Day 186

Up to sixteen 3* champs. My next real goal is to champ the remaining 3*s who get 2* rewards so that those rewards don't go to waste. That means lazyTorch and lazyDaken are both up next since I am holding some covers for both that would take me to the next champ cover reward. Hopefully can get both done in the next two weeks.

After that I need to champ 2*Hawkeye and 2* Wolvie which will leave me with just a couple of 2*s left to champ (Ares & Bullseye). Doing all that should take me 3 to 4 weeks. I'm hoarding all standard and heroic tokens until I finish champing all the 2*s and relevant 3*s they feed into so when I am done with that I should see a big jump in roster strength.

Only thing that would change my plans is if I manage to somehow get two more covers for Switch which would move her immediately to the front of the line for champing since I really like using her.

I would probably just keep adding the champion levels and accept that sometimes you sell 4* covers. You can wait as long as possible to apply the 3* if you think you might champ the 4* within a month, but if not, it's just nbd. Think of it as like getting an unusable 4* from a heroic token: irritating not to be usable, but at least it's extra iso.

I already got 300k iso saved, so I hope this week I can get the final 100k so I can finally champ my PH. After that I will probably level Punisher, Quake and Peggy in two steps. First level them to 170-190 and then 270, so at least if buffed I will be able to use them in PvE.

The other option is completely forget about 4s, and after PH start levelling SS (even though he is the lamest 5, he is still a 5...).

I think Punisher, Quake and Peggy can complement perfectly the duo OML+PH in different circumstances so I guess I will level them until I get more Spidey, GG or IM46 covers...

In the long run I'd rather build up a strong deck of 3*s first as well. It's just one 4* cover, and mostly non-critical 4*s like Mr Fantastic and Starlord. Who knows when you'll be able to champ the 4* in question, or if you even want to? One cover loss, then the next is a long way off.

Playing pvp/pve consistently earns a lot of cp - to build your 4*-5* roster you need to open lts - if you open lts you are bound to get unusable covers. The end.

Current Project
I'm back to banking CPs because I don't want to chance opening more Phoenix covers that I would have to sell. I've been opening my Latest tokens as I get them. I'm not sure if I want to max out Phoenix at this point with OML only being 330 with 5 covers. I'm just going to bank the ISO for now.

Changes since last time:
I went ahead and used CP to finish off my Rulk so I could use a cover I had rotting to champion him. I was also able to get another OML cover and a cover for Phoenix to change her to 3/5/5. I've also been focusing on getting more of my 3*s champed. I've done 6 so far with 6 remaining.

Current Project
I'm just banking ISO and CP at this point. I'm sitting at 100K ISO and 275 CPs and 8 Latest LTs. I'm focusing on saving ISO for both Quake and working on those remaining 3* Champs. I plan on holding my CPs until next season to get a shot at more Peggy covers.

In a few days 3* Deadpool will become my 19th 3* Champion giving me some more flexibility on when to use Whales in events. In 4* land I now have 213 covers spread out across 34 characters (everyone but Devil Dino). Antman pulled into the lead this week with 12 covers and Xforce Deadpool is still dead last with 2 covers. I have been leveling up characters to allow them to beat their Crash but I am now also leveling up well covered 4*'s so that they will be 255 when they are boosted for Story mode events. The current short list is Antman, Kingpin, Hulkbuster, Iceman and X23.

In 2* land I started rebuilding Magneto to rechampion him in an attempt to get more 3* covers to get him to 183 and get my 5th Professor X blue cover. In 2 weeks I've pulled 8 blue, 2 red and 0 purple. It looks like that will be a slower project than I had hoped.

Everything changed since my last post. I got my 12th Kingpin but I also got my 13th Hulkbuster and I realized that Heroic Dark Avengers would put IM40 to 183 giving me a 14th Hulkbuster.

All ISO went to Hulkbuster to get him championed and as of today he's at 271. That made this seasons simulator the easiest ever. I'm getting attacked much less frequently.

I realized that I was going to have to sell off 6 expiring beast covers and that was really bothering me so I sold off 2* Torch and Ares so I could champion Beast. I will rebuild and rechampion them for the extra covers but as a lower priority. 5 more Rags covers give me another X23 green so this works out in the long run.

2* Mags is rechampioned but when he hits 144 again I'll still need 7 more 3* Mags covers to get my final Prof X blue. I will just keep working at it since the covers show up randomly but semi frequently.

My Heroic DA vault token yesterday gave me my 13th Scarlet Witch cover so championing her to get her colors fixed is my next top priority. After that I think I'm going to take Kingpin and Ant Man to 255 then look at the 3* characters again. Looks like in the long run I'll need them all championed to start getting better rewards from Versus mode.

Notable Changes over the past 4 months:
1) Increase in number of roster slots: 77 to 87 over 120 days, that's 1000HP spent every 12 days on average
2) Increase in number of 4* characters, covers and levels: 19 chars, 102 covers and 2037 levels to 27 characters, 162 covers and 2791 levels. Gotta thank championing for giving me so many LTs.
3) HUGE improvement for IMHB: from 2 covers at lvl74 to 13 covers at lvl258. Even I'm shocked at this.
4) Finally all 4*s rostered: 4 months on from this post, I finally rostered my first cover a couple of days ago. My holy grail indeed
5) More 3*s maxed out: 15 maxed out to 26 maxed and championed. 14 more to go

Can't say I'm disappointed with this progress, not when my IMHB literally went from zero to hero in 4 months. Let's see how this pans out in the next few months (if I'm even here by then)

Notable Changes over the past 45 days:
1. Increase by exactly another 10 roster slots, mainly due to my Pokemon syndrome kicking in after getting so much HP from blowing up the Deadpool vault.
2. Surprisingly, my rate of 4* acquisition has gone up. Average of 1.31 days per cover gained from days 869-915 compared to 2.08 days per cover gained from days 744-869. Of course, championing started during the timeline of the first period which I can't remember when, so this point is probably moot. Need to compare again during my next update.
3. Number of 4* covers from first 744 days: 102. Number of 4* covers in the following 171 days :193. CPs and championing have really sped up the transition, though I still suck.
4. First 4* championed. Am nowhere close to my second.
5. After more than 4 months without a single cover, I added another 4 covers to him in the span of 50 days. Makes me wonder where the hell he went after his release.
6. I'm slowly but surely reaching the end of the 3* tier. From 26 championed to 32 championed, with to be added to the list by tomorrow. Just 7 left to go after that.
7. An old issue mentioned to death, but cover acquisition rates is really damned imbalanced. In the past 50 days I've added 11 covers to a championed while poor has just one solitary cover in that period. Where are the covers that actually matter?

Short Term Plans
I have no real urgency for 4* levels given how most of the characters that actually matter are unusable in their current state, therefore the plan is to max out every single one of my 3*s before moving on to 4*s, so that no DDQ reward goes to waste. I'm still considering whether it's worthwhile to max that 2* and solely for the champion rewards, but as it stands, it's highly unlikely that I'll be touching them unless I run out of usable 4*s to level. In fact, is going to be a greater priority than those 2, if only for the bragging rights for having the only champed bagman in my entire alliance lol.

Long Term Plans
Since maxing all those 3*s is going to take a bit of time, 4*s belong in my long term plan. Leveling priority goes to in this order unless i can get more covers for the better 4*s. and gets no love despite being maxed covered since I can't justify maxing 4*s I rarely use considering the cost and time it takes to max them out. Once those 4 are maxed (which won't be anytime soon) ISO will be saved until I can get a good 4* with at least 3 covers in the powers that matter. 5*s is probably going to take a backseat unless I accumulate a boatload of ISO while waiting for 4* covers to drop.

Notable changes over the past 55 days
1) Just 3 more 3*s left to champion. Am currently torn between championing them, or saving the ISO to level up my 4*s so that I have a chance to clear their DDQ. I have 200k ISO on standby for now, waiting for my decision when I eventually get the covers for my unchamped 3*s.
2) A few of my 4*s have unknowingly crept into at least slightly usable territory if I decide to level them up. Notable ones include (3/3/1 to 4/5/3) and (1/4/1 to 4/4/1). Then again, the 4*s that actually matter in PVP ( ) are still nowhere to be seen.
3) 248 covers for 4*s in total compared to 200 on day 915. That's 1.07 covers per day, a drop from my previous update. Mostly because I don't want to stress myself up going for 1k points and watching myself keep getting hit over and over again (like how I did to get my 13th DP cover), but at least I'm still at 1 cover per day statistically.

Notes over the past 40 days
1. Number one most notable change is that I've finally gotten every single 3* championed. Finally not a day of DDQ will be a wasted cover
2. In between day 1000 and championing my last 3*, I've also somehow managed to champion my second 4*, . Not a real top tier by any means, but he has true healing and pairs well with 3* , which was why I decided to go for him. I had a ton of fun with that pair during the Ultron run.
3. From only three 5*s on day 960 to a total of 7 on day 1000, though all but one of them are at less than 3 covers so they're still pretty much useless. Still, it's nice to see a variety in my roster
4. Now that I've finished champing my 3*s and officially moved on to the 4*s, my 4* roster is shaping up pretty decently. Leveling up a few of my better covered 4*s ( ) has allowed me to do better on the 4* DDQ on this current cycle.
5. Started selling my 2*s for the ISO, in part to complete my . Now the dilemma is whether to restore them back to their original levels, or keep the ISO for the 4*s. Not really sure if there are any 4*s worth leveling for me now. And nope, I'm not selling my 6-pack of , as I like to rotate my teams around for every DDQ match, and I've grown pretty comfortable with these teams
6. 278 total 4* covers rostered. Considering just half a year ago I'm at 102 covers only, the growth has been immense.

It's been a long journey, 1000 days is no joke considering every other game I play never last me more than a month. As a mostly F2P player, I can't really hope to compete with the whales, so all I can do is continue chugging along and trying to earn those covers.

I will have the ISO to champ Miles Morales this week. After that, I'll bring up Drax a bit. Once that is done I'll have all fourstars with enough covers at level 180 or greater, so I suppose I'll just hoard my ISO after that and see who needs it.

Six seasons ago:

"This season" plan checked off: Now down to five non-champed 3*'s (SG, QS, DocOc, Psy, Sentry...who I expect to max as next 3*), finished five more since last update.

"Next season" plan checked off: Pulled that last Cyc and another couple - maxed him as my fifth 4* champ.

"Two seasons from now" plan underway: Pushed 3/3/5 FalCap to 172 for his DDQ (next one) and 4/4/4 MrF to 172 (in about 12 days). Next season I'll need to bump up a couple of other 4*'s to 172 to make them more easily DDQ'able, their turns are coming up [current can get to 172 and are lower: Rhulk 152, X23 111, Cho 74, GR/Iceman/Nova/Venom all can go to 130-140 and all sitting under level 100].

I've had enough KP and Carnage covers to max them for several seasons - but still hoping for more Rhulk or DPXF covers (have 11 of each), so I'll push them to 220ish first to get them ready to go. Depending on who comes up as 3* essential next season, this may happen towards the end of next season.

Debating about moving my 1/5/1 Phoenix to near the 360 level cap, that may be the "two seasons from now" plan. Best 5* by far (5/0/0 SS, thanks there RNG) - neither are really scary enough to level as a scarecrow. Did pull a Spider-Man 5* champion Vision the other day, so now I have five 5*'s rostered (no Goblin) and all are level 255, there they can stay for now.

Five seasons ago:

3*'s: Maxed Sentry at beginning of season expecting his PVP to come up - it did. Maxed SG with her DDQ came up, expect her PVP next season. Maxed Psylock when I drained a Taco Vault that included her. Only have two 3*'s not champed: QS/Doc Ock (both at 140, ~60K ISO to hit 166).

Previously at 172 or higher: SL, PX, KP, IW, Elektra, Carnage, Ant-Man, Fury, DD, Jean, Cyc, Thor, XF, IM. That's 23 that should be able to DDQ...no coincidence that it's everyone introduced before championing, where I cover-maxed them when pulling the early LT's.

Lower that 172: Miles (3/1/1) Venom (1/1/5, maybe could DDQ? 156 max possible) Nova (2/3/1), Two or less covers for Gwen/Quake/Punisher. Six that can't DDQ so far, all sitting below level 100.

5*: I reached year two and finally got a non-black SS! Now 5/1/0 and 1/0/0 SS's...yep, pulled a SIXTH blue SS before getting any other covers. Also luckily pulled Green and Red Jean. She's at 2/5/2 and I moved her to level 300. It would likely be best to get her to 350+ as a better scarecrow, but I don't want to waste some upcoming 4*'s.

Next season: I champed into my 12th Rhulk cover and drained a DDQ vault to hit my 13th Rhulk cover. Looks like he'll be coming up as a reward at the end of the season, I'll be working from today forward to max him. I have DPXF at 5/4/3: frustratingly tossed out
his red cover that was rewarded this season and another red cover that 3*DP champed into - that's five reds I've tossed. Today pulled day 744 purple drop to go to twelve covers. Thing is at 3/4/5. Both of these characters will be priority after Rhulk is maxed, all three (Rhulk/DPXF/Thing) rewarded the one cover I have five of last time they were 1K rewards...so theoretically should be able to use their next reward. It also means this update will be very, VERY short over the next few seasons.

I'm also hoarding CP and LT's until at least Rhulk and possibly one (if not two or three) of these other 4*'s are maxed. This will continue unless a new 5* makes OML/Phoenix draw % go down.

Four seasons ago:

DDQ progress: took Venom to 172 and Miles to 131, won both. Debating about taking 3/3/1 Nova from 70 to 152 to give me a shot for his DDQ - didn't fail any up to this point but Nova will be the last one I have a shot at winning until the repeats start. Two seasons ago the goal was get most to 172 to make them win DDQ's - on that goal I was quite successful.

4* progress: Rhulk done (172->270, first event next season will probably reward the LT extra level). Thing went from 172->230, event giving another cover should come near end of next season and that's my priority. DPXF after that (currently 172), 12 covers and 13th cover should come middle of (two seasons from now).

Hoarding started last off-season to stop wasting so many 4* covers, now at 10 LT's and 248 CP - awaiting word from D3 about when new characters get added to see when these get pulled. Still champing 3*'s to first 4* cover and tossing them - Gamora and Grocket both hit 183 this week, two Starlord covers got tossed.

Three seasons ago:

I pulled my LT's, worried Cap/IM would lower Phoenix chances. I've gotten her covers in batches, a couple three seasons ago, a couple two seasons ago within a few draws; and three in five draws when I pulled LT's (rostered a 2nd copy before I pulled the 13th cover). Had Thing coming up in PVP, daily drop, and had pulled a cover - finished him first then put every drop of ISO into Phoenix until this morning. Started season at 300, ended season at 450.

4* champs: JG/HB/Cyc/Thing/XF/GT/Rhulk.
4* other: Fury @ 210. Dino @220 (both 13 covers, started leveling before flood of 4*'s)

These will stay here for a long time - I won every DDQ up to Gwen, and I'll start leveling these in three seasons or so as their DDQ's start to approach (if I get more covers for some!)

2*'s rostered: everything but bagman again, since I haven't been shield-hopping (easy 1K, impossible 1300) and had plenty of HP. Now I'll be hopping again I guess so I may start selling them again. Only 1* Juggy still.

Next season: Ice-Man priority one, need to try to get him from 172->270 before his PVP cover comes up. After that DPXF and/or the final two 3*'s.

Two seasons ago:

Ice-Man was priority one, DPXF was priority two, last two unchamped 3*'s (QS/Doc Ock) were priority three. Sold Ares to make it to DPXF in time (had two covers in queue); all four of these are champed going into next season.

5*'s: finally pulled/rostered a GG, a 2nd BSSM cover, and hit daily reward OML to at long last go 1/1/1....no added levels in this tier

4*'s: Maxed DPXF, maxed Ice-Man (both from 172). 172 GR went to 13 covers, Gwen now could move to 172.

3*'s: Maxed final two (QS/Doc Oc) 30 now at 183 or higher (+5 from last season); none yet at 200.

2*'s: Sold Ares and re-started, all still rostered except Bag-Man, only three currently past level 15.

100 roster slots (+4, GG/Kate/Moon Knight/spot ready for Peggy).

One season ago: Despite hoarding LT's, found three KP's in queue - champed him from 172. Re-built Ares, level 0-102 ("only" 21 covers in the season...). Found two Fury covers in queue also, but didn't have enough ISO to champ him. Tossed other various 4* covers. Moved Miles from ~130->172 and moved Punisher from 70->172. Hoarded LT's and hit 1300 most events - 13 LT's, 574 CP (last off-season was 4/82). 101 roster spots (rostered bag-man, only missing Hulk in 5*)

5*: no change.
4*: Champed KP, Miles/Punisher ->172
3*: 10 195-202, 14 190-194, 8 185-189, the rest 171+
2*: All rostered (Bag-Man added), Ares back to level 102

Next season: "Hoard ISO to 300K, to be able to champ a 4* if I have a decent 13 cover one and no boosted 4*'s that week."...that was what I wrote last season, and would love to do it again, in hopes of opening the LT's and not wasting a bunch of them (like if I open six Nova's or something else decent that has 13 covers).

But then with the KP/Fury piling up on me while not opening LT's I realize there is no chance of not wasting tons of covers, ever. I'll open the latest (probably 14 by that time) on Monday - waiting for Peggy to get into them. I may wait until Iron Man is in classics before pulling CP - I see some with all the 5*'s using IM (for more health reasons?) as their go-to, and I have two IM covers along with three OML covers, so almost might as well wait (and hope they don't continue to lower OML's chances with each release....).

Will likely move Gwen to 172 and may have enough Quake covers to move her to 172 as well: that would put all the (predicted) DDQ matchups to 172 until October. After that will prep to max Dino, possibly save to max another 4* first but always have enough to max Dino when his event comes up mid-september.

Off-season update: Quake did get enough covers, 172 going into season XXX. Tokens rotated and pulled 13 latest to try to get Peggy 4* and Tony 5*

Ok, so 2 months have passed since last check-in. As far as my previous goals:

1) Got my Hulkbuster up to 250. Just waiting for that last cover, which should come soon as my IF is at level 182 (one shy of HB).

2) Championed my first 4* with 4hor! I was very excited about this as it was a long time coming. For my other 4*s I wanted to get to 200, Cyclops is very close (197 at 5/4/3) but the rest have been a bit slower.

3) Still undefeated on the 3rd cycle of Clash of the Titans, though I had to bring Flaptain up to 180 to do so. Biggest test will be coming up soon with Mr. Fantastic (5/1/4 @ 130, really hoping to not put more ISO into him).

4) My IM40 rebuilding project is going well, just need one more cover to be cover-maxed. Champing Hawkeye was a big help with this.

5) I got one more cover for OML, so he's now at 2/2/2, but I've kept him at 315. Now have at least one cover for all 5*s except for Hulk.

6) Still no 4* covers for War Machine, Winter Soldier, Spider Gwen or Kate Bishop.

I now have OML with 5 covers and up to 310. I will probably keep him there for now until I have a stronger roster of 4 and 5*s. I'm getting more use out of him for PVE now than PVP - though admittedly I really flaked on PVP this past season in general. He did help in my final push for SIM last night to get the Drax cover - but used him with Iron Fist and Scarlet Witch, so I was still a pretty easy target.

I'm one cover away from maxing Hulkbuster - I have since gotten him up to 225 and will continue to push him up while waiting for that last cover (which better not be red for the 8th time ).

So for ISO, here's my current goals:

- Get Hulkbuster up to 250. If I get that magic missing cover, get him to 270 and champ.
- Get the rest of my 4*s leveled in tiers, based on their current level and how many covers. This would be:
- Up to 200: and (only cause she's already max covered and at 180)
- 170 to 180:
- 160:
- XFW is currently at 225 (cover maxed) and Fury is at 207 (Cover maxed). I don't want to spend ISO to champ them now, I'd rather focus on getting Hulkbuster, Cyclops, Iceman, Jean and Rulk past them and champed.
- The rest I would get to 120 (if possible) so they are ready for DDQ, and so I can test them out on the easier PVE nodes (started doing that with Quake - she's really fun in PVE!!!)
- Try to improve how I do in the DDQ 4* (Clash of the Titans). Had a big improvement between the 1st and 2nd cycles (went from 8/22 to 18/27). I think I can at the very least break 20 during the current cycle (and so far I'm 3 for 3). This is really my only reliable way to get 4* covers at this point.

For PVP I don't think I can reliably hit 1000 anymore. This has pretty much stopped how I would get 4* covers before the champ levels and 5* era. So when I do try to play it, I'm just joining it with 1-2 hours left to see what I can get on progression rewards. Still am usually get to 800 by doing this, and am getting 2-3 3* covers to add as champ levels.

I've got 14 3* champs that are within 5 covers of getting their 4* reward (and made that with Cap already). Unfortunately, I'm only going to be able to use 8 of these, the rest will be 6000 ISO

I'm currently leveling my Ghostrider (now 1/2/4) and am somewhat optimistic I'll win his with some luck and probably boosts.

I'm pretty much done championing 3*s for now - I might decided to champion Squirrel Girl if i get a bunch of covers coming my way (she's currently my only maxed 3* not champed, at level 151). Am also rebuilding the 3*s I previously sold ( ), though i only intend to invest in IM40 (would not have sold him if I knew he was getting a buff :( )

I only have 3 max-covered 4*s, none of whom I really want to spend the ISO to champion yet ( ). Once I've gotten OML at a good level, I plan to bring some of my decent/but undercovered 4*s to at least 200, so once I get their last few covers it won't be as daunting to max level and champ them.

I've been slacking a bit lately on pvp so have not made it to 1000 yet in a while. Depending on the bracket I fall in (and timing) its been actually easier for me to get placement rewards vs progress rewards, so I've made pretty good progress with adding Champ levels to 3*s.

On 5*s, I now have 3 covers for both SS and OML, and 2 for Phoenix and BSS. If I get a few more covers for OML I might start using him in PVP, but we'll see :)

My roster has definitely gone through some improvements over the last few months, and the champion factor over the last couple of weeks has been a big part of that, as I have received a lot of LTs just from championing my 3*s.

My Champs are:







Before champions, my goal was to get 1k in each pvp to slowly build up my 4*s with covers, and to max the rest of my 3*s that I thought would be good to have at max level (especially when buffed).

Now, I'm trying to use my ISO for the following:

-Champion the rest of my maxed 3*s once I get extra covers (based on DDQ that will probably be Mags and SW)
-Max any other 3*s that I would like to champion based on the reward, especially if they are close to being maxed (Vision and Storm would probably be next)
-Level up my 4* in advance to when they'll be featured in DDQ, so I have a better shot at getting the LT, and so they can eventually be used in PVP. I recently brought up IMHB to level 180 (from 111), and 4Pool to 158 (from 127). I'm now 4 for 4 on the 2nd DDQ cycle, where I was 2 for 2 on the first cycle. Also, once I knew HP wasn't going to be used for covers anymore, I invested what HP I had left in 3 IMHB covers.
-Still aim for 1k in PVP, though I have not been as successful here due to bad timing on my part, lots of more competition because everyone actually wants the 3* placement rewards, not a great selection of boosted 3*s, or the 1k reward not being something I really want to spend the effort to get

I do have all 5* characters now, but none are ready to be trotted out for PVP. If I get lucky with LTs and get a decent amount of covers for them, I'll invest the ISO to level them up.

Little change to plans: I'm going to add Wolverine 2* back to my roster and all 2*s except maybe Ares, Moonstone and Baby cap. Meanwhile also champing Wolv patch, SW and KK. I also build my current deck of characters more powerful and completely forget adding new ones anytime soon.. We'll see after starting to open tokens but that's still far to go...

Well I haven't posted here since May, it looks like.


have been championed (re-championed in Steve's case). will be next to (re)champion, followed by . I still can't quite bring myself to sell any of but I am staring pretty hard at (I use Marvel daily in DDQ. She, Mags, and Wolvie make a nice rainbow team and I can rip through the survival node pretty quickly with them)


I'm up to 37 of the 40 championed. Only left to do, and they'll get championed in that order. Sentry is still missing one red cover, since I couldn't be bothered to play through Prodigal Sun to get it last time.

Once I hit 40 champions, I will be contemplating retirement due to the glacial pace of the 3*->4* transition and general dissatisfaction with the game's overall direction.


is at 5/2/5 and in the 180s, after I saved up 120 to get her fifth blue. She'll slowly work her way up into the 200s and then I'll see if my PVP results improve. Not much else noteworthy to report. got his 5th blue a while ago. So those are the only 3 max powers in the entire 4* space for me. Sheesh.

I sold my Champion yesterday (and instantly re-rostered him to start from scratch) so I could level up and Champion . I've wanted to Champion him for a long time and he's coming up in The Big Enchilada so I'll have an extra cover for the . This makes 27 Champions.

I'd like to Champion but was surprised to discover that I'm one short of 13 covers. He, , and are the only s that I don't have fully covered.

Progress - after champing Squirrel Girl, I have 3 3* left before I'm all done there. None of them are cover-maxed yet, though, so I'm waiting on those until DDQ cycles. I've thought about champing all the 2*s but that seems even more pointless than the remaining 3*.

I'm missing 3 of the newest 4* because I haven't been able to keep up with releases in PvE for a little while. I'm trying for Wasp, but then she'll sit at 1 cover for awhile.

ATM I'm hoarding Iso to make sure I can level every 4* that's viable for DDQ. I've only got 4 viable in the next 12, then potentially the 9 newest that I've mostly got unrostered or sitting at low covers, so I'm not going to be earning LTs for a few months. I figure I'll focus on either 4hor or Hulkbuster. I can't champ them yet but maybe they'll ease the CP earning in PvE. Or maybe even give me a shot at a 1k prize in PvP if I'm super-motivated and extra lucky.

I just championed Phoenix to go along with my champion Logan. I have nothing left worth playing for now. Even Gobbler and IM46 aren't so good that I would feel it necessary to strive for them, as if one could strive to complete a 5* to begin with.

Without any more information, GSBW is a no-brainer. 2* Cap is junk. Psylocke is also pretty much junk. GSBW serves the most purpose for you as part of Winfinite, and that Fury cover is icing.

I agree that 2* Cap is strictly inferior to his counterpart; I'd be using him to fuel 3* covers and other champ rewards.

My concern about using the GSBW cover is feeling like the Fury cover would go to waste, since I'm not sure the 90 minute commute I'm about to start would let me get the ISO to make cover #14 usable. (As noted in the advice thread, my Fury is level 188 and fully covered.)

Psylocke isn't great on her own anymore, but at least for now provides covers for XFDP.

That's why I'm not quite as sure it's a no-brainer. Advice under serious consideration, though.
