    Will I be able to remain in top 5 of my bracket? Will TerranDominion be able to remain in top 5 of the Alliances? Will players keep mistaking Bacon Pants for B4c0n M4gic and making his tank teams the most successful tank teams in the game? The suspense is killing me!

    Thanks a ton Sockid for all those new roster spots! Very generous of you.

    I'm currently sitting at 600 points, I'll make a last half hour push to ensure I stay in the top 10. Wooo, 3 new covers here I come!

    Damn, 5th place for alliances? That's awesome. Hopefully the devs tweak the rewards so it's not always split between first place, and top 50. Looking at the top team (S.H.I.E.L.D), I'd say they are likely to win just about every alliance tournament (walkyourpath, Nemek, theLadder, etc.). Would be nice if there was something better then top 50 for the rest of us to shoot for.

    I got called out on that before...someone thought I was the seed team. I never expected a seed team to be called Bacon M4gic or however they spell it. If I could, I would change my name to as close as the seed teams name as possible. That would really throw some folks for a loop!

    Heh. I can see it now; people emailing support because a "seed team" retaliated against them.

    So, just curious -- does anyone see any players in their brackets that aren't part of an alliance?

    Same, the top 10 players are all in Alliances. I'm curious to know if there are any brackets with two Alliance members in the top 10.

    There has been movement in my top ten. The player Human is at 10th now and he/she is not in an alliance.

    Also, there is apparently an alliance called "Alliance Name". Now that's creative.

    Mine is still eerily quiet with 2nd still 17 points behind me. I got some targets prepped, nothing juicy but it should make due. Gonna have to watch this closely.

    Some squishier teams I can shred running max boosts.

    I've been watching people break into and get knocked out the top 10 for the past hour. There's one player trying to make a run, but they have a mountain to climb.

    I was flipping back between my standings and the alliance ones waiting for 2nd to make a move, he never did despite aggressively shielding all tourney so I locked up my IW cover.

    Bad news is Retribution beat us in the last 2 minutes so we finished 6th. We kept trading places and were tied for 30 seconds as well. Very close. Good job all.

    The individual awards came almost immediately, I wonder how long it will take to sort the Alliance awards out?

    I already sent a ticket in regarding my individual awards...Only received 250 ISO and not the 3000 listed. The additional 5000 ISO from this event will help me gain two levels...Man are those high levels pricey!

    Not even sure I care enough to put in a ticket for that ISO, just happy I got my 4th IW cover. Everything went according to plan for once.

    You may not need to put in a ticket; they should realize it's a global issue and they should know who came in first.

    Got my top 5 reward (with the 3000 iso), still waiting for the alliance rewards.

    Ya I wasted that much ISO creating the alliance in the first place. I was testing out names and character limits and after finding out "TerranDominion" fit with no space I was going to check a few other names. This is on my phone obviously, while pressing delete I brushed enter and created an alliance called "Ter". Just ate my 2500 ISO no confirmation. Sighed, disbanded it and was super careful in typing from then on. Didn't care enough to complain about that lost ISO, annoyed but whatever.

    It's not so much your roster levels, though if you're facing high-level teams you should tank in an event or lightning rounds. My top ten included one player who had no 3* characters and no maxed 2* characters. A couple of things I've learned -- 1) don't join events right away; wait until the day before or the day of and chances are better of getting a less competitive bracket. 2) Racking up a good lead early and then keeping a shield in place until the end of a tourney decreases my stress levels a lot. Almost everyone is playing at the end of the tourney so it's much harder to gain points at the end.

    That's my go to, I try to get to 600 as fast as possible...sometimes I can do that in an hour. If I can get to 600 quick, I'll shield up and go from there. That's the only thing I stick too, I've joined events early and late with varying success.

    As for the ISO issue, I've never submitted a ticket and did so just to cover my butt. I assume that they will address the issue at some point in the foreseeable future...timeliness does not appear to be one of D3's strong points though.
