    I was running Daredevil, 3* Elektra and 3* Deadpool in today’s “Dat Required Character” node in DDQ.  I already finished off two characters and had just cascaded up to 17 purple AP.   Right before I summoned a whale to end the battle, another thought occurred to me.  Elektra fired Double-Double Cross with no tiles on the board to gift three strike tiles to my opponent for Daredevil to promptly Radar Sense away, KOing the last guy.

    A thematically appropriately combo which is also incredibly stupid; how can that NOT be my moment of the day :)

    Going to bed with 600 points in BoP and waking up with 654. Carnage, Medusa, and Kraven putting in work.

    Woke up in the middle of the night so I got on MPQ for a bit and saw that there was a Punisher lightning round going on that just started so I got enough points to hit 250 for the two standard tokens. One of the standards gave me a 2* Mags. Not bad. Went back to sleep and when I woke up I was greeted with two heroics for top 50 placement in that lightning round. "What?!" I mean I wasn't expecting much considering that I jumped into the event within a few minutes of it starting and I usually get hit a few times. I went completely untouched. Ok so let's open these heroics and get my 2*s. The first gave me a Psylocke with a bonus Mags which gave me 250 hp and just two covers away from my tenth Prof X. The other heroic gave me another 2* Mags.Very cool.

    In Balance of Power I had a good run and got to 880 points after 20-something wins (I didn't Shield when I took a few breaks so I lost a lot of points). I actually thought I was going to clear 900 but after winning a 30-point match it just brought my score back up to ~850. Grr. I won another two matches and was still at 850. I know, I know. It's just par for the course when you're almost to 900. I've been there quite a few times. I still felt demoralized though, so I threw up a 24-hour Shield to get me through the evening, the night, and the better part of the next day.

    That next day, with 8 hours to go, I queued up a few Grockadusa teams, but there were literally 8 hours to go in the event, so I figured that that would not be a good time to break my Shield. By the time I left work there were just 5 hours to go, and that seemed like a much better time.

    After winning three matches I still hadn't lost any points and was up to ~960 so when I saw I had one more Grockadusa team worth ~40 points in my queue, I couldn't resist. I RHulk Bombed them as well, cleared the Ton for the first time ever, then Shielded for the remainder of the event.

    I finished 16th, which isn't T10, but I was still happy with that, especially as I'd gotten not just the 4-star cover but the red Iso reward in significantly less than 40 wins.

    Three 5* out of 7 pulls from the Xavier's Finest store! The 7th pull was Shadowcat purple, so I'm covered for her Essentials now.

    I went in to Xavier’s Finest with a personal record CP stash of 299. Got a purple Kitty on pull 1, stopped there in advance of the anniversary. From the round 1 Galactus token that came right after I got a champ level for Wiccan. Considered buying a lottery ticket on the way home, but that was a step too far.

    Pulled off the rare Turn 0 kill in the Hulk node of Galactus Hungers.  Used Main Event Hulk, and cascades off of his tile destruction killed off Sentry.  Thanos snapped his fingers, and the match ended. :)

    Managed to get all the fourstar items in the Hulk vault. Weeklong events are a bit of the chore, but weeklong vaults have their advantages.

    This was actually from yesterday, but... I got the alliance token for the Galactus vault and got an LT. That LT gave me a Mr. F... and a Grocket! Pretty good for a single token that I thought would give me a random 2*

    On my last hop for Divine Champions I managed 3 wins-- each against a champed Thanos and each with my 5Thor having less than 1000 health.  I also didn't pull any Wasp covers today.  (I didn't pull any 5s either but I'm focusing on the bright side.)

    With my alliance legendary token from Galactus I pulled my tenth Spider Gwen with a bonus Spider Gwen. So now I am down to just Nebula, Dazzler and Jubilee that are under ten covers. I should probably focus on Jubilee since she only has four covers but I realllly want to get Dazzler champed soon. Decisions, decisions. I think I'm more shocked that I didn't pull yet another Iron Fist. Seems like I always get a Fist in an alliance event. Well this time I got some teenage kicks.   ;)

    Running MEHulk/Chavez in BFF. Took on a Grockamora team, and Grand Entrance took out all but two of their Strikes before the match even started!

    Had my two tokens for Xavier's store which gave me dud fours. But then I cashed in my Galactus tokens and got a third Xavier token, which gave me... Kitty.

    With all temptation removed to use CP, my hoard can breathe easy.

    Got a red Kitty from alliance progression making her 1/0/1 and a green Phoenix from personal progression making her 3/0/4 (can't get a purple to save my life).

    I believe I finished that store 6/55, about 11 percent. Not great, but better than the 2/43 (4.7 percent) I was at one point.

    My personal Progression token in Xavier's Finest gave me a Phoenix red with bonus Okoye red. Purple and black, respectively, would have been ideal, but I ain't complaining!

    Hit a thousand points for the first time without a shield. I also got my letter from Hogwarts so apparently I'm a wizard now.
