I haven't been following this thread for a while.... Ive just been overtaken by a guy with a lvl 85 Wolverine thor and spidey in hard mode by 60k points.... OMG how is that even possible... Im at num 2 now and no chance of moving up again.... In the main bracket i was also overtaken by a more likely lvl 141 team of magnito patch and lvl 85 Wolverine... By 20k points...
What gives...

I've totally burned out on this event. I must be in a bad bracket cause I'm barely able to stay around #75 and I continuously get the 20 iso rewards. One mission in particular I had 1/4 rewards. I played it 6 times in a row and got 20 iso each time. It's the prologue all over again. Not worth the single Psylocke cover that I'll never use anyway.

Oh well, I'll try to grab her in a future, tournament, this one is only good for leveling up a few characters.

I've logged on today just to play the Wolverine mission for 2400, 1800, and whatever else points. I am top 5 overall with 115,000 and top 5 in the hard group with 35k...it's getting serious.

I made my second attempt at Devil Dino on hard and was victorious. I used 105 Patch 65 OBW and 52 Doom. I basically just denied green and black all day and used Recon from widow when I could. I went after Punisher first because he can be more deadly than Dino. I didn't use Patch's Green until I had about 30 built up along with his red. Then once Punisher was almost down I finished him off with one TBTI then hit Dino with the other 3 and knocked him down even more with Berzerker and the demon tiles finished him off. Then I made quick work of Bag Man. I lost Doom, but Patch and OBW came out unscathed.

The subevents are open too long.

I really don't think I want to keep up the effort of grinding 20 iso matches on the high point events, or grinding 4 times the number of lower point events (many of which will also be 20 iso), to stick in the top 10 when from here I'm sure I could just play every match once and still get 2 Psylocke covers. Some effort is fine, but there's way too many resets per subevent especially considering how many repeatable missions there are (and considering that the highest point mission has exactly one reward and then it's 20 iso all the way) and given that unless I remember wrong the total length of this event is over 8 days.

My only complaint with this event is partially of my own doing. The Easy Simulator has become the Hard Simulator for me. Up until this set of sub events it was fine and still had value. This sub event has enemies in the Easy Simulator starting at level 141. Again, this is my own doing, but it also also significantly reduces the value of this part of the event. There is no incentive for me to complete those missions for a third of the points that I can get in the Hard Simulator with a slight bump in difficulty.

I've been farming 230's and I've stayed in 1st. Seems like that's how it's supposed to work. Usually works like you do nothing and you win. I think this event rocks.

I have a quick question about points. What's the best way to maximize my score early on? Should I get to the big point mission and burn it all the way down early or wait on its points to max out before I clear it 5 times?

Based on my experience from the last bracket, whoever is currently the sub bracket leader for the hard mission is so far ahead of everyone that you should do the missions that are worth the most points that you can reasonably beat and forget any point strategy, because you'll never leave the 10X modifier anyway. Of course if you want to take a shot at the 500 iso 8 rewards then go for it, but the leader so far has been so far ahead to render all strategy irrelevent. I won my sub bracket by about 3K points and all my missions are still at the max modifier.

It depends on how often you can play. If you can play 5 times during the course of the sub event then burn it and burn it hard early.

If you can only play 3 times then waiting and getting maximum value for your playing time makes more sense.

Tokens were **** again. 2 storms and a Dakken.

32k lead on 3rd place without doing hulk yet other than 1 match.

I feel like the hulk round is gonna be hardest by far because main buffed character does little damage. Hoping my lead will be good for casual play. Busy day tomorrow.

Finished 1st in hard mode, and 6th in normal mode (got lazy). Got purple Loki and 2 red moonstones for my rewards. Guess I used all my luck earlier on the red/blue mags from the tokens.

Picked up a red Hulk cover from my tokens to complete my 5/3/5 Hulk. I prioritized Green out of necessity, not choice, so I would not mind picking up another red Hulk cover when the Respec becomes available.

Also got an unneeded but appreciated black Hulk cover.

Mmm...no rewards yet. I know I got first in both again...so...yea. guess o have to wait on those. So 6 first place finishes and a score of 108k with a 20k lead over 2nd in my bracket.

I have yet to need dakan, but we will see as mag and doom ar both above 100 for me ...so those last 2 rounds I used them extensively along Sith a mix of spidey, punisher, IM40 when required, and ares when punisher wasn't available. Actually...very few times I felt spidey was worth putting in honestly.

Welp, finished 1st in hard and 5th in easy. Sitting in 1st in main bracket with 151k. Its a three way race for top two, no one else is even close. After cracking two caps and an unneeded daken with my last tokens i've decided to save all my tokens till the end of the tournament. Does anybody know if the simulator cover pack will still be available when the tourny ends? I figure if i crack 10 - 11 tokens at once i'm bound to get something good.... i hope.

I received my like last place iso **** prize from the 2 hard mode missions I did last round, did not receive my potential top 2 in easy mode. So not sure what I finished.
