Mathematically, yes.

But I think this has soured me on spending money for a bit.

Yeah, I know, odds, and confirmation bias, and RNG and all that...

Just don't feel like "rewarding" D3 for a bit....

I at least like the vault for that, knowing if I pull crud, then my odds are better next time at getting what I really want. Though on the taco vaults I pretty much just use those for iso or health packs when I need them.

Did you actually pull a DP4 as your first cover? I got a 2* from my 300 and 650 pt tokens. Got a Cyclops red from the 900 pt token, so my dupe is now 2/5/2. Think I'm aiming for 3/5/5 for the dupe, which I should have after PVE and next round of DDQ. Was tempted to buy a token since I'd have a 5.19% chance to pull a DP4 (4/77) but I also had a 68.75% chance to pull a 2* (55/80). Gotta save 150 HP for my 8 hr in DP PvP, so had 450 HP. Pulled the trigger, Doom purple. Doom dupe is now 2/5/5. Would've got the last purple from DDQ, but oh well.

In my usual Season wind down, I just played to 300 for one token. Pulled a Torch . Didn't need it, but will never complain with a three star pull on a vault.

got a red deadpool 4 star from the progression pull.

I'd buy a 10 pack but 2 huge things stopped me.

1- it's 2 dollars a pull. eh, still being 1 in 8. Paying money for a chance at what I want is a no go, unless the odds are stacked way more in my favor.
2- No purple deadpool in my vault. it's his most useful skill, even when not fully covered, and my vault has 0 and theres no reasonable way for me to get one.

So I'll try to get to 600 and go for a second pull if not, eh I got my 1 dead pool. The 3 stars are eh in my vault and once again purple marvel now magneto isn't coming. I've drawn about 20 blue in the passed month. vault has 1. I need 2 lol.
I'll get a 3 star covered before he is at this rate.

If people were on top of every opportunity and lucky/spendy in the vault.
Like with the pool party vault combined with the top pve placement and top 100 alliance placement thats 9 covers.
If they had jugg vault instead 7.
The progression award would make 10.

it's too bad it's barred so hard to maybe 10-12 players, but its significant when you compare it to other 4 stars availability in the time frame.
Nice bonus for vets who were determined to get him.

He's the only new character I've been interested in of the last 5-6 but I've no reasonable way to get him, besides a cover or two.

I just did a silly and bought 2800HP for a ten pack because I'm dumb.

First pull was a 4* Deadpool purple. Got a 3* Magneto I didn't need too, the rest were 2*. So erm...I consider that a plus. Used some of the ISO to level him up to 90.
Woulda been nice to get two but I shouldn't be greedy, especially since I managed to hit the 1000 progression.

all 2* from my vault tokens, i had better luck with standard pvp tokens.. story event tokens are worthless, i am now at 0/87 on golds with story mode tokens.. yes i am tracking it until i pull something lol.

Yeah, I broke down and bought 2 more daily deals and got a token pull for hitting progression, and all 4 pulls wound up being 2 stars. I did actually need moonstone as Im rebuilding her currently, so 2 of the covers were usable.
