So I'm new to an event like this, but is matchmaking broken or something? All it will match me with now is people between 0-600 points (which gives me a whopping 0 points for a win). I just watched someone in the top 10 I shielded for about two minutes and couldn't get them to come up in the match list.

You'll be lucky if you can get someone 700+ to show up. You'll have to catch them when they unshield. You might still see them as shielded in the top 10.

Ack... 3rd looks to be out of reach now... think i'm throwing in the towel on that pipe dream.

Will make a run at top 10 tomorrow morning, No way I'm gonna be able keep up at work though... i'm just hoping to stay in top 30 at this point.

I need to max out some three stars... L102 Patch / L96 Hulk / L 86 Spidey just too enticing for feeding frenzy at the top. Kept getting greedy trying to squeeze in a 3rd attack between shields, wish i had opted for a slow and steady approach.

Should be fun watchimg the carnage though...

It's not just you, as soon as I hit 1300+ all I keep seeing is people with in the 0-200 point range who are all worth 0. Was it this tight at the top in the first elite event? The top 6 are all so close at the moment.

Yeah, I'm definitely never wasting money on this again. It's just stupid. My only choice now is to grind on one pointers, but he problem there is that it does make you show up on peoples queues way below you. Got attacked three times for 40 points a pop, way too risky.

Didn't wanna join in because my I didn't think my roster would survive. But reading this thread along the way has been great.

On a serious note thought hopefully they address the issues of you higher up guys not being able to find matches worth points before they implement the reward/skip tax...

Personally I'd love to see the chaos if you could see shielded opponents in the fight queue for these.
That would certainly stop the problem of not being able to find points.

I think bringing back being able to find and attack shielded opponents should be a priority!
