Why does this need to be 30 days exactly?

Also Antman is a scrub in the last match. I don't see why they couldn't have buffed him up to a more reasonable level, but whatever I beat it anyway

just as another poster said in an earlier post, giving you an underleveled Antman with full ability would let you know how to use him right. level doesn't matter because you need to use him to steal enemies tiles.

Yeah? Too bad most of the time he's gonna be dead from the caltrops before you get enough blue to even use at an operable time because he has a small amount of hp given the level, good try though...
    didn't happen to me

I brought Blade and Falcon (each 104) into the 5-wave (Lv111 enemies). Targeted the Kishu first because **** Caltrops, and then once Blade started proc'ing Thirst, used that, Inspiration and Ant-Man's blue to just ruin the AI's day after that.

I mean, Blade and Falcon were both low on HP by the end of the event, but nobody croaked, and the attack tiles were doing 1k+ damage EACH. I didn't have time to pile up AP after taking down the board-mover in each wave because Falcon had buffed the attack tiles so. icon_lol.gif

I did it with Patch and Loki. prioritize black for Loki, Green for Patch, Purple for Hank. Once you get loki and patch ready to rock you all of a sudden are doing massive damage with strike tiles, taking less damage with the purple protect tiles and Hank is causing straight up havok with attack tiles boosted by Patches Strike Tiles... Things just melt.

This is how I did it too. Lucky board + this team was a simple 1st time clear!
  • I like this format a lot. In theory you could probably play the easy nodes for each day and eventually get the cover. More power to you if you have the roster to beat the whole thing in 30 minutes instead of 30 days.

    • Non-competitive
    • Grind-free
    • Non-competitive
    • Able to play leisurely for top reward

I will admit I was let down that "30-day event" doesn't mean any more than "you get 30 days to try to finish it." I mean, that's a pretty big cop-out definition. But did I mention that I like the fact that it's non-competitive?

Between this and Ultron, I like that we're finally getting some new (and non-competitive) content around here.

    PS: More non-competitive events, please!

I don't think you quite emphasized how important NON-COMPETITIVE content for this game is.

I for one agree with all NON-COMPETITIVE pve related things.

It's very funny to see posts 'ugh i had my maxed roster and beat this super easily.'
  • def was not an easy beat for me but gotta luv the farming option for iso and hp

I think each node only gives out points once, like the Gauntlet, so you do need to beat every node.

I've been scanning through posts seeing people have completed this event - boo hoo I haven't - stuck on the third node. I've made it too the 4th wave and then get smashed.
I have 61 in my roster so won't list the lot just my main strengths...
    BW Grey 4/4/5 140
    Punisher 5/2/2 114
    Daken Cl 1/5/2 104
    Iron fist 3/1/3 91
    Loki 2/1/4 91
    Storm MH 5/0/1 91
    Hulk 4/0/2 89
    Storm Cl 5/5/3 70

I've tried with BW, hulk & daken
    Any suggestions??

Doh icon_redface.gif I stand corrected. Well I guess it gives time to build up the roster for the last node then.

Just the right side of challenging without stepping over into ridiculous, even if you get an unfavourable board. I took my time to wait for characters to heal between battles and found it very enjoyable.

The levels on the last node were in the 130(ish) area so like most went with Steve Rogers L166 and Hood L120 and by then end of the match even all three characters were down to less than 1000 health.

Hulk is only good if he can tank, and he's too low. First, if you have any maxed 2*'s, I would try synergy among those first. Scaling wise, your 3*'s besides Punisher and GBW aren't any better. I would try GBW, Punisher, and Loki otherwise. Red is for punisher, pink and green are for GBW, and black is for Loki to transform the strike tiles they throw out into defensive tiles. Make sure you kill two goons, then farm the last one as long as you can without taking damage. Good luck!

Loved the event and loved the accessible 4* cover. The final node was a real challenge and showed off Antman's powers. More please!

I like the fact that they give you plenty of time; if I were just a 2* player trying to break through, it would probably take two weeks to get to the point where I could beat the final node.

And yes, going forward, I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to see this model used to let everyone get a crack at a 4* cover. If the pace is going to be a new 4* every season, the devs can even shorten the event to ~21 days (I forget the exact length). Three weeks instead of a month doesn't seem like it would narrow the window too much.

I got it done - I decided to swap around Gbw's powers - it cost me but I have been planning on doing it anyway- now she is 5/3/5 - taking the green up takes out all 3 opponents and the red I rarely use.

How can I use Blue for Cap when I use it for Ant-Man to steal all the strike tiles Daken is putting out?

And how on earth do you get him, stop the Caltrops and the Flamethrower? One Flame and Antman is down to 1k health. This is the first wave of five...

In wave one your goal is to grab as many blue as possible, it feed antman's ability (or OBW's heal if you bring her). ignore Daken first (he can't do much without blue and his strike tiles), finish the flamethrower solder first. If you have problem dealing with 1 flamethrower, then maybe you are too bad luck in this round. try again.

To add to the above, once you have a few of Cap's blue shields down you can switch to using the blue AP for Any Man. Captain may be slow to get going but once you start to get those shields returning he turns into a stun/shield/damage dealing machine, its why when against teams that use him I try to take him first unless there are AP stealers like Hood, OBW or Loki around.

Loved this event. Good format. Antman is a fun character who packs a punch.

Anyway has anyone got any HP from this yet. Does not seem to be a giving up those hero points for me.
