  • 42...not the answer I hoped for...

No KK, no DP whaling...and all strategies lead to ruin. If I leave GR too long, penance stare destroys me. If I hit too hard too early, X-Enforcer is awful. And KK is healing and saving her green to finish me when it's down to just her...
I may not finish the Gauntlet this time.

I used Cage/Fist/Hood for that one. With Fist generating black, Hood will almost always trigger on it, making it harder for GR to build up enough AP for Pennance Stare.

Used 310 OML, boosted 240 HB and Champ Hood. XPool is first to go denying purple along the way. By that time I had gained so much Black, R, Y and Blue that I flipped OMLs switch and made short work of KK and GR.

I skated through with cmags, patch, loki. Boost to attack and shield asap.
Thanks for the the hint! I was nearly despairing of that node but with that team (even though my Patch & Loki aren't maxed out) it was quite easy.

Same here. It felt like a joke, that's how easy it was. I am annoyed with myself for wasting health on them earlier

Simulation 38, switch iceman MohStorm all 318. Murdered my strong mags/Loki/patch team that had been doing so well. Suggestions?!
Might have just been bad luck. Otherwise, I got a lot of mileage from the Cmags or SRSS, Grocket, and Mohawk combo.

I hate to point out the obvious, but Mohawk is not possible on this node, as she is part of this node. I have tried a number of combos and if I manage to take out Iceman, then Switch stun/nukes me, and if I take out Switch, Iceman stun nukes me. Sigh.

    All level 318

    Help!

If you have a Prof. X with 5 blue Gsbw/ProfX/3clops works well

Cmags, QS & R&G - got it done for me

I am likewise at 318 with this node and stuck. They are destroying my teams. I do not have ProfX at a high enough level to help, unfortunately, and so far iceman is just so big a threat... sigh. I tried Cmags, QS and R&G but Iceman just has so many colors you need to deny.. ugh.

EDIT: HAH! (High pitched squeal erupts from me) YOU CAN JUST GO (*^&*&^ YOURSELF Iceman! And you too Scarlet Witch! And Storm, well, I like you but you had to die. Beaten and bloodied, but no one dead: Cmags (262), Punisher,(210) and Grocket (201). Basically it was Retribution that saved me. I was able to get enough up front damage from Polarizing Force, Magnetzed Projectiles and Blammo We got ya to get each of them in range of Retribution. It was close because Storm got off her black and I did not have enough AP to clear the board with Polarizing Force but again, I got Grocket up front tanking and then just ticked away on her till Retribution range.

Any suggestions for Node 42 with my current roster? Hood/KK/LCap got me through most of the gauntlet, but with Kamala in the last node, that's not an option here.

I got that one on my second try with the often suggested here Patch, cMag, Loki. I killed DP and KK and did about 16K damage to Ghost Rider in one turn. Loki just destroys teams this Gauntlet with his purpleflag.png thanks to 200+ Patch strike tiles.

If I could find you and kiss you I would - got it with my second attempt with this combo

I found the real power to be patch green followed straight away with Loki black - those attack tiles ripped them to shreds

First time finish of the gauntlet main tree - just the essentials in global to do

So far with very few exceptions I have found this combo to really work well, with only a few notable exceptions. And some of that might be because my patch is not maxxed out.
It's a very powerful combo and with mags he can do board swaps with blue and board shakeup with red and then loki also has board shakeup with purple, it's a great combo.

Indeed - all 3 for me are fully covered but I only have them to level 120 - realising this it's an extra pat on the back for getting it done - the final 2 essentials are all to do...

On a side note the final node was only 310 and has just moved from hard to deadly

Last gauntlet I had 2 5 stars characters with a couple of covers and the final nodes were 365.... Got rid of the 5*s and much better scaling

EDIT: with the scaling - my comment is taking into account that I have 10 champions - with the 2*s at 110 and I also have 4 more 4*s

Need some advice on last Rocket & Groot node : Wolverine/Deadpool/Venom.
    I keep getting slaughtered!

    Got it: KK/R&G/Cyclops 2x 2AP Red/Yellow 2x 2AP Green/Black and OBW purple team-up.

I don't know if it was bad boards or the wrong 3rd character but finally beat 41 with Iron fist/Patch/Loki. Problem was Loki was getting killed before he had enough black to switch Things yellow defense tiles. IF sped that up nicely.

Just completed the Gauntlet for the first time ever. Lvl 352 championed boosted Iceman with KK and Hulkbuster for a lot of the nodes - though I did use XF Wolverine, SWitch, & Iron Fist quite a lot. Used SWitch to boost IF's purple, created black, & used XForce to murder them.

Lvl 326 nodes towards the end - not too much of a problem with blue & green boosts.

How about some help with node 35: LVL 293 Kamala Khan, Cyclops, and Loki. Difficulty - My Hulkbuster is only LVL 92. Any ideas? Only maxed 4-stars are 4-star Wolverine, Invisible woman, and Devil Dinosaur. All others are 150 and below.

What teams work vs GSBW/BP/Hood. (1st node on final branch). I've wiped about 7 times. By the time I'm getting Hood taken care of GSBW wipes me out.

I'm down to one node which is continually kicking my butt. It's the Grocket essential node with Deadpool, XFW, and Eddie Brock. I've tried it with CMags/Mohawk and with LCap/Mohawk so far. If I pop a hailstorm to try to help take down Deadpool, Venom comes by and slaughters the team in a single blow. I haven't gone as far as super whaling (I did use one on the Jeanbuster/Thor node, but I've got enough DP points I supposed I could do that), nor have I used +all damage boosts yet.

    Suggestions from my roster?

From memory I used hulkbuster as a meat shield with Cmags

I went with Cage / Rocket / IF

Deadpool first, collect Purple / Blue, tank with Rocket whenever possible. Strike Tiles + IF Attack will chip away quickly, and Rocket should be able to take one of Venom's green then heal. Cage black to stun in a pinch.

I've beaten it with IronFist/ Quicksilver / Someone boosted (Magneto, iirc). IF/QS combo allows to do just incredible things sometimes, turning your moves into semi-winfinite. Purple to black, black to purple/more black (or match BP's strike tiles), focus on Hood and try to deny black and yellow.

This was my final node as well and Venom was my real fear here but I beat it on the third try (Can't super whale this node as you are fighting deadpool).

The trick here is using Grocket's Blue to get those high strike tiles out then use a low cost ability user (I used Quick Silver and his Fists of Fury) to fire as many small attacks as possible.

I would recommend Hood as third character to deny Venom from his ridiculously OP Yellow. Also his intimidation helps Grocket's Blue go off without issue.

First time I've ever done a clean sweep and the highest 4* of value I have is my 120 Proff X so I'm really happy with that. Every other time before I've usually not made it past sim 38-40.
