I've been using Hood's black on Ares's Sunder. It's pretty Spicy.

No Alliance rewards for lone star since I checked last. Otherwise I'd have 2 Hood yellows and a blue to sell and a yellow im40 randomly. I miss the 25hp for 3* covers. Changed just when I started to sell them frequently.

Two of the alliance rewards just posted. Looks like we fell to 11th in the easy sub

Thank you for the yellow hood cover fellas! He's now a 2-3-1 build, it will be a while before I dump any ISO into him though. The only good token I got was for IW...third yellow cover for her.

I'm going to miss Dr. Doom. My BP is a level 20 with a 1-2-2 build...having 2 covers in black is good for 1300 damage with his buff. I'll be using that a lot.

I agree. Thank you everyone for working hard for the yellow hood cover. I personally have had serious bad luck pulling his covers. I'm scheduled to get one in the daily rewards tomorrow or the next day and I was able to get a few more recently, but he's still far from useful in his current build. He looks fun once you get his covers up though.

Had to retreat once in that lit round to get diabolical range go figure. Rag red was needed so that leaves 4 covers to go. All Alliance rewards came in I think.

Today's briefing.

11th in normal, someone jumped me with one minute left. 7th in hard, lazy to do 2 more 180-200 lvl fights for 150 points each. 1st overall with 109409 points, 2000 ahead of 2nd and 3rd place. I dont care for the IW cover but I do care for our top place in the alliance ranking.

Last night I got 3rd place in Hood LR so I was good with top 50 in the one star tournament to grab the final black cover. Near 540 points for that 3rd spot with 9th at 490, got retaliated for 80 points in the last ten minutes ... I would choose those stressful 10 minutes over one more lonestar fight any day of the week. I do care for our top place in the alliance ranking ( 11th ? ) but I do care for my sanity

The yellow hood cover was the last I needed so he's now fully covered at 5/5/3. I've been playing with him in the simulator and he's pretty fun. It's nice when you suddenly realize you have enough to fire off an ability without having made a match. I'm really looking forward to his yellow not ending the turn, too.

My BP is only at 2-1-1 right now. The next round is going to be interesting. Though the lazyThor round is going to be worse -- I only have 2 green covers for him.

Moral

The good:
The Hood is now 4-5-4 with a few more days to a yellow cover from dailys.
Thor is 2-5-5 and 94, so pretty good shape for the PVP and round 4
Black Panthet is 4-3-3 and 90, which is useful for round 3.
Vacation starts tomorrow.

The bad:
Easy sub is around level 160. Hard is between 200 and 230.

I really need to get off of the Spider-juice. Getting my 5th blue Hood cover should help.

I have 1500 HP and I was this close to buy a black BP cover for this round, 2/2/3 atm.

But I will use NeanderThor a lot more in the long run plus he has better synergy with M. Storm and desert stage. 1/3/3, green is the obvious but think I'm going with yellow.

This round is pretty brutal, like every node has a goon generating for some skill, its pretty frustrating. Out of health packs on just 1 clear of hard mode and most of my enemies are max level 110 or lower. Ill wait a bit to cool down before joining "easy".

I was lagging behind in the first round of sub events (25th), but I made up quite a bit of ground on this second one. Sitting at 7th Place in my main bracket.

Thanks for the yellow Hood cover fellas, I was only able to win a few matches to help contribute to that one. My top 3 one-stars are: level 15 Modern Storm, followed by everyone else who are tied at level 1.

Ugh. Decided to attempt Normal Mode tonight to get a feel for the battles. Made it through the regular missions, but the BP required missions kicked my ****. I think I'll need to resort to Spider-man for those missions. I'm also considering spending some HP and buying a black cover for him (only have the one right now).

I was actually worried about the Patch-Punisher-Doom fight, since Punisher has been my go-to guy, but I got lucky on that fight; it was pretty easy. I took Hood, GSBW, and Spidey. There was a bunch of purple on the board to start, so I collected all of that, generated some purple and some crit tiles, fired off sniper rifle a couple of times, and that was it. Spidey basically had nothing to do the entire battle.

That was fun. Then I went to play the BP required missions and got wiped out twice very quickly.

I just finished one pass on the hard simulator. One pass was good enough to be in 1st with 11855 points. I have been using Spidey pretty heavily as the majority of my opponents are close to level 200 or above. I decided to max out Ares as he has been quite fun to use in this event. I've paired him with Black Panther, having two characters deal team damage is very useful. Ares is putting out 1097 and BP is putting out 1533.

Dunno what I plan to do for this. Way too many alliance related things going on and I already have a max Patch. Definitely getting to 500 at least for the HP.

I am not sure what I will do in the Thor event just was getting some easy ISO now. I am only missing 8 covers from having them all and 5 of those are 4 star covers the others are 2 black panther, and 1 red gsbw. I am just so ISO poor it is not funny.

Wow I'm still in first by 7k from hours ago doing my rotations, 130k in the main. Have a member of 5DeadlyVenoms in my bracket but its been over a day since I've seen him near the top, right now hes at least 12k behind me.

I don't even think I want a 4th yellow cover for my IW's final build but its starting to look that way. Just keeping up my pace if at all possible will separate me further I guess.

And a cheater got sand boxed in my bracket it seems, been a while since I saw that. Sleep time.

Went back and made it through the BP required battles in normal mode. Bacon Pants mentioned team damage and so I took GSBW to a couple of the fights instead of Punisher; that helped. I'll jump into Hard mode tomorrow. Some of my enemy levels seem to actually be getting lower in Hard mode; I'm hoping that trend continues.

I'm currently 8th in normal and 27th overall with 116843 points; not too horribly behind the leader in my bracket. Should be able to make up a lot of ground tomorrow.

I played the Thor event, too; got up to about 300 points, which is currently good enough for top 10 in my bracket. I'm not sure how much effort I want to put into this. I could use Patch covers (especially the red) but it ends the same time as the subs and I don't know. I'll probably just try to rack up some points, put up a shield, and see what happens.

Moral

126k is good enough for 6th. Scaling got real ugly.

On the upside, 12 hours in and 21k+ added to the overall score. If this pace keeps up Red DD will be at the end of sub 3 and the 8k ISO less than 24 hours into the 4th sub.

Pleefs

Going through the hard simulator is gonna be painful for me, it seems. Got node 1 at hard with 141 spidey/143 brawler and invisible woman, then node 2 with 116 lazy thor/117 jugs and moonstone. I can only imagine what's beyond for me!

In the middle of a break while everyone heals, my current rank is 31 basic, 3 sim, and 40 (so far) on hard sim.

Also took a few fights in the Lord of Thunder to do my part for the alliance Patch.
