I'm liable to place higher in hard than I ever have, even though I'm just trying to build up ISO at this point and not worrying too much about tournament points.This is the first time I've been to get the big ISO prize on hard; pity it's just 2500 ISO this round.

    I'm about to cross 50,000 - I've got like 45,000+ now - so I've just about gotten to my target. It's a long look at a lot of nothing after that; I"m probably just going to try to ramp up the ISO. If Hood is the boosted villain, I"m not going to get anywhere; I've got a 0/0/1 15th level Hood.

    I can't even make a dent in this round 3 Devil Dino level in hard mode. It's just ugly. Devil Dino and Punisher messing my team up bad while Bag Man makes Spidey's stun lock, protect tiles, and healing unavailable.

    Bag Man can't do anything while stunned.

    If Bagman is clearing Spidey's web tiles, you're starting to launch stuns before you've amassed enough blue.

    This is why I like 2* Magneto alongside Spidey- once you set off his purple even once, you'll probably be able to keep up Spider's stunlock on everyone for good.

    He means you can't even use Spidey.

    Which means sheer luck without a stun lock trying to finish Dino off before getting a bite off, which is pretty much a one shot with any character.

    And while you try and deny green, punisher is lobbing molotovs lol.

    The difficulty is because at level 230 they have a truckload of hit points to get through

    No, Bagman makes Spidey completely unavailable for that battle because Bag Man is Spidey. All his abilities are likewise unavailable because he isn't there.
  • Ok people, keep losing. The OBW, storm and wolvie level on hard has dropped to lvl 217, which is the lowest I have available. Maybe we can all go tank together. I will throw out bagman for the good of the community at least a handful of times.

    Edit- well that sucks. Forgot im40 is required there and since he takes 50 min instead of 10 now, its not gonna make a dent. OSCORP heroic here we go.

    The Thugs usually pass up their ability if someone has a bigger yellow. There's also some internal cooldown to certain abilies. The most obvious one being the Snipers have a 0g for Deadly Shot obviously do not use it nonstop.

    I'm rolling with doom, spidey, im40 for most fights. Im40's ability to feed blues is crucial. If you happen to get off 2 summon demons, its hitting for 2.5 to 3k per turn.
  • The ramping on this thing is still ridiculous. If they even didn't start ramping until you started the event that might make it somewhat more manageable, then you could just grind the whole thing out. As is, I started 6 hours after round 3 started and most of hard mode was not beatable for me and even some of the easy mode matches are at really high levels.
  • Devil dino..you bastard. Since I shielded long ago in nefarious, I had nothing else to do so I took a stab at devil dino hard mode. He took out both doom and im40 even after i collected enough blue to stun him with C.storm. but fortunately I got off one summon demon and managed to eek out a victory with storm riding out the turns. Pretty sure thats exactly how d3 wants you to feel..satisfied after fighting for your life on each match.

    Yeah, but sometimes the guys you fight can shrug off 2K damage a turn and still outrace you if you don't have them stunlocked. I can only summon 4 demons with my doom so he's only doing about 700 damage a turn.

    So what is the difference btw the 2 modes now other than the points??
