I didn't really use Spiderman in the last round, but his stun will definitely get use in this round.

Cool, I'll try that out. My CStorm is 70 so hopefully high enough HP without dumping more ISO.

1st 2nd 1st, out of health packs. Oh and 90th in the lousy 1 star tourney hah.

Most of my easy nodes are sub 100 and as low at 50 and most of the hard modes are sub 130 as low at 70 so my approach is working.

I'm finally jumping into the event. I'm starting right off with the big guy in the hard simulator...Thor and his two punks, he's 110 and they're both 109. I hope they like Dr. Doom demons to the face. The lowest level on the easy side is 89, I'll have to change my tactics a little bit or just go hardcore and rock Spidey until I'm tired of fighting 230's.

EDIT: Beat it with Spidey, Ares, and Dr. Doom. That's not saying much, it's a cakewalk with Spiderman.

Now this one with Patch...it's interesting....

Currently 4th in main, 43rd in Normal, and 15th in hard. Just waiting for my point totals to get a little higher in Hard before I play a few more rounds. I've been trying not to use Spidey too much, but after a couple of defeats on some of the nodes he got called into service.

I've been playing the 1* tourney tonight, too, and right now I'm in 2nd place with 349 points. Not sure if I got a quiet bracket or there's just not a lot of activity yet.

Seriously. The board was littered with arrows pointing left and right. I had a pretty beefy team HP wise and was able to withstand multiple Berserker Rage's. The extra strike tiles coupled with 6 Dr. Doom attack tiles sealed Patch's fate.

That about says it, Neo. That one is interesting, though. I fought it with Punisher, Hood, and Doom. Patch got off Berserker Rage twice before I was able to down him. By that time only Hood was left standing and he only had a couple hundred in health. But with all the strike tiles still on the board the goons were no trouble whatsoever.

Your simulator sounds harder than mine heh, my thor+goons is 55 on easy mode and 85 on hard mode. I blame spidey, if you use him you will be doomed to forever have to use him to win. Still 2nd 6th and 4th in brackets somehow and its been hours since I played any matches.

After the last round, I thought I was going to have a rough going this round as well, but my thor/goons round right now is at 50 on easy and around 77 on hard. Will hit the game a little harder tonight after work and see where it goes.

I have pretty much accepted my Spiderman using fate. That Thor mission is up to 105 in easy and 125 in hard...depending on the opponents I've been trying Daredevil out with Doom and Ares.

Also, I didn't realize until now that the 1 star pvp also has Alliance rewards. We only need to stay in the Top 50 for a Yellow Hood. I think that is doable, my one stars aren't great, I don't have anyone over level 40.

I've used 100 C. Magneto, 85 Ares and 70 Doom barring 2 fights. 70 Spiderman instead Magneto on node 04 and 141 Punisher,85 OBW and 50 M. Storm on node 07.

Right now I'm 33 in normal, 30 in hard and 2 in the main bracket. I' m going to wait to full rubberbanding before doing a second pass to avoid further scaling, that is until Doom nodes worth 2125 points in normal and 3000 in hard I think.

Tomorrow I'll unwillingly join the one star tournament, although I need 2 black covers and one blue to finish my Hood. I hated the first installment, the one with Psylocke as reward, hated it with passion.

Ya I got my first Psylocke cover from that tourney. I didn't even get one from the PvE event that released her, scaling was not worth it so I didn't participate in anything I would have needed to boost in. Ever since my PvE mmr has been low and I plan to keep it that way.

My one stars are 33/30/20, have about 200 points. I plan to get the heroic token minimum, but id rather have the Magneto purple heh. We are in the top 50 right now, but I will sacrifice my Mag cover if you need me to get you guys a yellow Hood. Cant really promise anything with my garbage 1 stars.

3 yellow Hood covers sold in the last month, so I got served. Grab Magneto, leave the tournament and never look back

Anyway, we'll get top 50 rather easy. If not, I'll push too until I pass out.

I'm done for the night in Simulator. I'm 12th in normal, 1st in hard, and 1st overall. My enemy levels range from about 100-130 in normal mode, and 130-180 in hard mode. Not too bad, really. Most of them are still doable even without using Spidey. I imagine I'll be relying him a lot more going forward, though, given scaling and that my BP and lazyThor are both level-capped at a pretty low level.

Good luck. Though I usually try to make it to 500 for the hero points, I don't know if I can do it this time. Chimaera, I say go for the Magneto covers, too. I think we're pretty safe for the Hood cover anyway, but if we miss out, so be it.

Spidey is going to do me in. Thor is only at 175 on hard. Jugs and a lot of others making the wall of 230s.

Good thing I have vacation after round 2. That and a lot of covers for Thor (94) and BP(77).

Ending for the night at 83000, 6th place. Doom is one of my beefiest characters just because I've pulled so many of his covers from tokens, so I've been going Beyonder-power all over Thor, DD, and cStorm

Oh god. Finally beat that Thor node on Hard (lv 77) with 125 Doom/65 MNMag/77 CStorm. Storm survived first CotS and got enough Blue to stun his ****. Tiles sucked hard post stun and couldn't kill him so he got out with 20 Green left . Storm took the big CotS hit and Mag lived at 88 HP. Finally got Demon off and killed Thor but Sniper got off a hit putting Doom at 150 HP (couldn't find Red match to put Mag in front). Luckily, they died pretty soon after thanks to Demons. That node is nightmare for mid-level rosters like mine. One thing I could've done differently is double checked which goon the green countdown belongs to and targeted him immediately after Thor.

My cover-capped 2/2 Doom was MVP for tanking hits and for Demons. Got the 500 ISO reward and probably wouldn't bother going for that node again so prob won't be able to hit top reward for me unless everyone else in the bracket also skips them.
