Anyone ever been able to cover a Top Tier character, first?

I continue to hear about people's first character to 13 covers are always an unusable character, like "Bag Lady" and "Buttdevil" or the like, so I really want to hear about people getting a GOOD, optimal, high ranking, top tier character being the first one that you'd gotten to 13 covers.

I would imagine that PvP players are the main ones who'd get to pick and choose who their first to be coveted would be, since PvE players rely mostly on tokens / progressions / slow PvE placement rewards?

On a personal note, my first to 13 will more than likely be Squirrel Girl or Mystique or Mohawk. They are the ONLY characters tokens ever bless me with. I even pulled 4 (unneeded) Yellow Squirrels during Ultron.

My first maxed and fully covered was Punisher, then Thor, Patch, and LCap. Then Daken, Hood, Psylocke with X force getting to 220. I think I had Falcon, Sentry and Spidey covered(but not maxed) between Daken and Hood.

Now I have CMags, Blade, KK, CPT Marvel, HT, She hulk, M Storm, Loki, Doom, BP, Gamora, Beast, IM40, GSBW, DD, and Colossus with 13 covers, but needing tons of ISO to level them.

My first fully covered 3 Star was The Hood and the second was Thor.

Thor was suboptimally covered for a while (5/4/4), but still.

I had 4 star Thor as my first, and if it wasn't for him coming together as quick as he did, I might not have gotten as hooked as I am. Still use him, I'd cry if his yellow was busted down the road.

first was Lthor (3 covers were bought - he would currently be at 11 covers otherwise). second (first freebie) was daredevil... third hasn't happened yet but squirrely and doom are one away, but neither are 'top tier'. since the addition of Cyclops, buttdevil isn't nearly as bad a character as before . so no, probably doesn't qualify, but you didn't mention bought/free. I assume you meant dropped/earned covers...

My first was . I placed really well in his release PVE, then really well in the PVP that rewarded him. After that I bought the rest of the covers and leveled him up as far as I could. He was also my first maxed 3* followed very quickly by .

My first was Daredevil then Mystique. I still have DD underleveled, and Mystique I'm bringing up to 120, but I'm so close to max covering Groot, he's 4/4/4 right now... and he's proving to be the most useful even when he isn't buffed.

Though, I've gotten a kick out of using Mystique and Blade, even though they share some colors Mystique feeds Blade for his black and purple using Blue, can be fun.

SW and Doom is fun too, shortens the length of time it takes for him to kick off his purple (pink?) attack.

My first was Daken, then Thor, followed by Hood and Cap. Pretty good for a first four, Mohawk was waaay ahead of everyone but thankfully stalled at 12 covers.

I got lucky.

My first fully covered 3* were Deadpool (in my preferred build) and Luke Cage (not my originally preferred build, but I've come to like him the way I found him). All based on pulls and wins, no buying covers.

I was eventually able to fully cover Daredevil (meh) and after a few months, LCap.

Storm, Patch and Hulk are both one away, iirc. So, my next round of fully covered is okay, but not the powerhouses I'd like them to be.

4 Will prob be Gamora, she's closest w/12. 5 has a 50/50 chance to be my first really useful one, Hood, Deadpool, Punisher, Groot, SG, and Daredevil are all at 11.

When I see people say their first was LThor, Daken or Steve, all I can think is "you've been around a while", because it seems like they've all been vaulted for most of the 6 months I've been playing.

Hood is the only one I have bought covers for - 2 blue ones.

First was cMags (mostly through token luck) followed quickly by Punisher (mostly won). This was back in the heyday of Patchneto and Punneto was a decent poor man's substitute. So yeah that was pretty top tier.

Iron Man M35 was my first fully covered 1*.

Most of my 2*s have been fully covered for a long time now. I mean, on a whim I decided to save a roster slot for Ares and he was fully covered in less than a week without having to buy anything.

My first fully covered 3* just happened today when I got my 13th Mystique cover to put her at 5/5/3. For the way I use her (mostly for her blue to create black and purple to feed others, like Blade), I'm going to probably switch to a 4/5/4 or a 3/5/5, so there's at least one cover left to go.

My Squirrel Girl, Loki, and Scarlet Witch are actually 12 covered. I was secretly hoping that Squirrel Girl would be the first to 13, so that I could justify how high I've pushed her level compared to other (higher ranked) characters.

IM40 and Punisher were my first two maxed, I did well in IM40's release and had token luck with Punisher. Either Patch or Black Panther followed, so at the time I was completing, I guess. Not blowing the doors off of anything, but competing.

Pull up a chair, let me tell you a tale. Way back when, Juggernaut Heroic had "easy" and "hard" modes, each with their own placement rewards. After Captain America was released, and had his inagural PvP and 3* Thor was released, they ran Juggernaut Heroic back to back, with what was supposed to be Cap rewards and then Thor rewards. Something got crossed up and all 4 events (easy and hard x2) gave cap rewards. So between those 4 events, plus his release, plus his PvP you had a shot at 18 different covers for placement, and like 6 for progression rewards. Needless to say, a lot of people 13 covered him very quickly.

Cap was my first level 166 and I have not looked back since. He is pretty great at PvE and so I progressed quickly with Punisher following next to 166 and those 2 started letting me place quite well in PvP at the time. This is when top 10 got you 3 covers still. I think I may have gotten BP third, can't recall exact order now, but Cap/Pun was the cornerstone on which my roster was built.

I feel for people who's first 13 cover hero is Storm. Or Quicksilver (which is totally possible recently given how many they handed out). It's too bad single characters can't stand alone in a balanced universe but sad fact is some characters are Aces and some are not so good.

I covered Punisher during his heyday when he was considered strong. Shortly after, I finished 3Thor, when he was the strongest character available.

In the same 10 pack I got my 13th lazy Thor, patch, daken so take your pick. I levelled patch first, then Thor, then Daken.

First optimally covered 3* was lazy cap, so middle of the pack. (took me a little under 4 months).

Second was falcon, pretty enh.

Third was patch(!)

Once I had patch and lazy cap, I was able to push my 3*s above 100, start getting top 100 100s covers easily in pvp and join a better alliance, which really increased my cover rate (even before the daily quest was introduced).

Now I have 22 cover maxed 3*s and 8-10 more with 10+ covers. The growth rate really is exponential.

CMags back when he was a God. He single handedly carried me for months. While the rest of my roster was mostly 2*'s. Was sheer luck in events and a couple good pulls.

My first fully sorted 3* was Patch, My first fully covered 2* was either Thor or Black Widow, cannot quite recall which, and my first 1* was Iron man.

None of them can be accused of not carrying their weight.
