Only the "Featured" ones. Like, Hulk is going to be a good number of Quicksilvers and M. Hawkeyes no matter what, but the other filler will change.

I do wonder with post-event Vaults, that lets say you were very determined to get a Jean Gray cover, specifically, and can reset the Vault infinitely by looking away and looking back.

Normally, her odds would be a fraction of a percent out of a normal Heroic token.

But if you keep resetting the vault until there's 2 Jeans on it before pulling, you can get a Jean Gray at 2/80 odds.

This seems like it might be kinda broken/abusable, not to mention not very fun to partake in.

The opportunity cost of the time you wasted trying to get two JGs in the vault means that very few people are going to put in that kind of effort, especially since they get ONE kick at the 2/80 odds and then they have to keep vault-cycling until another good % chance comes up for their next token.

If someone really wants to abuse the system that badly, they could just go grind novice nodes for 1 point each and win every PvE event too. The only reason to shut this down is if the vault-cycling causes heavy server loads, otherwise let people desperately cycle vaults for a 2.5% chance at the cover they are looking for (2/80). Especially since the number of times you would expect to cycle a vault to get 2 of a specific 4* would be brutal.

You get a 1/23 chance of the first 4* being the one you want, so about 4% of your vault cycles will contain the character you want. Then about 4% of those times you are going to get a second copy. So about 0.2% of the time you will get both, so you would need to cycle the vault about 529 times (give or take the RNG) to get the two covers you wanted. Then you've got a 2.5% chance to get the cover, if you fail, you have to cycle the vault another ~529 times to take another crack. By my estimate, you should expect to cycle the vault ~21,160 times before you get the cover you were looking for, assuming it takes on average 40 tokens to get one of the two covers.

It gets much worse if you are looking for a specific cover.

IIRC, you would be better off with a live vault containing only one cover than to make 40 attempts at a series of off-line vault containing 2 covers (which is about what you would need to expect to be more likely than not to get the cover you are looking for).

So yeah... HUGE exploit. : )
