I see we're stable around #13 and that looks fair enough. With 700 average we'd be still just 2 places up, with the bracket for 50 I see no point for the trouble. Ego-boosting? Think we're a fine group free of minority complex so our egos are cool without boosts. So I suggest everyone to relax and do only what makes perfect sense or feel good. Our alliance top50 is in the pocket. We'll be stable top10 in a few weeks anyway. 1st rule of MPQ: be patient.

I just climbed to 600 pts, good for #9. 750 would be #2. I hear over 700 serious struggle starts without much progress.

I'll sit here for 1h at least -- had no attacks recently but expect retals from last games and lost OBW on the last match (fight against IM40 for a change, rare matchup, get a board with 30+ yellows and about 5 matches that I can use in the first 15, all in different colors. Just couldn't get over 6 of anything until lost some 12k sum of health... and my Hulk's anger messed me up completely, the strike tiles were finely matchable, until it was processed. multiple times. honestly didn't think I will win at all, just stood with ~300 in two guys.

Wonder if I'll see a single team without OBW not likely.

As I said earlier in my first post, I have some HP stored (little over 2k) so I can spare 1,6k for the alliance. I'll still have some left for shields etc.

Currently sitting shielded #6 with 712 points but will try harder because it can be not enough to stay in top 10. It seems I'm in a tougher bracket than you with Bugpop over 900 at #1.

After a small setback climbed to 720 not really planned as it's still early for the 3h shield.

The top is way higher than I ever seen. Possibly they changed the point loss damping a bit, I gained more points on retal round even over 600.

What implies it may be actually feasible to try that 900 point for the HP grab. prev tournaments 720 was good enough for 1-2, now it's #6 at -4h and would not bet on not falling out of top10. Our #1 sits shielded at 1050.

I'm skipping people in top20 alliances no need for excess heat.

When you get a 3x141 team and 2 more skips provide similar I duck and cover. As last match finished was thinking about that 900, no way.

Ah, it seems I was too greedy. I was 1 fight from reaching 900 and getting into #2 when suddenly after a won fight I saw a dreaded pop-up with about "-100" and I went down to #7 with 770. I shielded right that moment to secure what I have left and then few more fights showed up on next screen. Ah, I don't want to try anymore. Going to bed and I hope I'll stay top 10. #11 is about 250 points behind so I think I can make it.

Edit: Nice, just got 17 points for defensive win and that got me to #5. I'm sure I won't stay there but my place in top 10 looks a little bit more secure.

Alliance rank really adds to the game - it was a blast watching as our points go higher and higher. There was a time when in 45mins my fellow scAvengers got more than 400pts . For some of You it might be "phew!", but I didn't expect that much dedication.

I think every alliance above us that I looked at had 15+ members so it shows that pound for pound we pack some serious punch.

It appears that the scAvengers assembled ready to lay down some justice and I had a blast tracking it.

Good work people, we well overshot my best estimate of 10500.

I got the top5, shield report a +5 and 2x40-ish dent from 500 people, they stash battles for really long. I saw someone climbed just over me and shielded in 20 minutes but below no more climbers in T10 at that time.

i generally finish top 50 in all PVP. would be top 5 but since they go til midnight i get screwed because i have to be up for work at 2 am and sheilds don't keep me from getting passed by others. right now i am #3 in Hulk. my new favorite team is spidey, c. storm, and MN mags. spidey matches purple for mags who makes critical blues for storm or spidey. then heal on the last man standing. cleans up real nice. lookign forward to this alliance
