I'm saving my Legendary token until later - tomorrow X-23 should be in tokens...0 -
I thought this was going to be the first 4* DDQ I wouldn't complete. My is 1/2/3 level 131. First time I went at went bad.
Real bad.
So I said let's boost - +2 R/Y, +2 G/B, 100% Match Damage. Results?
Got EXTREMELY lucky to cascade to a win on the last match.
The moral of the story - if you play with your Thing the right way, you can end up on top!

Is it better to boost +2ap or +damage boost since the team up steals your ap and it's the same colours?0

Pulled from Vault the other day until I hit Thing to go 1/2/5, moved him to 172. Beat it first time with Green boost + all boost max + all damage max...and was at 400 health. And that was -without- HT ever getting off a red ability, his green ability never dealing damage, and never using the TU.
Once again, this match shows them bringing in a TU and you not getting one is ****.0 -
3/3/5, 150, one shot, no boosts
Red, green, red, Torch was dead. He fired green once but never had ap for it to do any serious damage
Deny red!
Token gave me my 8th unneeded cover, MFP (most frequently pulled)0 -
Had a crack at it with my 0/2/0 with max boosts and I don't think I even chipped enough health off for it to be visible.0

Giving up after 6 or 7 tries with my mid-sized Thing (168 3/2/2). All fails; even with good board, careful playing and prioritized denial, that Agressive Recon TU gets me every time.
REMOVE ENEMY TEAM-UPS.0 -
2nd try with 4/5/3 level 155 Thing. I got lucky and got loads of red matches so Torch was stunned a lot of the time. That recon TU is brutal, though.0

12 tries and nothing with a 1/2/4 lvl 152 Thing.. out of boosts and health packs now.. only twice did i get any abilities off at all. Boards were all black heavy..0

Took me 5x w/ my level 181, 255 Thing. Absolutely hate that pink TU!!!0

With my Thing now at 5/1/4 lvl 176, I figured I would have a good shot. I boosted anyway with R/Y B/G and all colors because I only have a few 4*s that have a chance in DDQ and wanted the token. Went pretty quick and he didn't get his team up off. 1st try win with about 3500 health left. As people have said, deny red/green/black especially red. Earned a buster so i'm happy.0

I had a godsend board for The Thing (level capped at 1/3/3) on my only try. I boosted to start with 4 red & green, but somehow I managed to work the board such that the only powers Torch activated were his Black (when I had 21 green to smash away attack tiles) and the AP steal team-up. EDIT: Legendary became an X-Force Deadpool Black. That puts him at 4/2/0, with a first Purple about two weeks out in the Daily Rewards.0

Yep, that's been the rumor about you Aes. Guess it's true!0 -
1/0/1 lvl 74 Thing here. Went about as well as you would think. Didn't get his TU off, but did use his Green in an unmatchable spot and his Black killed me immediately afterwards.
The whole TU for the AI but not for the player bothers me a bit. How can you not code the AI to not use it? If you can block it from the player, you should be able to block it from the AI.
The biggest thing that bothers me is the devs say they can't remove it, their sorry... yet choose TU's that are absolutely devastating to the player and help the AI instead of giving the AI a snarky remark TU every time... or something equally useless. If the devs really feel bad that they can't get rid of it why not give it a weak useless one? Their words and their actions do not match on this front.0 -
1/5/5 190 Thing and it took me 10 tries. First 4 tries were at 1/5/4 level 167, so I bumped him to 190. Next 5 tries were at 1/5/4 and it was just bad board after bad board. Used HP reserves to buy his last green cover and beat him after losing less than 1k health due to good cascades on my part. Probably shouldn't have bought that last green0

level 131 quitting after 10 healthpacks and 100 boosts, this game is bull ****0
-
0/2/4, and I had no luck while burning through all my match damage boosts. One Inferno or Fireball and it's game over. I'm sure I could do it if I got a real lucky series of match 5s, but I'm not spending the resources on making sure I'm boosted until that happens.0
