I guess that makes sense for you. But maui was playing exactly when I was, when I got points, he got points and then I would go in again and he would still be 2 to 4k ahead. He never stopped gaining points. He gained points while i was away and while I was away. So I would like to know what he did. icon_e_smile.gif

After the second sub, he was 1800 points ahead of you and 2500 points ahead of me. All 3 of us were getting the full 6300 per clear during sub3, with the following exceptions. You lost about 1000 points by doing second clear 8hours early. I lost about 600 points for doing the second clear 5 hours early. Muie811 lost about 300 points for doing his third clear early.

So through 4 clears, Muie was 2500 points ahead of you and 2900 points ahead of me. Both of you had full points available around the 2 hour mark, so he was able to virtually match your points for the last 2 hours and maintain the lead he built at the end of the second sub.

We were all close enough to the the top score that there was no rubberband.

If you do the math, in a 36h sub, by doing one 8 hour clear followed by rotating 6s, you'll get an additional clear in and should be approximately half a clear ahead of someone who did perfect 8s. 24h subs don't have enough wiggle room for that though.

Wish the people that already have xforce maxed would slow down and let me get top 2. At 4th place currently with 3 hours to go. "Chey..." and "ZeroWkrad" I'm talking to you!

Zero definitely did slow down and stopped grinding at around 45 minutes before the end, which was very cool of him as it let me and Chey get the covers. Also Chey only needed the one cover to max out his X-Force, so there was definitely no reason for him to pull any punches.

    Let's do the math

8 hour clears at 0,8,16,24,32 = 5 full clears with 5/6 point values available for extra clear in last 4 hours.

8/6 hour clears at 0,8,14,20,26,32 = 5 and 7/12 full clears with 4/6 point values available for extra clear in last 4 hours.

So while you are a little over half a clear ahead, the player who did perfect clears will move 1/4 clear ahead with an extra clear and then can match points from there.

It is never to your advantage to clear early if you can clear on time. However, it is better to clear early than clear late. The only exception would be if the nodes are so difficult or lengthy that you could not do more than 3 clears in the last 4 hours. If that is the case, then this method could net you a slight increase in points

After the 2nd sub, I was up by 2k points in the main (also clearing the main nodes for 200 every 8 hours is essential, some people missed those?) - the main part of the 2nd sub was grinding all the nodes even when they were at 100 points. I hit em all to below 50~.

In the 3rd sub, I cleared when it opened, 8 hours later, 6 hours later (due to being at work), 8 hours later, 8 hours later, and grinded into the ground. I realized that we were quite on par in 3rd sub because we were doing roughly 8 hour clears each and waiting for the refresh, so it really came down to who could grind more at the end. I still had two of my nodes with decent points (like 200-300~) but fighting Doom fed by bots makes me cry if you get a bad cascade. There was a very minor difference in 3rd sub between us, my lead from the 2nd sub helped me sustain finishing slightly higher in the main bracket.
