I'll send a ticket in to D3 though my confidence in their support is nil as I still have an outstanding ticket back when the Simulator ran at the beginning of the new year.
@lukewin: Would you please send me those screen captures if you still have them?
Do you use the LINE app? I have the same forum name, LINE name and in game name.0 -

Looking back at it, I never bothered to grind 3x before bedtime, or bothered grinding nodes more than once each refresh, so #1 was definitely within reach (but then again I'm sure treponem would have started grinding more- so thanks everyone else in the top 10 for this bracket for not starting an arms race of amount of sleep missed. )
Apologies to Aquila77 for jumping them by 400 odd points in the last 10 minutes though - I think I was about 3k points behind so they might have thought they were pretty safe with ~20 minutes to go on the event. Had to bust out the saved up +all boosts and grinded that low level node with 3 villains that all died to one powered up c storm windstorm a few times.
Shard 4 was a battle.

That's nuts - John is the highest score in our alliance, and the idea that our team placement is higher than his individual one seems crazy to me.
My 162k was good for second in the slice 1 bracket that filled before Sumilea's. Hex from skynet2 led the whole way and ended over 180k.0 -

30k lower and you ended up with an extra cover over him.0 -

Hell of a push there, trisul. Nice job eaking out a top 5 by like, an extra nodes worth of points0

Pushed that sub like crazy to put the pressure on, and I think velvet started the last push a tiny bit late. Wow, didn't think I had a chance.
My alliance eeked out T50 by 3000 points. What an insane competition this time around.0 -

There's really no need to be _that_ stingy with that single cover, awarding it to another 1000 people wouldn't break the economy.0 -
Wow, my bracket was interesting...
Me (from Retribution) & Alfradrod of Hail.Hydra were duking it out for #1.
When we both entered final 3 hrs.....our scores were as follows:
alfradrod: 182096
NoMistake: 182096
Yes... same through out the final 1 day chapter.
He had a better refresh timing .... so ended up
alfradrod: 201804
NoMistake: 200239 (When left 10 min, I kinda see a 1.1k gap... and my nodes were 250 & below.... furthermore, he still got 500-600 points nodes...so slacked off a bit).
Overall, it was fun .... slept 2.5hrs each refresh.... (on a weekday) ....
Nice face off.
#3 was KennyBenny at 181969
#4 was THANOS at 180634
#5 was LoKITTY at 180366
#6 was Twoslot at 179579
#7 was Cortez43 at 177406 (something happened over weekend as he was easily in contention for top 5 with me ... there were 6 ppl going for 5 places)
#8 was LunarNimbus at 175902
#9 was coates at 175138
#10 was Whispered at 171000
Thanks & see u all next pve (except alfradrod)
NoMistake
p/s: I read other ppl mentioned you (alfradrod)... u were top 5 in pve everywhere u go ... guess u gave me a good run for my money.0 -

Super Bowl happend. After 25 hours awake, i had enough and slept 6-7 hours on monday from 9 am to roughly 3 pm (german time). It was brutal. At the end, i tried for 5th but i ran out of health packs. So I called it a day with 15 minutes to go and got myself a nice breakfast instead. It wasn't to bad for me. I got a very lucky token draw:
(from a daily reward heroic token)
the two Covers and enough HP for two roster slots (DP and SL)
+ a great SB game. It was alright.0 -

I was never able to crack Top 10. That 8 hr refresh spoiled me and I am glad it will be back. I thought I had it in me to go for T5, then saw the competition (Sumilea is never a name I want to see in a bracket, Congrats, by the way). I thought S1 was one way to avoid him. Settled for T10, but then the SY fiasco killed my morale, despite getting some points. DIdn't wanna risk grinding it too hard for possible other bumps. If D3 wants to give me an extra cover, it would be pretty sweet. If I can help anyone else get a cover, I'd be willing to help
You can blame IReallyHatePVP as he said jump into slice one pool. With 3 hour refresh timers and if I plan to hit most of them I have a wide choice of Slices - S1 finishes during lunch break, S2 after I get home from work etc. The only one that is not really good is slice 4. With 8 hour refreshes that changes a little.
I need to crunch the numbers on what difference in points you get for a given number of nodes in the final refresh. But my gut feeling is there not much difference (16.6% of a refresh score between the best and worst methods).0 -

....and way back in 27th, with 137k, me.
I got up to about 18th with 1:15 remaining, put the game down, read for a bit (Jeff VanderMeer's Annihilation - enjoying it so far) checked placement - 21st with 30 minutes left - and went to bed figuring I was safe (which I was). And now I've got a Starlord for the PVE I don't need a single cover that's being offered in. At least my OCD "Gotta Catch 'Em All" is sated.0 -

I think we joined about halfway through the first sub. Don't know how much that accounts for the diff in final points at the top.
I started out only hoping to maintain top five. After holding the the top spot mid-way through the 2nd sub, I began to feel compelled to defend the rest of the way.
I can't wait for 8h refreshes...0 -

Had a similar story, but my competition stopped contending a bit earlier; I missed one single refresh in Sub 1 and was behind by 1300~ points; managed to cut the lead in half going into the third sub; and grinded out a sizable lead going into the final sub. Only in the last sub, could finally afford normal sleep and triple clearing before bed. (NOT blaming anyone here or complaining; I placed myself in that position. I enjoy competition, and will only enjoy it more with longer refreshes.)0 -
I'm curious if there's a list of what alliances scored (like top 50) in the TaT...just wanted to see if my alliance (which bumped me for TaT) would have still gotten the StarLord covers with my score instead of the lowest merc...I thought I saw alliance rankings/scores for something before, but don't remember if it was just season rankins or each event...
Thanks for the info...0 -
lukewin wrote:I do got the screens. Was bored and interested to see what happened. It would be awesome if they extended the 3rd cover to some arbitrary number and the 2nd cover to at least 16, which is where I landed. I didn't have it in me to continue pushing. Congrats russreid91, on landing in 4 despite the SY fiasco. You kinda proved D3's point though, so in regards to that BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

So to my complete surprise, when I logged on this afternoon, I had 100 HP, 3000 ISO, and a Yellow Starlord. Miracles can happen!!! Thanks D3 for this, I was not expecting it at all.0
