I gotta a shielded morphy ready for 42 points and 12 hous left on shield to find a couple more juices. Gonna try to make a run from 1026 to 1150-1200ish depending on the top 3 scores and put up another 24 hour or something.

I'm really sad, I was Morphy's (currently in third) punching bag for a bit there, while he was doing the queue up juicy targets, attack, shield, wait a bit for retals to hit, rinse and repeat, and I was less than a minute late from hitting him during one of his unshielded moments. I'll be making major efforts tomorrow, but I do have work on Monday, so unless I have a good size cushion, I think I might be out of luck.

Sorry about that Rangofett, nothing personal I am very impressed you lasted so long unshielded , I thought you would have been majorly struck down but you were relatively untouched. the luck of the Irish mist be with you!

Yeah work awaits me as well. Can we not have a elite tournament that ends on a Sunday?

No hard feelings at all, I was net making points since you are higher than me, and like I said, I don't care about first place, only at least third, so we could continue that cycle all day long as long as I keep retaliating, hitting you in the unshielded window would be nice in the long run, just in case you are the person I'm fighting for third with, but not vital

I woke up. Used the bathroom. Logged on to check my phone. 1st thing I did was check leaderboard. There you were a few spots down. 10 skips later you queued up. Less than 30 seconds later your shielded.

Timing was on my side for once. Haha!

Well I did so, yesterday evening I reached 800, shielded, went to bed. In the morning I started attacking, first attack took 7 minutes and brought 30 points and simultaneously I was attacked unknown number of times from that at least 4 times the same player and lost over 120 points. So not 2-3 fast attacks, but none.

Well, even then it is pretty strange, he attacked me 4 and possibly more times in 7 minutes and immediately after that he was already in the banbox ? Hard to believe that. Just to avoid any suspicion, that these were "old" attacks, that 7 minutes long attack was the first after shielded night which broke the shield and before that I was already playing other pvp for more than hour, so these attacks couldn't be some old "buffered" attacks. And if that was any kind of cheating, I feel a damage, I paid an entry fee and shields and have no protection against cheaters ? Whatever is the truth, I'm probably done with pvp unless some of the changes requested will be performed. PVP should reflect a bit also an effort put into it and strength of the roaster, not just blind luck and money invested imho.

I'm pretty quick with Patch. The times I have been dinged are because I got overzealous. If I'm hit, I feel as though it's on me. I was in a match too long or 3 or 4 peeps have me already queued up. It's all good. I hope to see you up here.

Good luck guys. Sat this one out cos a) the Monday finish doesn't work for me, b) I need to stop / slow the grind for a while and do 'life', and c) wasn't confident of placing high enough (top 200) to make it worth my while. Would need to be min top thirty if I was using a perma-shield strategy.

Am enjoying watching some of the forumites go at it though, and also enjoying the civility on here! Will be fun to see who comes out on top.

All good. I fkd up and lost a match and then like 4 people got me. Lol

I just got called in to work though anyways and I don't think the tourney is gonna be worth it from what I've seen up top. I ain't getting top 3 and that's all that's really any good. Ima just see where I can get unshielded with a big run and a 3 hour tomorrow night.
