Great job on Fresh Cut - like, as good as season 7 stuff. Keep it up and I'll be all "top50 alliance, yo!" and that kind of talk will surely bring ruin down upon our heads!

Congrats on crypto for taking the alliance gold. Heartbreak, he lost his attempt to run to first place in his bracket.

Thanks, DD. I still got a fury and three blades out of it so not too bad, will see if my stamina will hold out to try for a Thoress progression in this next one.

My wife has been battling a head, sinus, and chest cold this week, so I have been the primary caretaker for our 2-year old. This leaves me precious little time to grind on the PvEs as much as I should be, so I apologize for letting you guys down there. I have been pulling my weight as best as I can on the PvP front, so don't fret, as I am not leaving us out in the cold there.

Also, on the PvE note... the pace at which they are coming at us is starting to burn me out on the constant grind alongside being a parent and full-time worker... if this keeps up, I may need to take a PvE vacation for a short time to recharge my interest, lest I burn out on the game entirely. I am still enjoying PvP greatly and intent to continue to perform 700-900 results as best I can.

No new character reward
Experimental time sharding
End of the season PVP rush
PVE overload since last week.

Hopefully not forever, but I'm taking a sabbatical over the next season and during the holidays. Busy times in RL world, lots going on which is great, means less and less MPQ time daily. On the positive side this alliance has never had any pressure to perform outside of what's doable to keep the alliance ticking along, but from a personal point of view I feel it's only fair to step aside and let someone else in to enjoy the Care Bear mentality.

I pushed hard in the 1st Rocket & Groot which then coupled with busier times and what's felt like a non-stop grind since then has really pushed MPQ down in my entertainment desires.

I'll apply to the Cave to go hide with fellow burnt bears and re-evaluate after the New Year.

DD - let me know when you're ready to release me!

Well, the ongoing mad recruitment rush by all and their great-uncles certainly makes it tricky to stay on the first page. Any thoughts on the next PVE? Who the last new character of the year will be? If Loki will be un-nerfed in any significant way? I never got to play with original Loki. I'm a vet but not that much of a vet...

What about all the celebrities that post in the "Looking for Alliance" thread... you know the type... "I score between 1500 and 2000" and "I have all max 4* covers" and "I'm looking for an alliance that'll take me..."

Dudes! You can go to ANY alliance you want. Don't suffer the indignity of filling out a job application like us regular bears.

Sounds like the last new character will be Elektra, if the leaks are anything to go by.

Kamu, I wish I'd gotten to play with old Loki. Forest Fire sounded awesome.

I like the Gauntlet, so this should be a nice fun PVE.

I hope Elektra has a new color combo, but I somehow doubt that she will. Maybe she'll have synergy with the redesigned Daredevil.

It's been a fun trip but I've gotten to a point where I'm not enjoying myself quite as much with this game. I'm not going to be playing much at all going forward so I'll be dropping out of the alliance to allow someone new to join so you can all continue as a top contender.

Also retiring. Gonna miss you all but far too much real life going on to make time to play consistently, and if I let myself play "casually" I will be back to playing too much by the end of the week so making myself go cold turkey.
