    We slipped to the 3rd page? Okay, time to bump the thread.

    So, any thoughts on lazy Storm team compositions? There does seem to be synergy with Black Panther but I'm not sure who else she would pair well with. Daken, maybe.

    I spent at least the first two months of the game playing mStorm/thor/OBW, it'll be just like old times!

    Shes probably abysmal on defense in pvp and in pve I will probably use my lvl 20 storm instead because of the cheaper mistress so yeah...

    Yeah, mistress at 9ap seems pretty high. Have to see how the powers scale up. The more I think about it the more I'm not sure there's a lot of really good pairings for her; either there's too much color overlap or there will be special tiles you don't want destroyed.

    Not sure how I feel about Lazy Storm either...at this point, if I had her maxed she wouldn't be in my rotation. I hope that they are done with the Lazy characters, but I have my doubts.

    Today was an interesting day in the game for me. All morning I was getting bad boards, still winning for the most part just with games taking longer than usual. Starfall has been a battle for me, around the 700 point mark I was getting hit repeatedly. It took me quite a few tries to cross that total, I'm shielded now at 869 and I am done...too many attacks.

    TaT has been absolutely crazy today...I think I had around 20,000 points to start the day. With the new nodes in the main and the end of the sub today I have just about doubled my score. Just an interesting day in the game.

    Time for Game of Thrones!

    It's always fun when the game actually decides to be ridiculous in your favor. I tried to beat the Magneto/Hood node a couple of times yesterday with my A-teams and failed miserably. This morning I decided to kill off a team against them. I took IM40, Hulk, and Patch since they were my highest health characters. What happens? I get a good board with very little red/blue for Magneto's low-cost abilities, then I get a green cascade on turn 2. I cast Beserker Rage, Hulk's anger is triggered, the resulting cascade wipes out Magneto and gives me enough AP to cast Beserker Rage again, which takes care of Hood in short order.

    Then to offset the scaling due to the ease of that victory, I went back and wiped out twice on that node . icon_razz.gif

    Almost killed a max hulk in pvp the other day with lvl 20 storm lvl 6 moonstone and lvl 15 daredevil. Would have probably beat the whole team if I had more health for thorns but was only able to use it 3 times. Used gravity warp to generate some cascades and moonstones black to chain stun hulk thor bp. Was pretty mind numbing but yeah. Should have brought someone who is not dd.

    I feel like battles are getting longer and longer. Like I can't beat as many people per hour as I used to. Everyone is full up on 9000hp heroes, and I'm attacking them with toothpicks.

    Yep, I'm working on maxxing out hulk just because in today's MPQ you can't afford to take that long to beat someone icon_e_biggrin.gif

    I'm always surprised that we're a top-10 alliance considering how little pressure I feel to do well (compared to some of the more... cut-throat alliances). Congrats all around icon_e_biggrin.gif

    I am just glad there is nothing ending today and I can take a short break. Maybe get myself to 300-500 in pvp tonight but no pressure to do so. I do need to finish in the top 50 tomorrow so that I can get the red cover i need for lthor.

    If you did not see my threat to bp in the new patch tourney thread I suggest you check it out. Im looking forward to that video. We can probably get one of the mods to sticky it if there are any mods left.

    I'm working on a routine.

    And yes, great job in the PVE everyone!!! I was stressing over my score, some of yinz brought the competitor in me out towards the end. For once, grinding was mostly enjoyable. A level 231 Hulk helps too.

    Also, hopefully nothing big goes live this weekend. Saturday I am playing in a mini golf bar crawl...18 bars with each bar building a mini golf hole somewhere in the establishment. This is our third year participating and every year it's a friggin blast. Sunday is of course Father's Day and recovery time for me.

    I'm going to try for 1000 tonight in the Patch pvp as well...that will probably be grueling.

    And the World Cup starts today!!!!!

    A bar crawl combined with mini-golf? Sounds like fun. I have a wedding to attend on Saturday, so I won't have much time either. Though the groom is a big gamer so he, at least, would understand me playing MPQ at the reception... icon_lol.gif

    I'm seeing the same teams in the Patch PvP... maxed Patch, cMags, and Hood. Sometimes Hood is replaced with LazyThor. This is going to be a little mind-numbing if it keeps up. I need to go tank and see if it'll help.
