Nothing has been cited anywhere, but a friend just started playing. He's been winning a fair number of matches, nothing to put him at the top of a sub or anything like that, but the enemies top out way lower. Still insanely high in relation to his roster, but lower than mine.

Haha, it's like everyone suddenly forgot that these matches aren't level 230 for everyone all the time, stop making that assumption. And you can retreat to lower them. Please, stahp, or just report and leave it off the forums.

On a related note, the person I was racing with in 2nd place in my main PvE bracket was just removed from the listing (banned presumably), so the devs ARE taking out the actual cheaters. And suddenly I have a 2k lead over the new 2nd haha

It just bugs the **** out of me that the way to win these tournaments is to be OCD about "tanking", losing on purpose and playing at the right times for maximum rubberbanding and resets. It's such **** game design that it makes those who take advantage of these exploits look like cheaters. In most games, exploiters ARE cheaters but in this game it seems to be encouraged.

I guess it wouldn't bug me as much if they hadn't screwed up the reward distribution in the latest PvE tournament. I really hope they fix that...

My matxhes have been level 230 since 30 minutes into the event. I've had 10-20 legit losses and went hours without playing. They are still at 230.

I've killed my entire roster (except for patch/OBW/spidey) multiple times, and never gotten them below 150. And then they're all back to 230 after one fight

My highest level character is lv 15 and I was in top 100 of my main PVE bracket without playing much. I played quite a bit in the first two sub brackets before giving up as enemies were starting to go up to 30-40. Then the following strategy helped me:

1. Rubberbanding. All main-bracket missions are worth 400 to 2000 points for me. I've stopped playing sub brackets since there are more than enough points in main bracket missions.
2. Tank. I keep cycling through characters I won't use and retreat with them. Do it in a mission that has "team up" character so you only use 2 of your own characters. Opponents are level 15 to 23 for me now.
3. Make use of boosted characters and team up characters like Wolverine and Black Widow. If it's a team up character, I use some low level characters of my own so I don't lose health points.
4a. Max cover Classic Hawkeye. People underestimate him but his red and purple can clear countdown tiles in those all-goon missions. Mine is Level 1!
4b. Play smart. Sometimes you have to think several steps ahead. Like make a match that will drop tile X this turn so I can make a match-4 next turn which will destroy a column along with enemy's countdown tile. This along with Hawkeye means I rarely lose in those all-goon missions.
5. Luck.

I've been stuck with 230 teams for the past few days, and looking into my bracket for people ahead and behind me in the top and all i see are low lv covers. The system is really broken when people, who have covers lv 50 or lower beating people who have put in time & money into this game.

Entirety of my top 10 in Thieves main bracket is 1-stars not even maxed. Something doesn't add up.

Breaking news from Loki LR. The guy on top place is leading with Iron Man 35, Juggernaut and Modern BW as his max level characters. The only threat in his roster is a 1-2-1 Patch at level 30. He doesnt even have a Loki.

Starting to sound like the worst decision they made was relating this in Steam lol. Anyways, looks like they are catching them well enough where legitimate players should be able to still play without much worry.

still confusing, how can low level rosters compete in this pve/pvp
most of may bracket top10 don't even have lv40 3s. no spidey, not even thor/wolvie. how the hell they beat other players without sacrificing so many boost.[even now cost at hp].still if they manage to win in 1 round. they will be gravely wounded.
i see some screenshot with amazing hp point and iso. confirmed my thought, there were a lot of cheaters now.
dev, fix this. or legit palyers who spend money won't play cause these cheaters [for ur financial sake too, right?]
