Yeah was gonna mention this too. From alliance mates accounts there seem to be two open brackets per slice, one for vets and one for newer players. We tend to track the vet bracket in this thread.

Slice 3 should close around January 13th, if there is a bug and the event is extended.

It only filled 8 spots in about 5 hours so it doesn't seem to be all that close. It'll take about 30 hours at that rate, but as you point out maybe there will be some point people decide to jump in. Like tonight after everyone is off work or done with dinner or whatever.

Slice 4 is still at 951 at 4:19pm EST. This is the trouble - they don't fill at a constant rate, they just fill when people join and that's going to wax and wane (mostly wane) as time goes on.

I'll keep posting as I can but I'll be busy tomorrow.

But the random people, not on this forum, jumping in have 5 options to chose from.

At the most recent rate of acquisition, slice 4 is now looking to finish in another 26 hours. That assessment is definitely volatile though, as you might get people with stronger rosters (i.e. not new baby rosters who it has been determined have a concurrent open bracket for slice 4), who don't play as much, and could be hopping in over the weekend, or it could slow to an even more stagnant rate and might not fill until late Sunday or early Monday, if at all. With just 43 more players needed, I'm still thinking it will finish up and there should be a fresh bracket sometime in the next 36 hours.

No idea on slice five though.

I believe I entered Monday night, around 9PM EST, after I saw gamblor's post about his slice 4 bracket, probably an hour after it was posted. Fairly new bracket at that point. So this one has now been open for 4 full days.

Slice 5 is still at 461, and has been open since around the opening of the 2nd sub, so yeah, your only chance is that that slice 4 fills

Slice 4 is at 960. I guess we'll see.

I joined about an hour after j12601 - 10pmish Monday.

I think at this stage we can say that we will get multiple brackets on the day the PVE opens - after that you kind of have to take your chances. One of the slices will probably open up, but it is by no means a sure thing. Dividing the players 5 ways has definitely affected how brackets fill.
