4* DDQ: Your Thing is on FI-YAAHHHH!

Since there's no thread about this yet, and we're a few hours away from the next round of DDQ, might as well post this.

So, who you think Ben's gonna face? Is your Thing (heh) going to have a chance? Unless it's Yelena, MBW, or Bagman, my 0/0/1 Thing will probably sit this one out

Perhaps it's gonna be lv 270 Silver Surfer to prevent you stunning him. Nah I kid. Kingpin would be quite a fun opponent, what with his poking and pawns (and denying red so that you can't stun him). IW can hide and negate Thing's high damage, and you'll have to waste time finding her Invisibility tile. Luke Cage would have been a great opponent with his strong yellow (which Thing isnt going to prioritise) and his protect tile, but he has already been used

Doesn't matter, as little of the player base has him covered enough to beat any reasonable opponent?

Aunt Petunia's Ever-Loving Blue-Eyed Thing deserves a good opponent, however, and he does not have a good one left. It would amuse me if they had him fight Torch, though.

Thing DDQ is essentially a 2 power fight as his yellow has no use...which ones bad for me since my 1/2/0 thing only has one power. I sense a defeat in the air

I think it'll be against Human Torch. Both share Green and Red and there's obviously comic history between them.

I'm a little worried this will be the first one I may not beat. My Thing was lvl 147 2/2/3 but thankfully I picked up his Yellow from the last PVP progression reward. Yellow doesn't help but at least I'll be able to bump up his health to lvl 168.

Thing can stun with his red, and probably the developers won't want that happening, so...maybe maxed silver surfer? or Galactus? If it's Galactus it'll probably be the round 1 variation, in keeping with the theme of "you're supposed to lose".

I can see it being Human Torch to be fair. Sharing two colours as usual. My Thing is 0/3/5. The 5 in Green does a tasty amount of damage even at Lvl 111 which I have him. I'll pump some iso into him and I should be fine given a green heavy board.

I have my Thing at 4/0/3 and his damage is still pretty weak for the cost of them. I haven't levelled him up though, mind you. Not sure if I'll have a chance even with the high-ish covers. Both powers don't even do 2k damage yet. Frustrating as a 5th on his red jumps it to 3.4k damage and his green jumps to 2.4k or something on his 4th.

I'm hoping for Torch. Been saying so for a long time.
My Thing is 2/5/4, softcapped at level 229. Even though he has the most covers in the ability that can't be used in a one-on-one battle I am confident he'll get the job done.

I'm in a similar situation, 2/1/3 and trying to hit 1k to pick up that 2nd yellow.

This one will be tough.

1/2/4 Thing .. hope it is an easy one... as for opponent, really no-one good lore-wise.. Punisher, Lthor, or Lcap would match color-wise.

In terms of game mechanics, I would luv to see Xpool being the opponent. But in terms of marvel lore, probably HT is the better match.

I hope it is someone easy, because this one is going to be a two power against four powers (AI still has the team up) fight.

To make things worse for me, my Thing is 1/5/3 so my red and green are really bad, but at least I can level him ... ( I wanted him 5/3/5 but RNG decided that I needed six yellow covers )

Should be an interesting fight for my 0/5/5 Idol O' Millions. 10 covers is enough to level him pretty high, and green at 5 hits hard enough to win a fight if I can use it enough, but the lack of red could be a killer if it is against Johnny, given how important red denial is against him. Maybe I'll luck out in the DDQ vault and get the red cover sitting there...

My Thing is 1/3/1. Those three yellow covers aren't gonna do me a whole lot of good. I expect this one will be a swing and a miss.

My 1/1/2 94 will probably sit out unless i get somewhere in the ballpark of 132 to create the 15,000 damage to down whatever 270 opponent he goes against before losing all 6327 of his hp.
