The final PvE nodes over the last few weeks have been ridiculous. I can barely pass the second hard node. About 8 characters get downed in the process of completing the first two nodes. I preview the 3rd hard node with Lv200+ characters and there is no chance. I have a near complete roster of 69 characters with my top 9 at Lv144. PvP Lv153 looks easy in comparison and I have been doing better at PvP than PvE even though I try to focus on PvE.

Because of PvE increased scaling, finishing in the PvE top 150 is more challenging and time consuming than finishing in the PvP top 50 for me.
A month ago, I would finish in the top 50-100 in PvE and only top 250-300 in PvP.

With my better roster, I can now compete in PvP, but now PvE is incomplete and frustrating. All I can do is grind the easy and essential nodes. I'm up for hard nodes. I've beaten Lv395 goons, but I wish there was an option to turn down the difficulty. I would take 50% less points for 25% less difficulty (when requested on selected nodes).
  • I'll credit the simulator with one thing: It's taught me a viable defensive strategy for Vision and Quicksilver. Put them together, and the opponent will die of old age before the match ends.
  • Thank God, I finished my progression grinding my 3 nodes. Time to say good-bye to this PvE...

Good luck out there tomorrow all you crazy diamonds. icon_e_wink.gificon_e_smile.gif

It seems like when Ultron Prime duplicates a tile, the tile's strength is greatly reduced. I have the node at 395 so Beast is creating strength 450 or so tiles but the duplicated ones are only around 55. You still can't have any strike tiles on or it'll quickly overwhelm you but protect/attack tiles are almost manageable.

When I checked it, it also looked like he reduced the original tile to 55 as well.
  • I think this is the first time I've seen nodes in Simulator Hard side gone down. I had my essentials went up to 250 and then it went down to 210 after a wipe, though I don't think that was what caused it because it sure is easy to get totally wiped out and I wasn't making any special efforts to lose. It almost looks like they finally fixed some back end stuff that is supposed to remember that even strongest players can lose to stuff and things should go down when that happens.

The nodes have been going down consistently for me. Even in the last sub, essentials went from 'easy' to 'trivial'.

Maybe I shouldn't say anything because D3 might zoom in on this.

So I was doing the easy track for some points and I noticed my essentials went down to level 180, and then I blinked at the wrong time and they immediately went back up to 210.

Well, at least it's good to see nodes going down for a change as opposed to just strictly going up even if I missed the opportunity.
