There is definitely more than one sub in slice 3 at the moment, I play mainly on my phone but I created a profile on my Steam account a while back. I don't do a lot with the second account, but I decided to join the same slice a little earlier to see how many people were in the current bracket of slice 3 (and if this worked as a method in the first place). My steam account got into a bracket that had well over 500 people in it already, and scores were lower than the one for the account on my phone. I think this has something to do with how long you've been playing or maybe MMR (if this is taken into account for PVE), since I haven't played much (if any) PVP on Steam, but I could be mistaken.

Wow, they are really sharding the tinykitty out of this event. I feel sorry for anyone that joins the event in a bracket that has had over 24 hours and a previous sub headstart...what's the point?

There are frequently a deep end and kiddie pool brackets filling at the same time. Take enough PvE events off and you can jump in the kiddie pool for the 4 star releases.

By running 36 hour subs, you are only finishing top50 by missing sleep anyway for a 4star that looks closer to IW than XForce or 4Thor. Blue Daredevil and Purple Loki are good rewards now.

I guess - it is more from a fairness issue than anything else. I got a fresh bracket to start last night and have been hanging in the top 10 without much trouble. Locked in almost a 2k lead at the end of this first sub.

My Daredevil has been cover maxed for awhile (I think I'm going to keep him 5/3/5 anyways) and Loki is in ideal position considering the buff (5/2/1), so no other goodies to try and get besides Elektra. Pains me to say that.

(I don't aim for top ranks but I'd like to avoid being #980 to enter a bracket this time...)

The sub-based rubber banding makes it near impossible to catch up now if you join a bracket that was open for the prior sub. They probably need to fix this if they're sticking to having 10 concurrent main brackets filling

They might want people to play from the start of the end and not just hop in in the last sub or something. But yes it you dont join in the first sub and have no spotter for then the current one is full your pretty much $£%^£"&. I think it going to take 100 hours to fill my current sub.

At the current fill rate S2 main will not be full until into the 4th sub. Its adding around 10 players an hour since it opened nearly 20 hours ago.

Update on Slice 4 - presumably the deep end. 688 players at roughly 5:40pm EST

Leader is DuckyV again at 21640. Top 10 ends with Ifrared at 1754.

So we only added another 100 or so over the day - this isn't looking good for anyone wanting to jump in late. Looks like we get some brackets fill on the first day, then the last one pretty much stays open for a long damn while - possibly the whole event.

My alliance fellow and I played the last 45' of the sub. Entering around #200 is quite nice after all.
Initially we planned to wait to enter a fresh bracket later; but at the rate of filling we would have join this very same bracket... but without any point of the 1st sub!
Sure, I like time slice option but I have to be aware that now it's dangerous to wait too much before entering in such slow-filling bracket

Well you only have 200 people to complete with for the top prizes for one. As I do not rate this 4* as highly as the goddess of thunder am I going to double clear at night and sleep for my normal 5 or 6 hours. (Only aiming for top 5 as I am doing this)

I'd actually be more excited if she was a 3*. I really don't have any ability to fully cover a 4* save by random chance. I am not going to grind the hell out of this - I just want one cover for the essentials next time and if I fail to get that, I'll be "whatever."

Incidentally, Slice 4 bracket is at 771. Did not fill today, if it continues to fill at the rate it has been going it might fill tomorrow or Thursday, but it is entirely possible it won't fill.
