So Many Cheaters?!

I legitimately placed 2nd in a No Man's Land with a 30-40 level *mBW, *mStorm, and a nothing **Moonstone. I was only fighting people with similar/worse rosters the whole time and just ground like mad for the last hour of the tourney. My points were going up quite quickly, even though I'm sure better teams were forced into harder matches and plateaued lower than I did.
^Edit: I'm not saying the devs aren't incompetent, but it is a difficult problem. You basically have to choose to constantly reward better teams (makes the barrier for progress of n00bs incredibly steep) or reward people who put in time/play at the correct times (cries of foul from 3* teams losing to 1* teams). You could separate the player base (ala Elite tournaments) but if there are "beginner" tournaments, you can bet advanced players will find a way to crash them.0 -
Slo316 at the top of my main bracket atm, roster seems kind of fishy to me0

Any dev wanna tell me why a guy with a no good characters can be leading my bracket?? Insane and dumb0

I have no doubt hacks exist, but let me share my own experience... i started about 3 weeks ago. Have some 1,2 & 3 star characters. My strong guys are around lvl 50. By no means am I a top tier team. With enough work I regularly place in the top 5-30 in PVP. Here's what I noticed:
My MMR has nothing to do with my bracket. The people I play are not the same people in my bracket. Everyone should know this.
MMR ranking - after placing high in a PvP I notice my opponents in the next tourney are considerably better, almost unbeatable for my mid tier team. To help prevent this I spend an hour or so strategically losing matches in lightning rounds. By the time I enter the next PvP tourney my opponents start at a much lower lvl. Now with the changes to tanking, it's definitely harder to lose a high % of matches, but I think it can still be done. I find this to be the only way for a new team to succeed and get high ranking covers.
My pt is, there are probably cheaters, but also people like me doing their best to stay competitive within the confines of the game mechanics. Without full disclosure from the Devs on how MMR works, there's no way to really know.0 -
Seeing those low tier rosters in pve with 27k+ points there is only one conclusion: this event is the tinyest of kitties broken.0

Before accusing people of cheating cicle through their roosters, they arent necessarily sorted by level0

Did it. Best was a level 55 hulk.0

I didn't even know the steam version of the game could now connect with the savegame in facebook. I should try this cheating thing. Seems to be the only way to get anywhere.0

Same here in my bracket. I'm #2 behind the #1 by like 300 points. His best character is a level 35 astonishing wolverine. NO way in hell he has like 30,000 points with a roster like that, I don't care how many points you get on the main missions. I want to get my Daredevils, and then really really really consider whether or not I even want to play this game anymore
EDIT: With all these hacks for Steam, I'm almost tempted to try the steam version and just get a trainer and cheat just like these guys are. If you can do that, there's no point in me playing legitimately on my iOS.0 -

Yes you can. You just need to keep losing all the time to lower the level of fights you get. It takes **** ton of time but it is possible0 -

Or you could save time and just cheat. I don't think anyone will feel bad for winning those covers and then having time to actually go out and live a life.0 -
Using bugged Patch for hella strike tiles and tanking to drop the levels I got first in the last Family Reunion. My characters are only in the 40 to 50 range.0

Pretty much what I did this PVE event. With Patch bugged early on he was a powerhouse even at lvl 15. Combine 8/12 strike tiles from his green and OBW espionage my widow was hitting for about 3k a match.
After R47 hit I sold my 85 **wolv (my only >lvl60 char at the time) and got Patch to lvl 75. Can still hit 2k each match but need to play more carefully now.0 -
Regarding lower levels leading your PVE sub-bracket, the enemies in this scale based on the player's level. If all your characters are lower, enemies will get to level 75-ish, and cap out somewhere around 150. It's only with a higher level roster they go all the way to 230.0

Probably has a 5 blue cover spidey... that 5th cover was like getting the key to the PVE castle.
I fear nothing now.
Takes catastrophically bad luck on blue tiles to not maintain stun lock throughout.0
