    Positive aspects :

Lots of Iso, supposedly less grinding, BUT

    Negative aspects :

Crazy scaling for bigger rosters, so you can't grind crazily at the end of each node, and you end up : Top 50 and no way you can score Top 10 anymore if your scaling is bad.

My worst ranking ever for a new character. But also the cheapest event for me, since I hardly spent anything on boosts and health packs.

The same competitive PvEs over and over again become really boring. It's high time for a change, and no more competition.

I wouldn't mind scoring high points to get the covers, and work hard, but this competition is draining.

T3 in my main were all 270 4Thor/XForce/Fury...
  • Cast my vote for keeping the subs 12 hours. I love the ISO, HP, and Token rain. It's been the most rewarding PVE I've played in a while.

I'd rather have 12 hours than 36. I'd like a 24h standard the best, but that doesn't seem likely.

This is how I feel. Can't deny the frequent prizes being handed out feels good, but...I feel like I'm being left behind all day because I can't commit to grinding 4 sub events down to nothing daily. It's not fun, it's kinda stressful, something the 8 hour refreshes once eliminated.

I missed a whole sub event on Saturday because I went out and did something in a social environment instead of playing MPQ. That knocked me way down the ladder. Also work has caused me to miss times. I wake up, have lunch, grind before work then when I come back from work I have dinner and grind them before bed. I like just doing a single clear and leaping on occasionally for some PvP. It was more chilled out, more fun and took less time.

With these subs I feel I need to spend 2 hours out of every 12 at least to grind the nodes down to gain enough points.

What I like to do is if I know I'm going to be busy just grind the goon nodes whenever...not worried about optimal anything or refresh times, the nodes are so short won't matter much. I'm 78 right now and I have hardly even played. Maybe one node each sub the most valuable ones, the last few sub events.

Previously when it was 2.5hrs cooldown for 12 hour sub it was:

    Time / Grind no.
    0 hour / 1
    2.5hours / 2
    5th hour / 3
    7.5th hour / 4
    10th hour / 5
    11th hour / 6

    Total of 6 grinds.

    New 8hour cooldown:

    Time / Grind no.
    0 hour / 1
    8th hours / 2
    11th hour / 3

    Total of 3 grinds

They've effectively halved the no. of grinds. Not too certain why people are grumbling about this change. I'm loving it so much!
I mean if you just choose the most sensible end-time you can effectively plan your play for it with minimal disturbances to your pesky real life.

We've got a good thing going with 8 hour cooldowns, and the Brotherhood is essentially the LR of PVE. Please don't jinx it...

Your chart is wrong. It should be more like this:

    2.5 hr refresh:
    Time / Grind no.
    0 hour / 1
    2.5 hours / 2
    5th hour / 3
    7.5th hour / 4
    10th hour / 5
    11th hour / 6-7

    8 hr refresh:
    Time / Grind no.
    0 hour / 1
    8 hours / 2
    8th-12th hour / 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

If you are only doing 3 clears per 12 hour sub, I would be amazed if you came out with more than 1 cover plus possibly alliance cover.

I like 12 hour subs when I do not care about the overall event rewards. I did not need the cover given out the last time this event ran, so I could skip some subs and just get the more generous HP rewards when I could play. This time I still skipped subs because I'm on vacation and prefer to spend the time with my family. I didn't get an individual Cyclops reward, but I should still get the alliance cover, the next pve progression cover, and 3-4 covers from the PVP that offers him.

With 8 hour refreshes and 6 stacks per node, most of the grinding for top PVE performers has been compressed into the last 4-8 hours of a sub, depending on sub length. I think a sub schedule of 36, 24, 24, 24. . . is the best compromise between people who like frequent sub rewards and those who can't final grind twice a day.
  • If you are only doing 3 clears per 12 hour sub, I would be amazed if you came out with more than 1 cover plus possibly alliance cover.

I guess the exception proves the rule, but I was doing 1 clear most subs and finished 46th for 2 covers. Nobody says you have to enter before the event starts...
  • I have to say I like the 12 hour subs. Yeah, it's a grind, but this is also the first time I've pulled off a new character from a PvE event. True, that probably has to do with finally getting a strong 3/4 star roster, but still...

On top of Cyclops, I pulled a Falcon, a Blade, an Elektra, and a Squirrel Girl with my rewards and didn't pay a dime for the event.

I feel like I'm finally getting to where all my effort (and money) is paying off and I'm getting a built-in ROI. With minimal effort, we're getting at least four event tokens a day with 12 hour subs.

I hate the 12 hour subs. For me it nearly totally takes away the advantage of the 8 hour cooldown. Sure, the faster awards are nice, but I feel like I have to play a lot more. If I go 24 hours without playing the game that's two sets of subs missed. That doesn't only mess with my point totals, but if I was paying attention to the plot (which I generally do even in a repeat,) I miss a whole hell of a lot entirely.
