take that time and push it into a PVP and your going to get anywhere from 6 to 18 covers 600+ hp and a ton my crystal.

I jumped on the 4pm est time today and played around 2 hours ended up in 8th got 2 covers and 100 HP and 2000 tokens. for 2 hours of work its more then i will get out of playing this for 5 days LOL

Compare that to Deadpool daily(20 minutes for 2500~ iso and a cover) and we look straight foolish playing 7 day events for 2 covers.

Right now, feeling like I've got a decent chance at top 10, especially since the next two days are better for me than the last three have been. There's essentially three of us competing for it, assuming none of the top 9 drop back (I think #9 is ~3k ahead of me at #10). Was in #11 at the end of Alaska 2, but finished all of the Florida nodes (I had only done some of them yesterday) and took about a 2k lead on Rio_D at #11.

This is probably not worth the effort, but there's a reason the sunk cost fallacy is one of the most popular fallacies.

What team are you using for ragnarok III? My best team has a 50/50 shot at pulling it off and banks on being able to get 2x sniper rifle shots off without the match taking so long that rags new shenanigans get to start rolling. I'm noticing anyone with a covered and leveled to 200+ xf/tgt combo can rack up points pretty darn fast, where I just struggle to clear it reliably.

It may even out in the end and we'll be right back where we are now. Neck and neck.

Well played sir, this is where I bow out. The lead over sixth place is large enough that I can reasonably coast the rest of the way. This scheduled clearing is beyond my realm of sanity...time for me to actually spend some time with my family and enjoy the weekend lol...I'll sneak in the next clear first though since they are still sleeping hehe.

Which one is that? I've only got Florida open now, so I can't see it. I'm usually using some combination of X-Force/Luke Cage/Patch/Lazy Daken/Rocket and Groot, depending on difficulty and availability. My Goddess is still 3/2/2 and at her soft cap at 147th level, so I haven't been using her.

Yeah, I've reached the point of likely coasting just enough to place top 100 in the remaining subs. I can't make up the 2k point lead that 10th has on me, but sitting at about 15 I should be pretty well guaranteed top 50.

Ben I am fairly sure you will get it. I really can't play much tomorrow, and I also really want the pvp Fury. So my resources will most likely go to that. But I won't make it easy!

It's closed for me too now, but it was the last essential on the right. gsbw required vs rag daken moonie I think. If I don't wipe patch usually goes down before I can down everyone.

Luckily I can sneak in clears quickly and grinds are happening when people are busy so I'm fairly safe I think. I agree that the schedule is a pain in the tinykitty, but I only play about 1/4 of PVEs this way so not so bad overall. I grinded the tinykitty out of the one for Cyclops and took it way casual on the rest of them since now. If it wasn't an extra cover for first I'd have not worried about it.

Alright, it's finally happened. Florida is scaled too high for me to even clear every node once. Almost all are set to hard. I have to rely heavily on storm & magneto who are too squishy. I'll have have to rely on the essential points. Really disappointing

I don't have any right to expect you to. Kinda sucks one of us won't get it. Maybe one of the other guys will get trapped in the negative zone tomorrow or something. Terrible wifi there.

I wimped out and did Iron Fist + X Force on every node. The third person doesn't even matter though Thor is probably the best choice for tanking the random 5K hits you take from goon powered match 4s, Onslaught, or Chemical Reaction. I guess although I come out 3750 HP behind on Iron Fist, it got me through the hard nodes without much effort, though I'm still unable to catch up to puzzlequestm (who only recently completed Thor and doesn't have a usable IF, a mind boggling feat given he consistently has the highest score in top 10 PvE alliances). Most of these fights are over by turn 5 after 10 Surgical Strikes, and yes sometimes you end up Surgical Strike on 2 tiles to just get rid of black AP so you can do Iron Fist of K'un Lun again. I also found out that Surgical Strike will not trigger if there are no tiles eligible to be destroyed when I was trying to get rid of black AP.

I think I usually used some combination of X-Force/Deadpool/Cage/Rocket & Groot. Took out Ares first, tried to collect purple, tried to avoid matching green until I could use GSBW's purple, and took advantage of whatever was on the board for the others. Usually focused on activating GSBW's green.

The scaling on the latest Florida is crazy. One of the nodes STARTED at 150 levels higher than me. It took me 2 hours to get to it and it had already gone up 12 levels. I used every boost I had and barely beat it. I was going to save it for later since I knew it was a red checkmark node but with how fast it was scaling that would have been suicide.

Whooooeee, my Bullseye III node in the final Savage Land sub is at 287 for Bullseye, Ares and Venom. It pretty much ruined my handful of 166's without effort.

Interestingly enough, I managed to beat it unboosted...with Black Panther, Human Torch and Spiderman - none of which are fully leveled. I have a feeling the game is telling me I need to keep expanding my 3-stars so I can experiment with different groupings on nodes like this.

Anyone else have a problem with the latest Alaska sub not opening? Mine just has a blank green bar on it, no text. My overall rank is steadily plummeting without those points.

The final Alaska sub closed yesterday. It won't open again before the end of the event.

Edit: In slice 1, anyway. Haven't worked the math to figure when it ends in the other slices.

With the last Florida closed, in 9th place, about 11-12k up on #11. That will probably shrink a bit - I double cleared Savage Land before bed last night to free up as much time to grind Florida down this morning as possible - but feeling good about top ten.
