Pushed IM40 to 70 but got bad board on debut. Those 4 counters get placed at hopeless sopts and lazythor creates way too few greens despite buff... guess those who spent on captain fare better, I still refuse to spend iso there.

You've got Astonishing Wolverine at max level, pair him with Iron Man 40, they work incredibly well together. Recharge will fuel Claws and Slash, Salvo is a bonus. Thor is mostly playing Bagman, soaking up damage whenever possible. Never mind that you haven't got any use for Purple and Black, matches will still do good damage thanks to strike tiles. Managed a full clear that way with health packs to spare.

As I don't have Thor, I use other heroes.

Wolvie 85 obviously, his strike tiles work really well. and if You're able to get to 12red, it usually means 1 dead enemy.
IM40 lvl 55 (I planned to level him anyway) for recharge and once in 100 battles for his blue power.
Storm, still very effective, even if it's not the Jungle / Desert map. First make some Strike Tiles with Logan, then use her red with bonus damage from strike tiles, then use Hailstorm - once again, combined with Strike Tiles deal good dmg.

For battling solo Jugger, I switch Storm for BW and keep on stunning the sucker.

Won the first Thor mission on the 4th (maybe 5) attempt using Thor/IM/MBW (recon teams issued psylocke, wolvie, mstorm, all did some good but best result was killing jugs with no team left to speak of then swallow a rocket).

Got completely hosed on yellow and blue so Thor eventually fell to tile damage and headbutts. Enemy at 112 with 8+8+4k health.

This time the AI preferred Jugs crash half the time over rockets. what unfortunately not much better, lots of damage+cascades into red.

Thor happily soaked up the last headbutt having just 2HP when recharge finally worked, from there I could keep up with stuns and 5-6 red beams tore the enemy apart. Too bad Thor was not around to use the ton of greens.

Behind them I see the hood party at 130 and the other laterals are still 160, see no chance at all. I think after lazythor recuperates I restrict myself to the first few nodes and just kiss goodbye to more *** covers for the time being. Maybe round 2 will be more heroic than suicidal.

6323pts for our Alliance, we're hanging between 14-16place. That makes 430pts average per member. And I see that someone is grinding right now, as the pts are slowly increasing.

In the Jugg event, I have been using IM40 (75), The Cap'n (41), and Wolvie (38). They are working great. Captain directly downs the countdown tiles with maxed blue and red, IM40 recharges both those colors and green...which wolvie swoops in and uses to create strike tiles. Thank God that combo is doing it cause the only others I have in this limited roster event are Hawk and BW Mods.

I usually focus the people with countdown tiles first who can't match tiles, and then go for the heroes because lots of times the heroes match their allies tiles. Plus the result of a countdown tile reaching zero is usually worse than what the match making characters can do. Do you guys think I am doing it right or have any added thoughts?

As for Fearless Defenders: if You're be able to reach top5 in Your bracket, that basically means 3covers (obviously), but the total of 5000 ISO and 200 HP. That is quite a lot. Reaching top10 is only 500 ISO shorter. Keep on grinding!

Currently we're at 8200, but the points are fluctuating up and down (mostly up, about 400-500pts in the last 2hrs). I assume we won't make it into top10 (1200pts gap). not that it matters more than ego-boosting reasons

I'm shielded #1 with 768pts, top 6 in my bracket is shielded, hopefully till the end of the tourney. I'll wake up 15mins before the end though (4.45AM...), just to be sure.

8200pts excluding mine gives an average of 530pts per member, which is very nice and shows Your commitment.

I'm currently the last member of the alliance and it shows my status as pending. I'd love to join. I'm currently in 4th in my fearless bracket at 770.

I'm normally a top 50 finisher in most of the things I enter. I've been playing since day one, which according to S.H.I.E.L.D resupply is 145 days.

I've got 29 total characters, My highest are:
IM40 - 141
Punisher -133
BWGW -117
Hulk -100
Cap, Storm (classic), Thor (now), Wolv, BW (orig) - 85
