Pool Party Vault

They are rolling out a new vault with pool party. I did not have a jugg vault, but I do have a pool party vault. So it seems the control group is now the test group.

Question to others: what are the four stars in your vault? I have two red deadpools, a black deadpool, and a purple deadpool. Anyone with non-deadpool four stars?

Just as a note before the question comes up: This is intentional. Those that got the Juggernaut Vault get a standard Pool Party store and vice versa.

    I tested my luck with a 40 pack, got 3 4pools, 13 3 stars, 24 2 stars.
I got lucky enough to break even with buying covers, since I needed 4 of the 3 stars, so I got 3*2500 + 4*1250 worth of HP = 7500+5000 = 12500. THough I probably wouldn't have bought 3 star covers (but they were for scarlet witch blue, iron fist purple, gamora green, and bullseye green)

As far as I'm concerned you can't add the value of the 3*s in that. You got 7,500 imcoin.png + iso8.png out of 9,800 spent. 3*s are free and eventually come around, 4*s not so much.

I got a pool party with four Deadpools in it, three black and one purple. Spent 100HP for one token and pulled my first 4* Deadpool! Back to just lacking Jean Grey and Kingpin.

Yeah you are right, I shouldn't count 3* as HP. Maybe the iron fist purple could count since I was at 4 purple before hand

I figured what the heck, I've got HP to burn, I'll try my luck at the regular tokens. And what do you know, I pulled Deadpool!

    ....The 3* version.

Went in to see if I got the vault before seeing that it was only alternating if you didn't have the previous vault, and thought, "oh well, fair enough". Bought one last token out of the Juggernaut Heroic vault, pulled 4P purple.

    Happy days!

The Juggernaut vault sucked for me. Hopefully those of you who got a Pool Party vault have better luck.
  • I was considering getting a 10pack but theres only 3 usable 3*s, and only one I really need, blade's green (dont use the other two, QS and colossus). The 4 XDP covers are tempting tho. Ares off the daily deal, lets try again tomorrow.

Juggernaut Vault was pretty bad. I'm quite glad I didn't convince myself to buy any tokens.

I only bought 2 tokens for the juggs vault. Got dpx and thing. I assume my luck will be terrible for a long time. icon_e_smile.gif

Correct me if I'm wrong but since the vault system has a slight chance to increase your odds of getting the rewards you want after spending a few tokens, don't the people who got the pool party vault have a better chance at getting a 4* Deadpool cover than those who had the Juggernaut vault, considering that the Juggernaut one only had a single Deadpool cover?

If so, that seems unfair, test or not.

    It's all RNG, though.

Also note that you generally get more token from PVE than PVP events.

(I didn't get the Juggs vault, slacked off the event and got two tokens which yielded The Thing and ***Iron Man - RNG)

I know you couldn't due to test reasons lol, but saying that at the same time announcing the Juggs vault was a test would probably have generated less frustration haha! It's definitely lessened my concern a bit.

I'm not sure what PvP vs PvE has to do with the matter, since both were PvE events. My point is that the RNG chance to get a deadpool cover in the Pool Party vault is greater since there are 4 covers available in comparison to the single one available in the Juggernaut vault.

One thing I had not considered before was that the Juggernaut vault had 80 total covers available, so if the Pool Party vault has more than 300 then the odds would be roughly the same. Can anyone inform me on how many total covers are in that vault?

Doesn't matter that it's RNG. chances with 1 in 80 is a lot worse than 4 in 80 - if that's how the new vault is built
