    Kidd - I just had some teppanyaki chicken rice with "fuji snow" (ice kacang). Damn full now.

    Hey all,

    Not meaning to cut into the food discussion, but I wanted to get your collective thoughts on the following:

    If you had all characters max covers and levels, what would be your killer duo team (trio for No Holds Barred & SHIELD SIM) when going for a prolonged push to the top for PVP? Keeping in mind that the team should ideally be a monster on offense and still be able to be decent (or atleast a scarecrow) on defense.

    My 2 cents:

    Previously the most offensive team was Patch & Cmags (for duo) and probably Patch, Cmags & Hood (for trio). I'm currently running in SHIELD SIM near maxed Patch, Cmags and BP (rainbow active abilities and only 1 (purple) tile colour not covered) but still getting beat down.

    With the new batch of heroes out, I dont necessarily agree with Sentry as in theory he's gonna hurt himself and his team so bad that you wont be able to push for long without running out of Healthpacks or going to prologue heal for every 2-3 matches. Of course if you use Patch & Laken with Sentry (like Pucco suggested) you only need to expand healthpack on Sentry but I believe not only will you still soon be out of healthpacks but PVP has a featured character as well that won't be able to self-heal (unless its Spidey, OBW, Wolverine or Daken tourney).

    So since the reign of Patch/Cmags seems to be coming to an end fairly soon, what would be your killer duo?

    PS: Feel free to add Mohawk Storm in the discussion as im sure she will be a monster. Heck, 1star Storm + OBW is already a huge PITA. Can only imagine what 3*storm + Hood/OBW + (Laken maybe?) would do.

    I'm running LT/Pun/OBW for Recon, Heal, Retribution and of course Thor's yellow and green. Not a scarecrow team but gets the job done for me.

    If I still want to push I when I'm almost or out of health packs I would use Patch/Cmag/OBW. Players tend to use Hulk/OBW/whoever as a defensive team... or tanky duo with Hood as third.

    Do appreciate your quick contribution, but I just wanted to say that the question was posed on the hypothetical basis that you have all currently known characters at max levels/covers (we do wanna continue to strive for the best combo after all icon_mrgreen.gif ) On that note, doesnt that team with lv85 OBW get picked on alot? I imagine you would keep getting the dreaded "youve been attacked" message.

    So unless your opinion is LT/Pun/OBW is the ultimate combination of all known characters in the game currently, what would your "dream team" be?

    Also keep in mind that twosomes are more the subject matter of my query as I'm wondering what are the "1 team fits all" composition for all PVP. Previously it was Patch/Cmags and (didnt matter who was the third). What would be the new reigning duo (if there is even any that could compare with Cmags/Patch)?

    Assuming cmag is nerfed to oblivion and off the top of my head, I will go for LT/BP/Hood while climbing. Strong on offense and defense.

    Last game I will put in a defensive team of Sentry/Hulk/LD. Hopefully, Sentry can get off one of his power and trigger Hulk's anger.

    Okies, so Lao's going for LT/BP/Hood for trio. Would you pick the same two out of those three for random PVPs? LT/Hood seems popular.

    If not mistaken Pucco or Kidd (or someone else) mentioned Patch/Laken/Sentry combination - with health packs used on Sentry only. Patch and Laken will auto heal. Patch is 5/3/5 or 3/5/5, Laken 5/4/4. I think Sentry is 3/5/5.

    personally never tried LT/Hood because I dun have the covers for them. But I fought plenty of Hood with cmag/patch and I still boost +3 Blue against a 141 Hood. A simple match can get screwed up and dragged out quickly if you don't deal with Hood quickly.

    Okies, Im amending my question to whos the best duo! No trio teams included. So no Sentry/Laken coz the third wheel (Featured PVP character) will probably die. icon_twisted.gif

    Best duo is the one Pucco hates - LT/OBW, at least for me. The other duo I run is Patch/CMags.

    I think Pun/OBW is better than LT/OBW. Need some strike tiles out there to maximize OBW usage.
