I'm not gonna complain. I got the regular token packs and with the 300 token pulled red dead4

I'm not sure what PvP vs PvE has to do with the matter, since both were PvE events. My point is that the RNG chance to get a deadpool cover in the Pool Party vault is greater since there are 4 covers available in comparison to the single one available in the Juggernaut vault.
Poolparty is PvP, Heroic Juggernaut was PvE.

Doesn't matter that it's RNG. chances with 1 in 80 is a lot worse than 4 in 80 - if that's how the new vault is built
They are worse yeah. But you were randomly assigned to one vault that will randomly yield coveted covers or not (well, unless you intend to buy all the covers, naturally). What I mean is that getting the "wrong" vault is just as unfair as not getting Deadpool from a token. Both are random things and therefore "fair".

Juggs vault contained 1 DPX cover and 3 other random 4* covers.

DPX Vault has 4 DPX covers for everyone that has it.

Not the same, Not "fair". I did not buy any tokens for the Juggs vault because the content sucked. I would have bought tokens for a shot at even 1 of 4 DPX covers since my odds would have improved significantly... 400% that I would get one.

People who got the regular store front on this "test" got the shaft.

I think the reason this vault has 4 4pool covers while the pve one had 1 is to kinda match what the normal token odds were. If you notice for 4 star pvps, the normal tokens have higher % for that 4 star, but no % for other 4 stars.

whew, because all juggs tokens were terrible.. and i mean aweful..

Was my vault meant to have 4 DP reds and no other colors? Mine is already 2/0/0, and red at 1k progression.. so i could statistically end up 7/0/0...lol

I'm sure this echoes everyone else....

This really sucks, Ice. My Heroic vault had one -- ONE -- usable cover, the DP red.
All the 79 others are duplicates.

Since I was in that group I now have no access to the vault which has 4 covers I would highly desire.

I have never actually spent cash on token packs for this game. If I had the vault, I guarantee you I would've opened the wallet to get those 4 covers.

In theory, I could spend the same amount on my non-vault purchases and maybe get more... But I could get nothing on par. (More likely, in fact, to not get 4...)

Seems rather unfair for some people to miss out on this vault which is a lot better than the Juggernaut one. Hope it is re-run for the people who miss it at some point. (Although knowing my luck I'll probably get 0 Deadpools from it unless I buy the whole vault even if it is rerun)

Just for reference, the Deadpool vault has a 4/80 = 5% chance of drawing a Deadpool on the first draw, compared to 3.6% chance on the non-vault store (4.7% if you spring for the multi-pack). The chance also improves the next time if you don't draw one in the vault.

Even after drawing a Deadpool on the first draw from the vault, the chance of drawing another Deadpool on the second draw is 3/79 = 3.79%, which is STILL better than the rate on the non-vault store!

the juggs one had way more tokens available (subs, alliance rewards, progression) and multiple 4*s to win.. Pool Party vault, 3 tokens total, and just the 1 4*, which for me is all 4 of the same color i already have 2 of and is also the 1k progression..

i would much rather have had the juggs vault, all my juggs tokens were garbage.

I didn't play juggs pve much as didn't need any of the characters (and mostly play PVP anymore), and only hit around 9K in points so I only got 1 token... no good.

In PVP, I always get all the progression tokens, just wish my vault had been switched from Juggs to DP... but it is typical of my luck. Probably would have gotten 3 2* Wolverines regardless, lol.

Multiple 4-stars to win, true, but would you rather have small chances to win 4-stars like Elektra and Invisible Woman, or a larger chance to win Deadpool? Two of the 4 4-stars I had in my juggs vault were covers I had already maxed, and the other one was a yellow Star-Lord. I'd happily trade my vault for yours lol.

And this is why they are testing it.

The best thing would be Season vaults. 1 Story Mode Vault, and 1 PVP Vault. new chars, like in heroic tokens, would not show up until the next season, OR have them rotate weekly.

    My vault has blackflag.pngpurpleflag.pngredflag.pngredflag.pngicon_deadpool.png.

Tired my luck with just the daily 100 token deal, got a Quicksilver. I don't have him fully covered, but meh, still Quicksilver. icon_rolleyes.gif
  • I'm going to break my rule on token purchases and buy a few, just to show that I support the vault over the regular store.

But it's still all terribly overpriced for the odds, I expect to pull three 2 star covers I don't need, and immediately hate myself for it.

I got 4 Deadpool covers present, 2 redflag.png , 2 purpleflag.png . For those who can afford it, two 40 packs, depending on your luck, would definitely be a go! No, I do not work for D3 icon_lol.gif I'll only be drawing from here once, so wish me luck! These surprise vaults are really great and I hope there is no end in sight!

this sucks I want 2 vaults but 100 hp tokens can't be passed up

Haven't started the pvp yet but have spent 200 hp yesterday and today and pulled a red Xpool and blue OBW so 50/50 for me so far.
  • And update: Nevermind that, the price jumps from 100 HP to 400 HP after paying for the daily deal, and there's no way Im dropping over half the price of a roster slot on a random pull from the box of 2 stars.

Pulled an Ares Red with the 100 HP I did not any anyway need.

And this is the problem with the vaults and the tokens. There's too much potential to pull unneeded content, and it leaves the purchaser feeling "Suckered" and between the unneeded product and the increase in price, there's no desire left to try your luck again.

Alternatively, I can save my HP purchases for roster slots, and that's a permanent upgrade to my account, with future use possibilities.

And sure, there are those that have higher disposable income and this isn't an issue, just wanted to post why I personally -rarely- buy tokens, and focus my HP spending on roster slots. The vault definitely makes me want to compete more for more free tokens, at least, so I need to figure out how to juggle this and enemy of the state this week.

they're not gonna change their mind.....someone bought 3 40 packs JUST to get a carnage cover...imagine what those who aren't on forum are $$$ing.

I think the independence vault was fair, and the taco vaults are too big/doesn't make sense to split them for the player(yes I know they do it for developr reasons)
