    Just playing casually today doing high point missions, tomorrow is for winning. 45 main, 19th easy, 5th hard, 4th NHB. Prolly do an easy mission soon, 19th is getting a bit low.

    Only 6k away from 1st in the main bracket so numbers are a little misleading.

    ARGH! I can't get past Hard Sim 02. I'm facing a 93 Daken, 94 Thor, and 95 Mags.

    I don't have a developed DD, so I have to use the level 71 DD provided. Any suggestions on who to use and how I might get past this one? My wolvie (5/5/3) and OBW (3/5/5) are the only ones I have that are "truly" maxed. The other possibilities are:

    125 IM40 5/4/3
    92 Punisher 1/3/5
    41 Psylocke 3/1/0
    34 Ares 3/3/5

    Ares and Psylocke are boosted significantly, though due to the buffs.

    One thing I might try is using modern storm (who I'm assuming you have) and IM40, using Mistress to help you get to the level 2 environmental power to fuel IM's blue

    IM40 + mStorm might work. Wolvie + OBW is a possibility, though I'm assuming you've tried that? Possibly IM40 + Ares? As for strategy -- I'd target Magneto first as you collect AP; kill Daken when you've built up enough AP down him; leave Thor for last but make sure he doesn't get enough ap for his powers. I also wouldn't use DD's skills unless no one else on the team uses that color.

    After getting two consecutive whipes from horrible green-purple cascades of doom, Psylocke and Ares were down with no health packs. I ended up getting past with Wolverine, Hood, stock daredevil and 9 buffs. (3 each of 10% damage to 2 colors. Had 30 each)

    I picked away at mags with matches and feral claws. I used adamantium claws on Daken

    I was lucky to get his strike tiles as matches as they formed, get out my own red strike tiles to block Daken from making new ones and low purple on the board.

    I'm not going back to that fight.

    Thanks mags, that did the trick! Went back to Wolvie + OBW. Turns out all I had to do was target Mags first. I have a habit of trying to take down Daken first whenever I see him so I can match greens more freely when he's down. I was getting so frustrated I forgot to simply try targeting someone else first. icon_rolleyes.gif

    Thanks all of you who gave some input as well! Now that and both simulators are done, time to help pump our points up! icon_e_biggrin.gif

    My nightly update...Currently 7th overall with 37,818 points. 7th in the easy simulator and 1st in the hard simulator.

    I can't say enough how great of a team buffed Ares and Psylocke are.

    Glad it worked, Pleefs. I almost always leave Daken (and Patches, for that matter) alone until I can down him -- figuring he'll just heal up most of the damage I inflict anyway.

    Bacon Pants, you're tempting me to put some ISO into Ares. Just recently got full covers for him but haven't leveled him up yet. I might do that just to try him out.

    I'm sitting at 36719 points in the Simulator. I'll probably play a little bit tomorrow morning but will do most of my playing tomorrow night.

    Top 10 in everything right now. Prolly no more tonight.

    Psylocke and Ares are doing work for me as well. Using Hood far less than I thought I would, but thats probably because I have CMag at 4/4/2 and he is quite unfair.

    Calling it a night for me here! At 7th, 6th and 8th respectively so far. I have a feeling Scaling will make me pay for it in the next round! icon_e_confused.gif

    Trying very hard not to go nuts grinding to avoid scaling. (Saving that for Day 10 icon_e_biggrin.gif )

    Big 3 point missions are about to refresh in both subs.

    Currently 1st overall in easy, hard, and overall with just over 47k total points should finish first as long as I do not get called in toward the end if the event. By the way I am in arkansas.

    Poached a few of the missions this morning just to keep my score relevant. I'm going to the Pens game today so I'll be hitting both Simulators this afternoon.

    Waiting for 2h before end before hitting everything again. Would've liked the 500 ISO nodes but they were being annoying so gave up.

    On a side note, anyone want to do the Facebook sharing thing? I made a new account just for MPQ and supposedly Support reset the account I'm linked to so want to see if this works. PM me if interested.

    They really need to implement that Facebook sharing thing to Alliances. Seems to me, it makes more sense. If the FB sharing thing works like it does from other games, you'll end up sending requests to friends that don't play as well, and I don't really care to spam my non-gaming friends. But I guess that's the idea, to "suck in" more potential paying customers. icon_e_confused.gif

    I meant that I made a new FB account just for MPQ friends so all of the people on that account should be people that play MPQ.

    Of course, sharing among Alliance members would be much better and hopefully implemented but in the meanwhile, it is what it is.

    I might look into doing the same thing -- getting a new FB account just for MPQ players and switching accounts in-game. I'd really rather they implemented alliance sharing, though. That would make a lot more sense and be a lot easier.

    I'm just sitting here waiting to start on the simulator. I was tempted earlier today to make a run for the red x-force cover in No Holds Barred but then remembered the subs ended at the same time and decided against it.

    Just hit 50k for the Daredevil cover (not that I actually care). I'm just hoping to get the 3x token early on (because they'll be impossible to get later on in the tournament)
