Running a silly team with Devil Dinosaur against an early round of Thanos and I matched the blue Infinity Stone.  After being granted 30 purple AP, it turned out that five dinosaur dances was just barely sufficient to finish him off.

Hope this doesn’t give a spoiler for Endgame to anyone

Add me to the list of lucky players who have pulled 5-star Carol out of the Galactic Heroes vault. Did it with my personal progression token from Thanos boss event. It's so nice when that happens. Don't have to worry about diminishing the hoard trying to get her for those darned 5E PvE nodes.

And that's important, because it looks like the stinky Latest 3 will encourage hoarding for a while.

Ten pulls, one Captain Marvel, and no other 5-stars.  I did get a bonus Namor cover with one of the 4-stars, to bring him to 0/3/2.

72 LTs in the hoard...and several million ISO in the hole with the 4-and 5-stars I currently own.

Pulled 7 gh tokens during this boss event with no luck on getting 5* until today when I used the tokens I got from both max progression rewards and got a c5rol red and surfer black. Surfer I had to save but 2 5* out of 9 pulls I am happy with that

I'm at the Mall with the wife & daughter doing the typical Husband/Dad thing, meaning I'm holding bags while they shop, and so I pull out my phone, also being the typical Husband/Dad thing, fire up MPQ (not so typical, I expect), and see there's just 30 minutes left on Fly-Fight-Win. Now I'm not a huge PvP guy. I'll go for the 10CP at 575 points or 16 wins, but climbing into 800-territory and beyond has always been a painful experience for me.

But I've got nothing else to do so I start the retaliation wins and my Champion Okoye, newly Championed Half-Thor, and a boosted 266 Captain Marvel just make a mess of everyone not fielding a GrocKitty team.

I get hit twice on my last minute climb and even though one of my attackers is not a GrocKitty team, knowing that them hitting me means they're climbing and not Shielded, I skip them both and look for safer targets that won't result in a tit-for-tat stalemate.

With roughly 5 minutes remaining I find myself in dangerous territory, being the low 800s. From previous experience I know that this is where I start to bend if not break MMR, where I'll win one 50-60 point match but find myself 100 points down from where I started because of the 3-4 losses.

I win another match and get to 860 points, and now it's like swimming in shark-infested waters.

I frantically skip several GrocKitty teams, and with just minutes remaining hit gold. An OML/Thoress team apparently worth 60 points. (I say "apparently" because we all know how that works in versus events.)

I know as long as the AI doesn't get a monster cascade to start the match, and as long as I can get the Team Ups and Black AP, my Thor/Okoye team can take down this team without breaking a sweat. The question is whether or not there's anyone else out there doing a literally last minute climb, and whether or not I'm on their radar.

I hit Fight! just as the wife comes up, hands me a pair of jeans, and asks me to go line up & buy them. I get in line, it's just me, two cashiers, and they're both serving a customer. Yes! I make a couple of matches and...

"Next customer, please."

NOOOO!!!

I make my purchase while being a good customer, meaning I don't rudely ignore the cashier but ignore my phone instead, even though a 4* cover is on the line and there's just minutes remaining in the event. But...

it's only a game.

That said, as soon as the purchase is concluded my phone comes out and I resume the match as I rejoin my wife & daughter.

We're walking back to our car and I take down Lady Thor first, then target OML to avoid Marvel doing her cheaty Absorption thing while trying to deny her Black AP as my Half-Thor does his thing.

I get the green AP but I don't have enough Team-Up AP where I feel like Okoye is able to do her thing. Half-Thor has helped collect some Yellow AP but it's not enough. I don't want to fire Indomitable Spirit just once, I need 14 AP so I can fire it twice to increase my chances of getting some more Team-Up AP.

Now we're in the parking structure heading towards our car but there's a problem. We parked in the underground lot, under Odin-only knows how many yards of concrete, structural steel, & rebar.

We're on the escalator when Half-Thor finally gets me 14 Yellow AP and I frantically start firing powers but now we're heading down to the underground (RIP, David Bowie!) and I collect some more Team-Up AP and the God of Thunder does his thing but their Marvel has still survived so my Marvel fires her Black to finish her off and the 900-point screen pops up with the Riri cover and I tap "Claim Award!!!"

And nothing happens.

I frantically mash the Claim Award button but I've lost cellular service and my data connection.

I snap a screenshot in case I need to contest this with Customer Service then I turn off my phone's screen, we get in the car, and head on back out, and as soon as I think it's safe to do so I unlock my phone and see the amusingly silly "Lost connection with the SHIELD servers" message.

Finally we're out in the open, service & data is restored, and...

TLDR: I made a last minute climb in Fly-Fight-Win, hit 900+ points in literally the last minute of the event just as I lost cellular service, but once service was restored the win was counted and I got the 4* cover!

OML became 5* champ number 18 for me today. Silver Surfer at 4/3/4 is probably my next best Classic candidate to be finished. 

Slowly, but surely, I am getting these Classics covered and added to the champ list.

Is it a good moment to finally pull a 5CM from GH after 37 pulls (with 69 CP left)?  I'll say yes since I also got a green cover for my 5/5/2 5SL and my Surfer left at 4/4/4, needing just 8 Mr F to champ him.  I won't dwell on the 4/37 rate being a bit short...

Yesterday I went from 0-900pts in a single push in 21 Guns. If you've been following my Grand Experiment thread, you'll know that I went from hitting 900 any time I cared enough to do it without shields as a 4* player to basically having to grind 40 wins every time with a single non-meta 5* champ. This time, I waited the better part of 2 days to start slice 1, and then with Gho5t Rider/War Machine (baby champ)/Chavez (297), I just pushed right on up. I wouldn't normally, but I popped a 24hr shield with 20hrs remaining to hang on to the points lol. I'll likely still end up t100 by the end, not really worth the HP, but I figured I'd make the most of it.

I always like it when you get a cascade effect with character rewards, as has just happened.

I completed today's DDQ to get a cover for 3* Bullseye. This makes Bullseye level 183 to give a cover for 4* Kingpin. This in turn brings Kingpin up to 280 which gives me my second ever cover for 5* Daredevil!

This morning's 3* Iron Man Lightning Round, I was trying to get the 500 points & 500 Iso, but with less than 10 minutes remaining I was at 440 points and the hits were coming in as fast as I could get the wins to offset them, and so I decided to pay 50HP to Shield for the remaining few minutes.

I got hit three more times but the Shield protected me against two of those, and got me a #8 spot, which got me three Heroic Tokens and 1,000 Iso (as opposed to #9 getting just two Heroics), so I figured that was a decent investment for my 50HP.

And then I pulled the Heroic Tokens.

3* Luke Cage. Cool. His Champion level got me another 1,000 Iso.

X-23. A 4* cover! Nice! Her Champion level gave me 4 CP.

Shuri? OMG!!! Another 4*. Shuri's Champion level gave me 4 more CP.

And then there was the BONUS Professor X cover! Yes, seriously! But it gets even better. Professor X's cover took him to 300, giving me an LT and setting me up for two 5* covers if he ever becomes a 5* Feeder.

This definitely made up for this PvP season's sucky 10-pack with its one 3* and nine 2*s.

After my clears this morning I noticed I had just a shade over 190,000 Iso.

That's a very important number because if you have a fully covered 5* at level 400, that's how much Iso you need to Champion them.

My Daredevil was fully covered and level 400. Now? He's joined Okoye, Thor, and Jessica as my fourth 5* Champion.

He may not be a power character like Okoye and Thor, but I still really like his powers...AND he's the 5E for Cosmic Chaos! Perfect timing!!!

I nabbed a 5-star Gambit today. That brings me to just two 5-stars I don't have rostered yet: Cap Marvel (who isn't in latests yet) and Doctor Octopus (with Doc Ock's feeder at level 276). Granted, several of the 5-stars are just one or two covers at the moment.
I'm starting to migrate more and more of my 4-stars to champ land, (with Wasp and Ant-Man with nine saved covers each climbing to 270 now). I'm just three covers away from Wiccan having 13 covers and down to just Namor as the only new 4 star I need more covers for that can be BHed at the moment. I'm finally at a spot with my roster where it's coasting as opposed to drowning in decisions I need to make.

Just wanted the Nick Fury cover from the new 41 items vault, my C4rol is at 5/4/2 +2 so i didn't need another C4rol black.
Did a 10 pull and got the Nick Fury cover, i'm happy and done pulling.

Hitting 900 points in Fight and Flight means I now have my first maxchamped fourstar.

Doing my final grind of the X-mansion sub and the Rogue node is just so slow. After two hits I glance at the clock and realize time is running out, so instead of hitting it a third time I decide to leave it and do the other nodes I have left. Managed to finish them fast, and when I go back to Rogue I get a very good board and manage to finish it just before the sub closed! That's two subs in a row finished in the nick of time.

Realised yesterday that the PVP season is almost finished and I was sitting at 8700 points, just maybe within reach of 10,000.

Got to 850 in Fight or Flight and threw up a shield for 8 hours so health packs could replenish.  Then decided to open my taco tokens for health and head into Shield Sim. I was at around 1800, knocked down from 2000 achieved early. So I started battling, using 390 Kitty with R4G and Bishop (yep, everyone's favourite team)

Soon enough, it was Gritty as far as the eye could see, and I was down to zero health packs.
Back to the tokens for 5 more health packs, and I'm now looking for any Gritty teams at similar level to me, even with Bishop.

Finally shielded out at 2234, 9993 for the season.

After the evening PVE grind and some more health pack replenishing, pushed up another 150 points in Fight or Flight: got the season CP, and got the Red iso, and shielded in good position for top25 finish.

I am satisfied. I don't want to be doing that again anytime soon
