Interested. I work as a paramedic so appreciate the scheduling idea. Currently 139,000+ in current pve and top 16. Want top 10. Need an alliance top 100. Dmcarson same as in game. Depending on the pvp reward I generally aim top 2 if not top 5 or 10 and get it.

As allies, we can use this to coordinate our efforts - just in time for the summer vacations. Our rivals will use this to take advantage of our weakened position.

So where are we now? Eight Seasons in. We made top100 EVERY durn season as a team.
It's rare nowadays, but we are one of the originals... one of the original alliances back when it was max five slots and they did nothing.
This is CareBearStare... borne out a philosophy to play well, be decent, have fun, and to be awesome to each other. We started out as casual as can be... and what happened? We won. We hit the top100 and we stayed there. We even hang out with top50 and top25. We never had to make bunch of rules and requirements and minimums... we succeeded without them. We communicate, we listen, we actively manage the team. We want our members to evolve and get better. Contrary to a lot of complaining sentiments you hear from others, we actually like to play the game and to win. No drama, no whining. We expect all bears to understand the responsibilities involved with a top alliance, as well as reap the rewards of a top alliance. Stare on.

How's it going, bears? I've been enjoying a season of putting in very little effort. I've still played every day, but sometimes only a single match. I just got a bug up my **** the other day to try to earn my 10 pack from season progression and hit 4000 season points tonight.

I didn't come even close to earning an Elektra cover and Luke Cage will be the same.

How do you guys feel about a lot more 4-stars being released in the upcoming year? Personally it just seems to me like an even more sustained increase in effort is going to be needed to keep up with the level of competition, not to mention ISO.

We're doing OK... good squad this season. We're always ready to make room if you get the itch again.

tsk tsk... DD... trying to get me to relapse...

I'll have to see how these new shielding mechanics work before I decide if I want to dedicate a lot of time to MPQ again, but it's definitely a consideration.

We have a good roster right now. We don't have as many heavy hitters as we once had but the mentality of the group is aligned well (read: We have a good group of people here). I think Duck just wants someone to challenge him a little more in PvP than Evil Panda, Pallmall, Dlawilliams and myself can currently. That's a roll you filled nicely.

Come back if and when you're ready. We'll be here.

Trying to figure out what happened... did I get removed from the alliance accidentally, did I get sandboxed, or did the alliance disappear unexpectedly?

Either way, I'm not in an alliance at the moment.


Edit: Nevermind, after a little while, and logging out and back in, I am back in the alliance with no action taken on my part. Strange... but glad to see it resolved.

I've had this happen a few times now and from what I've heard I still showed up as a member of the alliance even though I couldn't see it. I think it's a server/client sync issue.

Makes sense. This is the first time I have seen this issue, and it caught me by surprise.

Glad to be back with the Bears.

Luke Cage: As I was on my own at this time I and not playing a lot I didn't really get many covers for this guy but he does seem pretty good. Both black and yellow can hit pretty hard and the reliable protect tile is a nice bonus. I'd go 5/3/5 I think.

I was lucky on his PvP event as I had 9 (3/3/3) covers for him already and at level 114 so boosted he was 171. I think he has great value for 3* and 3* to 4* transition players that have xforce. His value comes with that protect tile always being created. Most level 166 3* were doing only 1 point damage on match 3s and that really protects your team. It is also a massive deturrent for attacks since battles will take longer so he is excellent on Defense. He has a rare yellow ap attack that does some serious damage so I'll go 5/5/3 with him.

I really hope they re-work the progression rewards for PvP sometime now that they changed the shielding mechanics. It's ridiculously difficult and expensive to get the high tier rewards as it stands

On the other hand, my mid-range play has me saving more HP than I used to. It's like a conservative bank CD versus wild stock speculations. I'm not suggesting which one I prefer though...
