    I just used Patch, Antman, and Iceman, although Iceman did not contribute significantly to the match.
    Basically it was Small Time Crooks to steal the two tiles every turn, plus any purples from Berserker Rage. Pym Particles helped by filling up the purple tiles to make Berserker Rage even safer.

    I've always had difficulty identifying the essential characters for the next PVE from the gauntlet.

    If you were wondering like me, my heroic venom tokens were updated. Essentials for Heroic: Venom are X-23, 3*Deadpool and 2* Human Torch.

    39 is just kicking my butt. I'm out of healthpack.png. Jeanbuster is just brutalizing me. I've had horrible starting boards or the AI cascades into green/purple/red.

    I miss the old boosted Mags when he wasn't such a damn wimp.

    I managed to get through it (just) with CMags, Patch & Hood, but was also out of health packs by then. I concentrated on downing Jean first, while trying to deny/prioritise green/yellow/red/black.

    I've been using Loki from Sim 39 to 42 (except 40) and the Cmags and HB essential nodes. His abilities have been a real lifesaver.

    At least twice i can recall, the opponents had enough AP to fire off one of their big hitters but i kept firing Loki's purple and it got me enough AP to take down the character before the AI could fire his ability.

    His mischief has been managing their Ap and his black has been converting Black Panther, Daken's and Blade's strike tiles into protect tiles.

    Punisher has also been a big help with his red at 5.

    Any tips for the last r&g essential against venom, dp, xforce? I don't have a strong 4cyc nor jg which someone else used here.

    This one was a nightmare for me, because of absolutely terrible luck. Eventually I figured out to use boosted OBW, cMag and Patch. I also used Kingpin's yellowflag.png team up, but any team up that generates strike tiles would work, or just a high single target damage nuke to kill IF faster. The idea is to extend the game and to deny yellowflag.png and to collect purpleflag.png and redflag.png while slowly killing IF. Obviously use OBW's purpleflag.png at 3 covers to steal AP (once they have at least 3 AP in the colors they use), and then her blueflag.png so she doesn't die.

    Once I had enough AP to kill him, I made sure I can destroy IF's attack tile and killed him with Patch's redflag.png and greenflag.png. That's when the game speeds up and with no AP they couldn't do a thing. Obviously if you can kill IF without creating a bunch of enemy strike tiles, then killing his strike tile is optional.

    My second time running a gauntlet event. Couldn't finish the first time.

    - CMags and Loki have been a powerhouse combo throughout most matchups.

    - I am also finding that the old 2* strategy of Thor, Storm, OBW/Mags works nicely now that my 2Thor->3Thor and OBW is boosted. Storm's aoe + targeted 4 turn stun is just so powerful on some of the nodes. She's a great way to deal with dangerous passives or characters in general.

    - My HB is still new and not nearly as strong as my CMags.

    - My highest boosted chars are 245 CMags, 241 R&G, 240 HB (undercovered, mostly used as a meat shield)

    This Gauntlet seemed a lot easier to me, opponents lvl capped at 326 where previous ones were 395, thanks D3!

    Thank you, that was almost too easy for such a hard node. First try and took like 300 damage on Loki.

    Got through Global Domination, only Grockets last node still remains to be cleared. Hardest nodes were the ones I had to do w/o CMags. Mags and Loki together were mvps. Loki, Patch and Mohawk did wonders versus Thing, Blade and Magneto. I gathered 30 black and cut Patch loose. icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Thanks for the the hint! I was nearly despairing of that node but with that team (even though my Patch & Loki aren't maxed out) it was quite easy.
