    This is around 36 hours after I posted the bracket at 826. So in 36 hours, we've added a whopping 100 players.
    Yesterday we were averaging roughly 3.4 players an hour. Since then the average has dropped to 2.7 players over those 36 hours. It is still likely to finish even if we drop to an even slower pace, but it's getting to be a lengthy bracket to fill.

    Also - Ducky is crushing this. Big time.

    Slice 4 is at 943 as of about 10am EST - so we added a bit less than 20 over night. DuckyV continues to crush, crush, crush our heads!

    a show of hands everyone that is waiting here (most likely Slice 4) as that seems to be the only one coming up with a new bracket soon..

    There are quite a few vets waiting for a new slice 4. I don't think it's going to be a cake walk by any means but I'd imagine most, if not all, of us can get in the top 50 for a single cover. Top 10 and beyond will be quite a bit more difficult.

    well im fine with a top 50 single cover considering the entire idea waiting was to not commit a 7 day marathon. I have had my share of consistent first place finish one after the other, and after a few months I feel quite exhausted.. cannot keep up with this many new characters... aside from the recent additions, pretty much I have 90% of the 3* covers, so I am just going to play comfortably.

    Edit: after the q&a talking about even more 4* on the way I'm not super interested in killing myself over a somewhat situational 4*. If not for the new pve or new game mode or whatever is next that will require her I wouldn't even bother at all

    I'll be in slice 4 too, but the weekend is never a good time for me to play. I'd be happy with a top 50

    Sadly, I'm the opposite--I was ready for a grind! I was going to join about 18 hours after the event started but saw that the bracket was half full so I figured I would wait a couple hours for a fresh bracket. Five days later and I'm still waiting. icon_e_surprised.gif

    you know how it goes, next event, everyone will join on day 2 after seeing how slow it is now. So if anything I will still wait as long as possible for the next one.

    Add me to the list of those patiently waiting. Seeing as how few (1) slices rolled over into a new bracket the last few days, I expect the top to be pretty competitive. I'd also usually be aiming for the top, but even on a shortened path, I'm not willing to forgo a good nights sleep for what would likely be 1 extra cover on what appears to be a less than elite 4* that won't likely be battle ready for a few months now that high end progression rewards on PVP will soon be taking a hit.

    Good luck to all of you waiting. IMO, we already won by not grinding for the last 5 days. =D

    Is this likely the only spec we will see ending before the event ends? It doesn't look like we're getting updates from any other slices, so I'll probably be jumping in this as well. I waned to join he past two days as I had the days off with little to do. Of course, now that I'm going to be busy today, the bracket seems to be filling up.
    I'm only going to be aiming for top 50 for a single cover so won't be competition for anyone aiming higher.

    Honestly I don't get it. Is ducky the leader for everyone in slice four. I just assumed there were multiple brackets in each slice filling simultaneously. Are there really only around 3000 people playing this pve? I that the games base was much larger than this. Side note ducky does this every pve. It is said the V hasn't missed a refresh since November 2013.

    That's not quite how it works. There are multiple brackets in slice 4 but there only ever one bracket filling. For example, let's say 1000 people join slice 4 within the first 10 minutes, the next 1000 join within an hour of that, the next hour have joined within 3 hours, the next 8 hours, the next 24 hours, the next 48 hours. Now there's over 6000 people playing in time slice 4. We don't care about any of those brackets because we can't get into them though. What we do care about is when the next bracket opens so we don't have to compete with people who have been grinding for 3 more days than us.

    There is currently a noob bracket open for slice 4 but none of us can get it in because of our rosters. We don't talk about it because it might as well not exist for everyone on this forum.

    I have an alliancemate that created a new profile yesterday and joined this bracket. It was at 20 people at the time and now it's up to a few hundred.

    This is also slice4. and leaders with 33k points are MrTupee and moneywell
