, so I'm not sure how the whole award sharing thing works, However, on the upside, I have zero facebook friends (I made a special account just for this game), so I thought I would share with the alliance. My facebook email is marvelpuzzlequest@hotmail.com if anyone wants to add me.

    Do people have to claim the awards themselves, or are they automatically added to their accounts if they are my friend?

    hello, game name is calmmonkey. Ithink I got the last spot in the alliance.

    Finished with 891 (stayed shielded for the last few hours). last I checked I was 2nd in the bracket (got top 5 payout so didnt drift too far).
    have a few 100+ 3*, but also have a tanking addiction. I'd seek help, but I have been getting top 5 of brackets more and more.

    Found the alliance chat thread today and grateful to be part of the team.
    I usually try to make a quick push to 300 in most PvP tournaments, then take a break. I figure I'm not taking big losses at that point and help the overall scores for progression rewards, so ding me if you want to help lower my MMR. I'm starting to see a LOT of 141s in my nodes.

    Yeah, I'm using Lord of Thunder to lower my MMR, too. I fought my way up to 500 and then put in a tank team, so feel free to hit me if I come up for you, too.

I think I'm done with the Juggernaut heroic mode too, got all of the progression rewards and my 10000th cap cover. (this game has made me hate him). I don't have much interest in trying to break the top 100 in this one.

    I won't be playing much this week...birthday is Thursday and the weekend is loaded. Hopefully no alliance events this weekend.

    Happy birthday Bacon Pants!! And happy us, new owners of an extra BP cover.

    Tonight I was feeling sick (blame Dark Souls 2) so I went to bed an hour before the end, 4am here. When I woke up I saw some shielded winnings, problably finished near the 900 points mark.

    Anyway, as IceIX said in another thread, next PvE will have alliance rewards, most problably a new gold character, but whatever. So sharp your claws, shine your armors, refill your shooters, brew your cocktails and ... well, Magneto, stay un-nerfed, keep doing your thing.

    We currently have 3 non forum members aka lurkers in our Alliance. All forum members are listed on the main page.

    As such we would like to open up the opportunity for active forum members to join us for the up and coming Alliance pve event. Feel free to post on here or pm several of the commanders in one message, starred names on the first page.

    We are looking for more advanced rosters advancing to or already in the 3* range but will consider anyone who asks. Long standing forum members may have more weight but get no more free cookies than the others.

    Those spots will open up on demand so we are currently at 20/20.
