    Testing out my 1/2/1 Ms. Marvel, I realized how much of a friggin' pain her featured PvE is going to be unless D3 lets up on the enemy scaling they've been pushing lately. Harder enemies, no mega-boosted 3* to help carry us, and we have to carry a deadweight 2* into the featured nodes. And to make matters worse she'll get absolutely killed if she tanks her colors (requiring health packs just to do the essential nodes, never mind what the actually-difficult ones will eat), meaning the other two party members will absolutely need RYK coverage and to be higher level, after boosts, than the featured character.

    I managed to hold on to first place fairly easily, by maybe 3,000 points. The other folks (Gobstopper and several Djangos) were very nice in not even looking like they would push for top 2, lagging by over 10,000 at the end.

    So thanks for the green X-Force cover guys! It is a huge upgrade.

    I only played to keep T10 since I had gotten up for the final hour anyway and I thought it'd be cool to have lots of Djangos in T10 lol.

    Unfortunately I need PurdyPrince to get bored too I think, as it looks like Asimo81 is still going strong.

    Thank you Vudu3 and and all the others I got second so got the cover I wanted. Although Agent MAY (a friend) from RaiderOutlaws, kept me honest by staying only a couple of hundred behind me in third. icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Fought my way up to around the 30 rank mark for most of the event. Spent nearly 5 days bouncing between 20 and 50, going as high as 13 and as low as 150+. Got to 28 and then quit with a couple hours remaining.

    Placed 55.

    I know all I'm losing is a single 2* cover, but ...really? So the last 2 hours are all that matter for PvE as well?

    Fell into the trap of trying too hard again. Fortunately there's no reason for me to even try for Blade (can't use him and resent the fact that there's yet another new character), and the top progression reward on this next one is just another 2* for the new character that's clearly not even top-tier, so at least I won't feel bad about "meh"-ing this next PvE.

    This event has no subs so the rubberbanding is really strong. Unfortunately, yes--the last 2 hours can affect the outcome quite a bit.

    The Hunt has subs out the wazoo so it won't be as much of a problem for that one. However, if you want to do well you're going to need to be able to play all/most of the subs for the last hour or two.
