But honestly, the TU was not the difference maker.. with as long as it took me to beat it.. (22 tries), the time i won, was the time he never got to use the TU.. so it never came into play.

It's not just the time you won where the TU came into play, it's the 21 times you lost. Odds are it played a role there. I know it did for me.

Not as much as you would think. A 2 cover OBW can't steal black, and most of those losses were due to inferno being cast and me not being able to do anything to counter it.. most of them i died before ever getting a single ability fired.. and many of them, the ai never got to use the TU.

Oh well, it is over now.. nothing anyone can do about it. Win or lose, time to get ready to make fun of falcap trying a 1 on 1 against anyone.

6 more attempts last night and I finally beat it. Alas, a Professor X yellow I didn't need, so yet another Pyrrhic victory.

I lost count of how many times I tried this fight exactly. I think it was 16. But I finally beat it late last night with my 3/3/2 level 168 thing. And for all the boosts and ISO I spent, I was "rewarded" with Starlord icon_cry.gif Oh well

This is the beginning of some rough DDQ 4*. We are entering the characters we don't have covered well. Someone said assuming you got 4 from him in release, the best you could have him is 1/1/4.

Cyclops was bad but most everyone had a fully covered XFORCE. Falcon is going to be bad too

The least they could've done was not match him up against a character whose main ability is that she destroys all protect tiles.

That would only be fair. She-Hulk would be another one. She steals your shields and the one color you don't share she can destroy 2 of yours

I tried 14 times before the teamup changed. 6 times I lost because of the teamup (stolen red causing flaming death).

The second try after the teamup changed, I succeeded.

The teamup change was huge, & while changing it in the middle of the day helped me, it was still a tinykitty move.

I did find it interesting that they could and did make changes to the event while it was live. Just goes to show that galactus round one was "working as intended."

But we will never get an acknowledgment that they made an error. We will never get an apology.

I won on the 2nd attempt with 150 health left. But when i completed the reat of DPD 4 hours later i still came in 14th overall. Looks like not too many made this one.

It's kinda funny how the devs were sorry about giving the ai a teamup to work with but never fail to give one that really hurts.
