  • As much as I love my friends in this alliance, the game just isn't fun anymore. I'm out. I'll keep playing in the PVPs and PVE until you find someone to replace me, and I'll probably post a Gen Discussion "Dear Richard" for catharsis.

Thanks for the good times, Terran Dominion gf-unsmith.gif

Gamar, I'm sorry to see you go. But if the game's not fun for you anymore, it's not fun. Thanks for everything and thanks for the offer to stay until we get a replacement.

Seriously, D3 has to address this. The game has lost too many good, veteran players to the **** that's been going on.

It will be sad to see you go Gamar, but I understand completely. The game has become more of a one step forward two steps backward situation. Every change seems to be for the worse.

I still wish they would give us more Prologue, or more like the prologue. Something that would give you the ability to take your mind off all of the **** that PVE and PVP have become.

I haven't been around as long, but I know you've done a lot to make this alliance competitive. Thanks for that, Gamar.

BP, I totally agree with you about the prologue (rather than just PvE an PvP. It'd be fun to get new dialogue and a fresh storyline rather than the same one being played out over and over.
  • Unfortunate Gamar, couldn't ask for a better member and unofficial flagship forum rep. I will make a recruitment post, one of the slower forum ppl only ones and see where that gets us. Let us know if you change your mind!
  • One of our longtime members has decided to throw in the towel, he is still participating until we find a suitable replacement.

At this time only active forum members may apply, you know who we are. Top 50 in both seasons, usually top 50 in PvE although we are taking the current PvE easy, participation not required.

Looking for an up and coming or better roster. Established two star or already into three star core. We require daily play, no minimum score in events but ask that you do join each one and try. Life, extraneous circumstances, bad cascades, they happen. We understand.

And most of all a good attitude.

Please either post here, or if you prefer pm all the commanders listed on the first page.

  • I am looking to join an alliance, I do play daily, i have 32 covers, i have 3 fully leveled 2 stars, and two more that are almost there, i'm really trying to grind to get the rest of them up there, I'm kind of a late night player due to my job, my season 3 score is a little low due to the last alliance I was in said we were taking it easy.....well i took it easy (which was good cause we were having a huge grand opening week at the hotel i work at in orlando) then i got the boot from the alliance and no reason why. on days i work i can get a good amount of games in after i'm off, and on my days off i kinda play all day while being a bum and watching netflix lol
  • I joined TerranDominion about halfway through Season 2 and can concur that they are a great group of players. I have felt zero pressure with this group, yet everyone participates and we have finished in the top 50 for nearly every event since I have joined. If you are looking for great alliance to join I would definitely recommend TerranDominion.
  • I'll mark you down to talk to later Nessah unless you joined something already :p, atm still looking for an active forum member to join, if we don't get any hits soon we will branch out a bit more and see what happens.
  • We don't have anyone rage quitting over the healing changes do we? Freaking in game alliance chat blows so I can't tell if anyone is angry!

I'm pretty pissed, but not quitting yet. Although I do have to say, with the new changes, it will look like I've quit because unless I play middle to weak squads and low lvl pves, my characters will have been killed off, and the next time they heal will be hours from now.
  • I can't imagine what I'd be doing if I was still relying on OBW. I know prior to getting good 3* characters she was the only reason I'd get anywhere. This was a really poor thought out decision.

A hundred different ways they could've dealt with Prologue healing, and they chose this one. Yikes.
  • I wouldn't say I'm overly angry about the change, but it is another step the devs have taken to make the game harder to play for some people. I never really used prologue healing but did often use OBW in the PVP climb to reduce my need of health packs.

I hate to say it, but I think I need a break from the game as it is more of a chore than fun anymore. I have a couple summer trips planned including camping this weekend. I'm pretty sure I won't have cell reception this weekend so I won't be able to play. I'm completely unmotivated to do PVP especially getting locked out of the last 3 tourneys. I may still do some PVEs but that may be all.

I've really enjoyed this alliance and understand that I will probably need to get booted so you can get a more active player. If it is helpful I can stick around until you find someone...I'll probably still be putting up at least low numbers.
  • I guess having a +55 voted green post on page 4 of the healing changes was ignored.

I don't use healers at all so not an issue for me. We have quite a few people on vacation/leave atm. I just got up, stayed home today sick. Still may top 10/20 the heroic but not sure, missing several refreshes id normally get while at work is bad.

I'm not angry. I just have a real life "bad cascade" so to speak. In fact, I already made some pvp adjustments that cut out most of my prologue healing.

Pve will be incredibly difficult as work has changed to involve a lot more micromanagement from above. If anything I need to make sure I don't end up rage quitting my job.

I'm still in. The healing change definitely has pissed me off, though. Since GSBW is the focus of the current tourney, I won't know the full impact yet until an event comes along where I would normally field her. My frustration, like many others, is that the change actually decreases my playing time, because I can't keep my characters "topped off" with one final heal at the end of the match with OBW or Spidey. I tried the prologue thing a couple times, but found it too tedious, so I never used it.

Rage quitting will all depend on how they handle the Magneto thing... Lol

Like many others in this fine group, I am so grateful I found you guys to join up with. I saw one of you in one of the FB MPQ site comment in one thread about being part of Terran Dominion, about how we have a no pressure group, yet we always do very well, and have very little of the quitting and drama other groups have. Even someone from one of those top groups commented that they noticed we're always up there.

I think that was me...I pop on there every once in a while. I decline all of the friend requests I get from that group though...I have Facebook trust issues icon_e_smile.gif

If you were one of those folks though, feel free to resend said request.

I pop in and take a look once in awhile myself. I have FB trust issues myself when it comes to linking the game there. As much as I wouldn't mind seeing what kind of "bonuses" they are, I don't like that the game/FB doesn't really link so that you can send requests/gifts to only those playing the game. It's really more about spamming friends not playing to start playing.

Was that you that commented to the dude who mentioned his alliance was falling apart, including the guy who founded the alliance?

I seem to have picked the perfect time to be away. I'm glad I didn't have time to do more than skim the forums. I'm not happy about the change to healing but it won't affect me much. I don't run Spidey or OBW much anymore and almost never used prologue healing. The thing that gets me is that it is not going to accomplish the goal of having players diversify their roster, not really. It's much more likely that players will just adjust their play schedule. But in any case, I'm not going anywhere. I am enjoying PvP events a lot more than PvE events lately but still having fun playing the actual matches.

I did link the game to FB but used my real account, so I've been wary of linking to any in-game people. The requests are buggy, it seems, because sometimes it just picks random people from my friend list (who I know don't play the game) and other times it gives me one specific person who it seems does play the game.
