After the initial lack of success due to overscaling I fared surpisingly well, using all the forum advice and that levels drop by 20-30 I was up to #11 by the end and while falling like a rock without anything to do stayed in top20. That is much better than my estimate of 0 LT covers form the start.

Ended with 24k, seem all new PVE sets the last progression way below the final score range.

It was a good event for me, managed first place and pulled a red Psylocke cover from a token. Enemies levels seemed pretty low to me compared to the last several PvE events, so it wasn't such a chore. I also have a pretty high level Psylocke due to my irrational love of the Patch/Psylocke combo, so that helped a lot.

Yep, it's a good idea to level things only when you're about to use them for something. I left BP alone for now, guess wouldn't be really useful with 8 covers even if pushed to max.

You can play up some ISO in the LT tournament, while at low ranges play a bit, retreat some with trash team, play up again, get good ISO and work down MMR. But indeed hero LRs are due supposed to hit soon. Need to adjust again, last time didn't get anywhere despite having 4 heroes in serious levels.

Yeah, mine is around 60 2/2/3 I think and like her a lot, especially the black. Too bad the LT tournament finishes in work time, probably need to work to some unreasonable level and shield for 8h then hope it's enough to t5. Obviously black is on the top.

I got screwed by another midnight ending. i went to bed in 1st with a good lead woke up as a top 50 finisher. must have been some late night grinding. currently #30 in the LT PvP, but I'll start making a push later after farming some ISO in LR and Hero

6k points is easily gained in one refresh cycle so positions are shaky at best, all of them. Someone wrote up on rubberbanding recently, guess in the big jugs topic, worth reading. It matter really much that you play games at proper times and in proper order as the points gained will be different by thousands.

And without being there in the last refresh to me it looks pretty hopeless to get a top20. As it takes just 20 of the 1000 people to play in last hours, all too likely.

Scores are so much bunched together in Heroic Juggernaut you really have to play during the final hour in order to have a chance at placing well. Contemplating whether to skip round 2, given the choice between Thor and Psylocke I'm tending towards the former though. Seems to end at 11pm for me this time, so at least I'll be able to get some sleep.

Agreed. If I remember correctly, with only 10 minutes left in my bracket, the difference between #1 & #10 was like 200 or 300 points. I think I'm lucky to have finished in top 10 b/c I nailed a 160 pt node with under a minute left.

Also, do you guys think it's a worthy idea for me to sell my lvl 40 ** Thor for 5k iso? Not sure if I need him now that I have a few covers of *** Thor. Plus, I'd save 350 HP by having an extra roster space

Generally I would think it best to keep him because as it is on display with the limited pool in this Juggernaut Heroic event, you never know when it would be nice to have a particular champ. Just my opinion.

I'd try to keep him if possible, you never know when he's going to be one of the few allowed chars in an upcoming event.

I have a lvl22 old thor but will not sell him soon, the rear end of the roster has bullseye, bagman... He may be required for some fight or not replaceable. So sell is like last resort. 350 indicates a fairly short roster anyway, under 30 you better save up HP and expand.

If you play wise HP is still self-sustaining, especially with that many PVEs around lately.

HP-wise, I've been hovering just under 1000. I usually use a 3 hour & an 8 hour shield if I'm in a pvp bracket I want to place into the top 10. Still, I have dreams of one day spending HP to take my 1/3/1 Hood into 5/5/x territory. It will be a beautiful day for me & dark day for my enemies

Did I tell everyone the last time? You can save a ton of HP on shields by NOT going high soon. Use loss damping to advantage. Shielding at 550 is just waste. Sit at 400 and you will get hardly any attacks, and can go back in no time. And can collect 36-40 pts matches so it takes like 4 to get to get the mentioned point.

If tanking by retreat does not ruin your fun it's even easier: 20 retreats brings you down to fighting jugs and im35s or fragment-**s at most. Who will not attack even a 3x85 team. Especially if you post a good for defense team as you leave.

As for hood, he was winnable multiple times recently, probably will get repeats -- and you can get him in LR once you build up a single good villain -- I suggest mags -- just over 80. Direct buys are questionable investment. Read the 'mistakes' thread how many people list that.

Wasn't hit by this thing fortunately, it seems those who was late only by seconds are not involved.

The new run looks like the end of the old one with the levels I could manage. Will rumble around a little as my power palette boost appears full.

I can't believe my eyes. Got C. token in hulk LRs. And it gave me a black Hulk! And on top of that, the gray token from the same LR gave me a green Patch. Didn't see any of those since whatever.

My patchie finally broke out of level cap and got the yellow over the spidermen I messed up leveling to 90. (Say goodbye to my ISO reserve but good riddance. )

I'll decide where to level Hulk later. Now I take a breath and eat something finally. It was an intense 1.5 hours, had the #11 most of the time, while #8 was just ~20 pts away it never got closer.

Got extremely **** boards twice, second time got robbed 3 times by OBW and they used a Rose too but brute force ruled over eventually.

What's not to love in Lightning Rounds? After each round I'm able to level my 110+ heroes (well, Hulk and Punisher) 1-2 levels.

Really enjoyed the BWGS round - as I couldn't use OBW, I went with Hulk and Punisher. Boosted, they are almost unstoppable. Not to mention that I grinded the whole LR (2nd time in my MPQ history) and was attacked only 3-4times. Hulk got his last 5levels, so he's 115 now (I still lack 1 red + 1 black cover), and I was able to finish in top50 - another +1000 ISO (500 ISO + 2x heroic tokens).

As for Hulk round, I quickly grabbed all the ISO from seed teams, leaving one 1lvl seed team for the end. Then I put on my tank team (Yelena lvl1, BW* lvl1, Hulk lvl15) and took the last fight, which took ages to finish. Got hit around 10-15times.

...And while the Hulk LR was on, I was able to get from around 300pts to 792 in the Lord of Thunder tourney. Couldn't reach higher due to low health and no health packs. This puts me #2 (27pts loss to #1), with 144pts above #3. Shield is on, I count on some lucky defensive wins.

12 more mins and I'll repeat the drill like in the Hulk LR. Then it's time to bed, I don't feel very well today. Shame that the Punisher round is once again either 2AM or 2PM. They should rotate the heroes a little. Will wake up 6AM to do some more grinding, then I'll at least start the 8AM LR and off to work. Then, depending on my GF, I'll probably be AFK for day or so.

How are You doin in the tourney and LRs?

Hey, couple quick question guys. I was thinking of playing to place for a courageous with my 89 Iron Man 3/3/3 and my 53 Hulk 4/0/1 using OBW to heal on the way. I'm currently #2 in my bracket.

1st: Do you think I have a realistic shot at getting at least a top 25 finish?

2nd: Is it best to just keep fighting as often as possible or should I wait a while and then climb up for a top finish?
