How many 230 level nodes do u have?
I think only 1. The Dakken S&V thug.
I'll double check though.0 -
Maggotbreath wrote:Agreed. Spidey to stun, punisher to 1 shot them when they're below 40%. Ares would make a heavy damage 3rd, it'd take too long for you to use Loki's tickery (though omg that's useful). Could sub in obw or hood. Save X-force for last. Daken -> muscle - X. Use boosts. Blue+pink, g/b and +mutant damage (or +3 all if you have the iso or have them stocked). Keep daken tied up when green can be matched. grab yellow to heal/kill daken.
Sound strategy. I used it with great results. Maxed OBW, level 60 punisher and level 102 Spidey. Leaving unstunned to generate blue ap then steal it and stun him works awesome. He is like a battery pack for your stun-lock.0 -

Yeah only 1 set of 230's with the devil Dino hulk mission at 221.0 -
My current missions levels, ordered by mission number are:
"easy":
108, 130, 176, 230, 109, 132, 178, 153, 154, 125
hard:
199, 230, 230, 230, 174, 230, 230, 205, 214, 199
I expect they will creep up even more before the end.
I hope the levels reset for the next batch of sub-events, but they probably won't, since my "simulator basics" missions are now at level 138 each.0 -

Would be better if every1 was just dead even and they reset after each event. They would need to scale up slightly faster but not too much.
On another note I keep getting comm link disrupted like every 2 minutes. My internet us working fine. ****0 -
Feeling fortunate I got a casual main bracket. Sitting in 1st with only 13k points. No one in the leaderboard seems to be grinding.0

Jeez, thats ridiculously casual. I'm sitting at 34k, top 10 is mostly 20k-21k, with a guy at 25k and one at 30k.0 -

Loki is at Level 30 (5/3)
How does one even collect that much? Any tips? All I got is 80 Thor, 50 CStorm, 50 Wolv 2*. I guess not a chance. I've only got the easy 5k iso. No Loki in my deck so I'm locked out.
So, am I getting the sense that leveling up your characters is a bad idea and to wait until you have a ton of ISO? As soon as I get enough ISO, I level up my characters...
I admit, 40k in a week is on the high side for me. Most weeks I can gain 15k-30k iso depending on how much time I have, how the pve is formatted and if I have the right covers buffed for the pvp or pve events. But This week I started with a bit of a jump start from the Elite tourney reward, selling covers from the previous week and the 5k(x2) in the pve. Also, I can grind around 10k iso out of lightning rounds if I dedicate to getting to 100 points in lightning rounds around the clock during the couple of days they are going. I have a 3 month old baby so I am up every 2-3 hours anyway.
I like to save up a ton of iso so when I level up my characters I will notice the boost in power right away. But I think you can level your characters any way you want to.
You can definitely make 15k-20k or more a week with your roster. And as your roster grows - so will your ability to earn iso. The longer you play, the more covers you earn, the more chances you will have a buffed character in an event or tourney to speed up your matches and reduce your damage.
I hope this helps!0 -

I'm currently staying away from Patch since he is bad in buffed events and requires the team to be build around him. However, if you wanted to use Patch at any point in time, the next month of your iso gains should be pumped into him until he is maxed out: Patch really wants to have his symbol on tiles, so he needs to be among the highest level characters in your roster.0 -

I noticed that while I was playing with buffed Loki. I wanted Spider-man to stun Loki for a turn so Wolvie would dominate the board but no such luck. Damn. I was being short sighted. What my team REALLY needs is a tank, more specifically a Black Hulk cover. Er... Now do I push to get Patch maxed out? Or do I just suck up the iso I sunk into him and leave him at a mediocre level 80 while spending future iso on my dream hulk?0 -

Depends on your roster. Again, if you ever want to have Patch as a main player for your future team, you need to max him out. According to the iso calculator on the forums, it takes 42k iso to level a 3* from 15 to 75, and 130k to level a character from 75 to 141: relatively speaking, you're only 1/4th of the way to maxing him, so I wouldn't worry about having "wasted" the iso on him. Again, it depends on whether or not you want him to be a core part of your roster in the future: if you commit to Patch, you need to commit to him all the way and make that push. I would say that for someone who is just transitioning into 3*s, going all in on Patch is a good proposition since he instantly adds a lot of power to the team, and it doesn't take too much iso to get him to a point where he's matching all your tiles. For someone who already has a solid 3* roster, its going to take ~100-150k iso to get him up to a point where he will start matching your tiles, and thats an awful lot to invest into a character before they become playable.0 -

If you're pushing for Patch to have control of more tiles (your build is 5 red, yes?), then keep leveling him up so that he owns more tiles. I know some people here have stated they have deliberately stopped leveling their Hulk just so that Patch can own the green tiles. Patch's regen at high levels will let him act as an interim tank while you get your Hulk up to fighting weight, too.0 -
I'm not really a patch fan. I like a team with longevity.
I try to keep my hulk as high lvl as it allows. He's currently a 5/3/2 at lvl 90. I want as close to 141 as possible when I find those last black covers0 -

I'm really split about this: I have Hulk at 125 right now (just enough to match red/green over a 141 Punisher), but I don't know if pumping the extra 40k iso into him is worth it to me right now to get him up to 141. My main strategy to beat the Daken match in PvE is to deliberately make one pair of Daken strike tiles and then stunlock him while having Hulk feed Punisher enough green to generate enough strike tiles to do ~1k per hit. Giving Hulk more HP would make doing so marginally harder since he has more HP, and I'm not sure how intimidating a 141 Hulk is vs a 125 Hulk.0 -
Patch is always going to be the best goon plowing machine out there simply because goons don't get to match tiles which negates the biggest drawback to Berserker Rage. If you have 5 in red in Patch, he doesn't need to own too many tiles to do serious damage. I did 8000 damage with a level 90 Patch in the double shots tournament when he controlled all the tiles. Even half of that is generally overkill on most realistic situations.0

I must be in a very competetive main bracket then... Top 3 are all over 30K (Uradorkydork, tonzil, Squats) What I don't understand is Squats has noone on his roster. 77 Thor, 50 M.Storm, and 40 **IM35 are his best heroes. I must be missing something on how he could have anywhere over 30K. He doesn't even have Loki to do the locked events???0
